"See this orb that I'm holding?" Ryu held out his Ampharosite. "Apparently, if I concentrate on it while I'm battling, something similar to evolution happens. I have never experienced it, though."

"What Pokémon were you fused with? You look kind of like a Mareep," Ryu said. "It's possible that you'll be able to evolve into Flaaffy and Ampharos, if you battle enough, though I am no more certain about Gijinkas evolving than I am about myself being able to use this Ampharosite. I really hope that it's possible, though!"
(Note: I know that I'm allowed to; Ryu doesn't know how it works yet.)

(I think gijinkas /can/ evolve :/ not sure tho)

"So... I think I attack by... wait; how do I attack?" Ryu was extremely inexperienced in the art of being a Gijinka. "I think I'll just stick to Signal Beam, since I know it uses the orb on my tail." He tried focusing energy on his tail to make it light up, and then concentrating the light into a beam. The former worked. "Um... Rhym, can you possibly help? I have no idea how to attack..."

"Uh, I just focus on what i think the attack will do, and it sorta happens? Its harder to explain electric attacks than most physical attacks" She frowned and released a small discharge, with awful aim. If it wherent a wide range attack it would have missed.

"Eep!" Ryu yelped. He jumped back from the shock. "I must have really bad special defense... That attack looked tiny!" He focused on making a beam of light, again. He then tried lifting his tail above his head, in case he accidentally hit himself when it was behind him. A shower of green, red and blue sparks began to swirl around the orb on his tail, which started glowing white. Suddenly, a white beam of energy flew from the orb, and the sparks started swirling around it. Please actually do something when you make contact, Ryu thought. The beam of energy hit Rhym.
(You can decide the outcome of Ryu's first ever attack, Rhym!)

(If both of the parents of the Mareep that evolved into the Ampharos with which I was fused knew Signal Beam, the Mareep would hatch with it; also, Ampharos can learn it as soon as it evolves if you take it to a move tutor.)

"Are you okay?" Ryu asked. "Thanks for the compliment, by the way!" He glanced at his Ampharosite. Would this be the battle where he finally succeeded in using it?

(I didn't memorize that Mareep could learn Signal Beam by level up, but once I checked and saw that it could, I knew that it was possible to get it by breeding. Also, I taught a Pokémon Signal Beam by tutor in White 2, so I knew it was a move tutor move. -.-)

"Eep! I really need to work on my defenses!" Ryu released another Signal Beam, and glanced at his Ampharosite again. What was he even supposed to do to Mega Evolve?

Rhym expected it this time and moved to the side, noticing Sky out of the corner of her eye. "who are you?" She asked.

Bane got tired of following the human and started wandering, shaking bushes and trees when she got the chance.
