(I'm not sure if this has been suggested, but here's my little suggestion...)

Okay, so my suggestion is, that you can change the Ph background to any image that you want.

It could be that you can put image from you computer to your ph background or a link the a image that you want to be your background in here.

I'm pretty sure that something similar was already suggested and rejected.
I agree that it would be nice to have more backgrounds on PH, but it's still PH, not your blog or your site, so adding your own pictures wouldn't be a good thing imho.
