“Close range is good too.” Roma smiled. “I used to watch turf wars with my parents! Sometimes if someone on the opposite team gets too close, you have to splat them. Which close range is good for! My weapons are close range too.”

She looked around again. “Still four, I think. Me, you, and them,” She gestures toward Lovi and Raven.

“As far as I know, yeah.” Roma nodded. “I’ve never seen an.. An octoling before. I guess Inkopolis is just inklings right now.” She mused. “Do you live here, or somewhere else?” She asked curiously.

“I don’t live here, tbh I don’t where I live is.” Sky looks all around for a couple of seconds.
“And I ve never seen an inkling befor so,” Sky let’s out a chuckle. “I guess it’s a first for us both. The 1 thing that I noticed coming here is that inklings have their suction cups on the inside of their hair and not the outside like octolings.” (Hair right? And they r suction cups right? xD)
“Anyway, do u have a brother or sister?” “I’m probly rambling aren’t I?” Sky says quietly.

“Ah,” Roma nodded. She smiled kindly. “Inkopolis can be your home too, y’know. We’re pretty open.” She offered.

Her eyes brightened momentarily. “Yeah! Now that you mention it, you’re right! Your suction cups are on the outside of your hair! Huh. I didn’t notice!” She grinned.

“Yeah, I have a little brother.” She mused. “He was nice. And nah, don’t worry about it. It’s nice to talk to you. What about you? Do you have any siblings?”

“Btw, did ur parents ever say that octolings weren’t real? My mom said that inklings weren’t real.”

“Ah,” Roma nodded again. “Yep! Inkopolis! Capital city or whatever. It’s pretty cool, inklings from all over come to battle and meet each other!” She grinned.

“Yeah. Actually, we were always told that octolings were either nonexistent or evil.” She said hesitantly. “My teachers told me octolings were evil, but my mom always said they didn’t exist. I thought they were myths, but here you are! And you’re not evil either, so my teachers were all stupid.”

[Not much. Sky, Roma, Raven and Lovi are at the turf war place and have signed up to play at Snapper Canal. Sky and Roma have been talking for a bit, that’s about it]

Roma laughed. “I’m sure we all had stuff like that at some point,” She giggled, brushing her hair (hair? Tentacle?) out of her face. “I’m glad you aren’t evil though. Because now we can be friends!”
