"We can't aim low when it comes to numbers, if they're grouped in
that location, we're looking at fighting maybe nearly 10." He
sighed, remembering the attack at the academy. "Last time we fought
3, but at least 8 were present. Right?"
Mira laughed as well, and shook her head. "I don't think so. But...
I think we've got the makings of a plan."
"As for their numbers... Eight sounds about right. But... We've got
the drop on them this time around. We're the ones with the
advantage. ...That sounds believable, right?"
"Dunno about believable, I mean, they know we're coming for them.
Defenses would be tripped the second they caught sight of us." He
thought for a second, "But, what if they can't see us? Like,
underground?"
Tiger nodded, "we could create a diversion, and the others could
ambush from underground maybe?" he suggested softly. "After all we
have the Pikmin on our side, and while we can only have Sarah
control 100 at a time, we could possibly get some of them to throw
bomb rocks from the trees"
Mira jumped at Vlad's voice. "Oh! Um... I'm sure you can," She
thought for a moment. If the Pikmin create the diversion, while
everyone else goes in for attack... This could balance things
out. "You can attack with us."
"Right, but who would dig? I mean, taking the goon's attention
elsewhere while we breach from the basement is a good plan,
however..." Sorrow looked at the holo-projecter. "Does that thing
have some kinda tracking beacon, do you know, Mira?"
"I mean, is it tracking us? If we carried that thing with us, and
dug under the base, they would know. Unless there was a way to jam
the signal. The distraction would throw the goons off sure, but
we'd still be at a disadvantage. We poke our heads out like moles,
and boom, game over."
"Alright. We can expect several robots, a few Waddle Doos and
Waddle Dees, and does anyone have a fishing rod? We can distract
Ganon if you do," Vlad replied.
Leroy began wandering around the base once again, this time
carrying a bag that he randomly found. It's most likely filled with
the spare weapons he found. He wasn't exactly paying attention to
where he was going and ended up bumping into the orange knight that
I mentioned several posts ago. "Sorry...." he muttered before
continue walking around the base.
-
"It's fine-" The orange knight, apparently named Jack, stared at
Leroy for a few moments. "......hey, mind if I follow you around?"
he asked. He immediately followed Leroy without an answer.
"If I could track the base, they can track this. There is
definitely some kind of tracker system on there," She nodded.
"Jamming it would be temporary, but effective. And... A fishing
rod. I don't have one, personally, but that's not a bad
idea..."
She looked up suddenly. "...Rush has a drill. He could dig,
and provide a distraction."
"I don't quite understand the distracting Ganon with trivial items,
can someone explain exactly how that works? I mean, he seems like a
total demonic overlord!" Sorrow's face was a bit confused, there's
something that just wasn't clicking.
"Wait a sec, what if we don't jam it, but, instead we divert it?
Like, put the device on a bird, send it far away, in a direction
opposite the base. As if we're running? Or send the bird to the
academy, they'd have to investigate, then we enter the base. And
gather some Intel. Recon." Sorrow still didn't understand Ganon's
deal, but he knew exactly what to do to throw things off balance
for the bad guys.
Tiger thought for a moment "that could work" he said with a nod.
"After all they'd go after it, and the base would be less guarded"
he mumbled, and crossed his arms.
"Perhaps... But one leader would have to go, at least." He shook
his head, "I can feel an itchy feeling in the air, we need to start
moving. We plan along the way, first off, I'll take this little
thing here..." He took a small robotic bird he took from the tech
office back at the academy before the ceremony, opening a slot on
its head, "Put the tracking device in this bird."
