The title may be misleading so I will explain it:

In Roblox, they have banners advertising groups and games. I thought that maybe we could have something like this on Pokeheroes to advertise groups and shops.

You could just use your signature, but not everyone sees that! If it is a site-wide thing (and you can pick what page to put it on-lab, daycare, tall grass) then many more members could see it!

The way this might work would be:
There is a place to submit your advertisement to be checked to make sure it is ok. There would be a form, and it would ask What you are advertising (group, shop, etc.), What the picture looks like, and the url. (Urls to user-profiles, donations or gifts of any kind, off-site pages, etc would not be allowed.) It would also ask what page you want it on (as in having it in the lab, daycare, or other place on Pokeheroes.

You would only be allowed to have one active ad at a time, so it isn't spammed. Some ads would have to be little boxes, while others can be regular banners though. Videos would not work.

How would this be useful?
-So more people can see it
-So those people can join and you can have more members/customers
-So people can hear about and see your art
-So people can read your fan books
-So people challenge your gym/join your tournament

@ender well, not every member can post one (You need to be at least trainerlevel 10, easy enough) and look at all the pages on Pokeheroes, under the 4 tabs! (Home Town Community Settings...)

What I was thinking of was this suggestion. It's a bit different than this one.

Anyway I don't support. Some people on here don't have the skills to make advertisement banners, I've seen some things that look rather sloppy/dull and to have those banners plastered all over the place might be an eye sore. Besides people will have to compete for "air time" with how long advertisements are displayed, when they're displayed, where the majority of them are, things like this.

Besides I'm premium so I don't see ads, so I can't speak for those who can and if they actually look at them or just ignore them. Also, people if they want to trade items they know where to go so it's not as if we are in an unorganized mall and advertisements tell people where to go to get what they need. If you want to battle a gym then go to the gym forum, if you want to trade Pokemon go to the breeding thread, etc.

What I mean is, premium people would never see them and those who aren't premium would. So I can't speak for non premium members on whether or not they'd actually look at and click the ads if they saw them or just mind their own business and keep doing what they're doing.

No support. Regular ads never did any good, I don't see how these would. It's very easy to get around and see stuff. And as you already mentioned, there's sigs. Everybody sees those, ads won't make much of a difference.
