Clove chuckled, striding over to Stone. Her soft tail touched his
shoulder. "That was a joke, Serious. All toms like she-cats
in their lives, and the other way around too. Except for maybe Ash.
He's forever alone, if I believe correctly." She meowed.
ash stopped laughing and once again looked offended.
''hey, i've been with a couple she-cat's before i met either of
you!'' he hissed, clearly trying to defend the last bit of dignity
he had left.
stone just curled up tighter.
''leave me alone...'' he grumbled.
stone uncurled and lifted his head up a little, but still looked at
the ground.
''you... think i have a chance with crystal..?'' he asked, his
voice small and quiet, yet still able to be heard.
he purred slightly and yawned.
''i'm going to take a nap...'' he murmured, curling back up and
falling asleep.
ash sat up and climbed back up onto the stone he was sitting on and
sat regally, ear's perked forward and tail curled around his
paw's.
''so... what do we do now?'' he asked, sounding bored at the
moment.
Clove turned to Ash, her tail wavering slightly. "I don't know
about you, but I'm going to find that Crystal she-cat. She
sounds good enough, but the sight of you will probably intimidate
her." She meowed, grooming her brown paw. "I suppose I can befriend
her." Clove murmured, mroe to herself then Ash.
''crystal doesn't mind either of us, clove.. she talked to me and
stone a while ago, wondering if there were any good hunting place's
nearby....'' he grumbled, ear's pinned back as the fur on the back
of his neck rose.
he scooped up a small pebble with his paw and tossed it at clove,
letting it lightly hit her other paw.
''besides, stone was trying to impress that she-cat just because of
how she looked..'' he murmured, looking down at stone with ear's
flat against his skull.
Clove sighed and rolled her eyes. "He'll fall for her personality,
too. Besides, Ash... don't be so miserable." She meowed, her
blue-green eyes flickering down to the pebble. She swiped it with
her paw, sending it skipping down towards Stone and lightly
bouncing onto his paws. Because the pebble was small, Stone didn't
react and likely didn't feel it, either.
he glared at clove and looked away.
''whatever...'' he grumbled.
ash laid down and rested his head onto his paw's.
''besides.. it's not like you've had a mate and they just suddenly
leave you for some other cat..'' he mumbled, his tone fairly pained
as old memories flooded back to him, causing him to curl up into a
tight ball and hide under his tail.
Clove's eyes narrowed. "What makes you say that, Ash? My mate did
exactly that and tried to kill me." She hissed. "Just move
on already. Obviously your mate didn't deserve to be with you, and
your stronger than her. So start acting like it!" Clove growled,
her claws slamming into the ground and her teeth baring.
he growled and looked at clove, ear's pinned back and teeth
bared.
''yeah.. but i was left for some other tom twice clove'' he said,
sounding more calm then he looked.
"Then the wrong she-cat fell for you twice. Stop acting like an
idiot with a broken heart and live your life like you should."
Clove snarled, glaring with her bright blue-green eyes. "Without
those two traitors haunting your mind."
''i have forgotten them, i'm now just remembering them all because
of this stupid conversation!'' he hissed, sitting back up and
unsheathing his claw's.
he scrapped his claw's against the mossy rock and tried to calm
back down as he gritted his teeth in anger.
Clove's eyes narrowed. "Explain those times when you flinch
whenever a word that has something to do with love is said. Those
days that you stare off into the sky with a deadly look in your
eyes?" She retorted, her brown fur bristling. "Stop lying to
yourself." The she-cat growled, and stalked away grimly to a more
open area.
''oh go be a kittypet'' ash hissed, curling back up and ignoring
the whole world now as he went into his own little world.
stone just rolled over and murmured something in his sleep, purring
softly.
Clove turned her head over her shoulder to give an annoyed hiss at
the black-furred tom. Her blue-green eyes weren't narrowed. They
were mixed with anger, melancholy, and what seemed like despair.
"You ignorant fool." She murmured under her breath, and padded
away.
crystal was walking around the forest, hunting while the others
were talking about what to do.
''why am i the only one out.... why am i the only one that doesn't
seem to help..? why do i get voted against when i try to
help.....'' she asked herself, ear's pinned back as she hunted.
Clove's eyes narrowed as she heard the sound of a she-cat speaking
to herself. "...When I try to help..." Meowed the she-cat. Clove
ducked under a bush and stealthily stalked towards the she-cat. She
was behind the she-cat at this point, and still remained unnoticed.
"Who are you?" She meowed, calmly.
crystal yowled and hissed, arching her back and her fur standing on
end.
she growled and pinned her ear's back.
''never sneak up on someone like that!'' she hissed in complete
anger.
