Tip toe...

While he had been here for a bit, he was still scared of the monsters that populated the Ruins. Toriel was nice enough to him, and while she taught him that the monsters were nothing to be afraid of, he was still frightened when they appeared out of nowhere to give him a scare.

He noticed three figures a ways from where he was, and he stood still in fear. They didn't notice him, however, so of course the best course of action was to call out to them.
