"Oh, right, sorry," Mira stepped away, laughing, blushing slightly.
She shrugged it off and grabbed her helmet again.
"I am a veteran hero. They should all listen to me anyway!"
Alomara snapped. "They have no clue what they're doing. To them,
this is dress-up pretend."
Mira grit her teeth and raised the gun. "Say. That. Again. Go on,
I'm sure you picked up an extra life."
"Mira, stand down. Miss Alomara, you do know that we are the
reincarnations of the greatest heroes of all time, right? We can
handle ourselves. We were only attempting to find a relic that
would help us destroy the Calamity." Serena said, attempting to be
diplomatic.
"Did you just assume our thoughts?" Sorrow looked at Alomara. He
dug into his pocket, taking out a health potion, drinking it
slowly. "I really didn't want to use that." His body recovered.
"Listen here, 'Veteran!' To most of the survivors, this wasn't a
game! I would know! I guarantee you most of those still left have
lost their families!" He picked up his sword, no longer using it as
a crutch. "The hopes and dreams, of millions of innocent people, is
that just a 'game' to you?"
Kiris let out a small whoop at Sorrow's speech, then joined him.
"We need to go after the villains so we can right this wrong! So,
will you let us? Or will you just hold us back, trying to protect
us? Because that's what you're doing. And, believe me, that's
currently the most heinous crime of all."
Alomara narrowed her eyes. "Of course not. But I've seen this
happen before. You're all kids. On the top of the world,
thinking they can do no wrong, until a plasma beam hits them in the
chest. Reality comes crashing down. The villains don't care if
you're young or old, the original heroes or reincarnations. All
they want to do is get that port key."
"That might be true, but we have all been trained for years, for
this exact purpose. To fill in for Mega Man, or Link, or Regret, or
Zelda, or TRON, or... Whoever! This is what we've wanted to do all
of our lives! You should let us!" Mira snapped back, lowering the
gun.
((YEAH BOI))
"That's right! We should fight back!" Dirk cheered, happy that he
was finally in on some action. "Also you forgot Shovel Knight!" He
whispered to Mira, laughing.
"Maybe you planned this, you set us up!" His eyes were determined,
"All things given and forbidden, if you kept us busy long enough,
the bad guys would manage to gain all the power they needed to
complete their objective!" He slammed his fist to the wall, "What
we did was justified! We set the villains back a good 5 steps!"
Ayana chipped in, "These guys may be just kids, but they were
chosen for a reason! I know things about this facility that our
heroes may not."
Sorrow looked at Ayana, "What do you mean?"
"Fairy spies, it didn't take long for us to bring you back to the
real world from the mind-scape because we were already close by."
Alomara finally kicked her foot out (with HEELS, mind you) and
nailed Ayana in the jaw. Mira raised her hand to fire but a punch
to the face stopped her.
"Everyone.... Shut... UP!" Pink snapped which was completely rare
for her to do. "Alomara shut your mouth! I Don't want to hear
another word from your mouth or I WILL drop kick you!" She
hissed and whipped around to face Mira and Dirk "And you two! Shut
it! I don't care for ANY of this bull crap!" She growls, her
purple, blue eyes burning with anger
Jack put down Leroy against a wall, brought out his shield, and
drew his key blade in case if he needs to fight. Sora 2.0 is
probably going to be beaten pretty fast though.
Alomara raised her eyebrows. "Mhm. Attack me, kill me, sure. Tiger
is still here," She pointed out, grinning. Mira's heart sank, but
she clenched her fist, charging up a shot nonetheless.
"If you touch him I swear-" Mira growled, but trailed off.
