The Pokemon world is collapsing. Pokemon and trainers
turning against one another, Fusions being made. The world isn't
right. Prophecies are told, telling of two. Most people don't
remember the prophecies, but some do. Zombies are created, the
undead. Humans and Pokemon alike. The wars stop and they team
together, but soon populations decrease.
The world needs a hero
or two.

obey Darkrai or she is hurt by him. She was given her abilities,
and Darkrai has been with her since, at least she has mostly gotten

Ebony leaned against a tree and slid to the ground with a sigh.
Why won't the zombies just kill me already? she thought
grimly, pulling out a Pokeball and rolling it in her hands.
There are hardly any wilds left, and the trainers don't seem to
dream anymore. And I don't dare enter a Zombie's sleep. She put
the Pokeball away before standing up again, grabbing an apple out
of the tree branches above her and biting into it.
Strife woke up in her makeshift "home," a room on the top floor of
an abandoned hotel. This hotel was in the middle of a zombie
infested city, but she didn't care. It's not like they actually
payed any attention to her, unless she got too close. She just lay
on her bed, contemplating things for a bit before jumping up and
reaching for her bag to get a snack. She pulled open her bag,
making sure to not cut herself on her weapons. She reached for a
can of peaches, prying it open with a knife then popping one into
her mouth. She quickly finished off the can, dropping the empty
container in the trash. She sat on her bed, looking out of the
window to the horizon, where there was a grove of fruit trees. It
wasn't that far away, so she got up, pulled on her backpack, and
got ready to go. She picked up two of her pistols and opened her
room door, locking it before she left, and started heading up the
stairs to the roof. When she got to the roof, she took a running
start, jumping from building to building, making her way to the
little fruit grove.
(Lets just assume Ebony is in the fruit grove your talking about
:p)
Why would you want to die child? the familiar eerie voice
spoke into her ear as she took another bite of the apple.
Because life sucks, Ebony replied simply, tossing the
remains of the fruit away into the trees before grabbing another.
She honestly was practically starving to death at this point, her
house had run out of food several weeks ago and she hadn't been
able to find any other food until now. Why would you think
that? The voice replied. Because I'm practically starving to
death, my family is dead, zombies are real and there is no way to
save the world at this point! Ebony retorted. Her temper was
starting to flare up at this point as she took another large bite
out of the apple.
Soon, Strife was at the edge of the city, where the buildings
became shorter and more squat, and also where there were few
zombies, unlike the center area, where she lived. She easily jumped
down a fire escape, making her way out of the city. She headed to
the fruit grove, reaching the entrance. hope there are no
zombies here, she thought to herself, her pink tail tucking
itself into the belt loops on her jeans as she pulled on a baseball
cap. Sure, it was uncomfortable, but it kept her undiscovered by
those who would want to do her harm. She walked through the grove,
picking various fruits and tucking them into a plastic bag from a
dispenser by the entrance. Apparently, this place used to be a
local fruit farm open to the public. She heard some crunching, as
if someone was eating fruit. She warily approached the source of
the sound.
Finishing the second apple, Ebony unknowingly tossed it in the
direction of Strife. "So hungry," she mumbled, grabbing another and
biting into it. True, child. Soon you will all be dead.
Ebony ignored the voice as she continued to eat. "This is like the
best thing I've ever tasted."
Strife dodged an apple core flying in her direction. She listened
closely and heard a feminine voice say something like "like the
best thing I've ever tasted." She crept through the evenly rowed
trees, spotting a girl eating apples. She saw that the girl's aura
was strangely strangled, as if it was being starved. Strife stepped
forwards, walking towards the girl, stopping by her side. She put
her hand on the girl's forehead, taking note that her body heat was
unusually low.
As Strife put a hand on her forehead, Ebony flinched away. "Who are
you and what the heck are you doing?" she asked. She ignored the
commanding voices in her head and looked at Strife, adjusting the
cover of her hair slightly.
"No," she lied. Really? the voice cackled as a sharp pain
shot through her scar. She flinched slightly, hoping it wasn't
noticed. Now, as I was saying before I'm curious about this
one's dreams. Not right now, Ebony retorted, struggling
not to make a sound as pain continued to course through her.
"Shoot!" Strife said, digging through her bag, pulling out pain
killers and her water skin. She popped a few into her hand, pushing
them into the girl's mouth and poured the water down her throat,
causing her to swallow the painkillers. "C'mon, work you stupid
painkillers, Work!"
"Shoot! The painkillers didn't work? God-dangit! Fine then, last
resort!" Strife pressed her hands on the girl's arms, building up
energy as a bright pink light emanated from her hands, pushing away
the pain in a large pulse.
(heal pulse ~o3o~)
"Let me go!" Ebony exclaimed, yanking away from Strife. Don't do
it Eb, control yourself, she resisted the urge to put Strife to
sleep. "I'm fine! Okay?"
"Death would be better than living in this terrible world, with a
dead family and real zombies!" Ebony snapped. Obviously Darkrai got
what he wanted, and the pain began to ease.
