I don't think allowing anonymous gifts is a great idea - I got the following creepy message from one today:

I am one who follows the path of revenge. My eyes are long closed. The darkness is the only path for me. You know me. Yet you know me not. We talked ages ago. Yet we don't much anymore. Guess who am I?

Anonynous gifts allows people to hide and say things they might not ordinarily say. Please tell me who sent this message! I have no idea!

My friend Jackal got this gift as well. however it's ok if you don't do CREEPY things, but fun riddles are ok. Like I use this one, witch isn't creepy:

I love Anonymous Gifts ^^ Maybe some are a little bit creepy :D' But most of them are really cute :3

And some users use this to confess his love to another user, or to say thanks cause they are so timid to say this without the anonymous.

So, I think that the Anonymous Gift is a really good idea ^^

Anonymous gifts are both bad and good.

How is it bad?
What if someone is anonymous and links you to a horrible link? No one knows.

It's good to not confess your love to someone.

granted anonymous messages are wierd but it shouldn't mean its a bad idea ok this is the internet its rule #3 of the internet #3 we are anonymous

We already know there are some people abusing the anonymous gifts for creepy messages or stalking people.

But if you received those messages, just stop reading them. Be happy that someone sent you a gift and ignore the messages. This is the internet. As long as you don't give out personal information (like the address where you live etc), people can't do any actual harm to you. If someone feels big by sending creepy messages through the internet, they're simply cowards. Don't mind them.

Anonymous things is good when be revealed one day, this gives the good taste of the surprise.

Permanent anom gifts no makes senses, are just... cruel. (funny sometimes)

Unfriendly/harassing Gifts [anonymous or otherwise] can be reported, so the Mods can look into them. Lifting the Anon ban could be an option, but it might impact the amount of Gifts sent in the negatives, which is why it was decided against.

The same rules still apply, even if you send anonymously. Don't be afraid to report any future harassing messages.
