Soulmates (Real Rp)
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Soulmates (Real Rp)he gave a small bow and kissed the back of her hand, just like a prince would to a princess before he stood straight again.
''yeah, i'll agree with you, your not too bad... hey, you want a drink?'' he asked.
"What kind of food do you dislike? I don't like fruits that well."
Troye pouted and looked at Corrie. "I'm sorry my darling, but it seems our dance has come to an end." He said, a little sad. That surprised him. He wanted to dance with her again, but he knew he couldn't. Thats just one thing he hated about his "job". He wasn't allowed to be selfish. He just shook his head and kissed the top of Corrie's hand. "That was fun. We should do it again." He said with a sweet smile. And with that, he took another girls hand, who looked like she had been too shy to ask herself.
The girl headed back to meet James, but stopped when she saw he was still talking to that pretty girl from before. That was weird. Her brother wasn't one to talk that much that easily, but Corrie was too glad to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Deciding not to bother them, the girl headed to one of the benches instead, sitting down and watching people dance. Their fluid movements, how graceful they were... It was mesmerizing truth to be told.
Oliver's smile faded a bit at the heat comment, but he pulled it back up into his lips. He was a massive cuddler, and he practically radiates heat when he was asleep. That meant they'd never be able to cuddle. "Uhm, I don't like fish too much. I dunno, it's just not something I like a lot."
He hummed as he thought of a question. "Favorite Song? I like 'Lifeboat' and 'New Perspective', honestly." He said, swaying his legs a bit and shifting lightly. He smiled up at James again after glancing away.
he took a quick peek at his wrist, to see if the writing was still there, but stood there with wide eye's as he seen it was gone.
he glanced at Mavet, then back at his wrist, his face growing a bright red out of realization.
how spiked is this punch for me to not be able to remember what the word's said....!? he thought, then tried to calm himself down as he picked up the cups and went back over to Mavet.

''i don't mind dancing again Lise, but i don't know when the next song will play'' Alicia said, rubbing her arm while blushing faintly.
she thought for a moment and smiled.
''we could go get a drink, just stay away from the punch... it's spiked, my brother warned me about it'' she said.
James noticed Oliver's smile fading when he said he didn't handle heat that well. The teen wondered if he offended his soulmate by accident. A part of him wanted to apologize, but he finally decided to just murmur a soft "That doesn't mean I hate heat though, just that I prefer cold weather".
"I suppose I enjoy 'Safe and Sound' as well as 'City of Stars'." He finally answered, humming said songs under his breath.
"Do you play any instrument? I can somewhat play the Piano."
Meanwhile, Corrie was starting to feel bored again. James was still engrossed in his conversation, and she didn't seem to have anything to do at this point. Wasn't it time for the gala to end already? If only she wore a watch...
Troye had danced with about seven more girls, or at least thats what he thought. He had lost count. One of the songs required everyone to change partners frequently. He readjusted his gloves, but didn't see the writinng when he pulled his left glove down. He just brushed the thought aside. It would be time to end the gala soon, after the last formal dance.
Lise smiled. "I should know. I've had a couple glasses. Hm, maybe I should have one more... or a non-spirited drink if you would like." She said quickly. She was smiling like an idiot, but at this point she was too tired to care. This had been so much fun. She almost didn't want it to end.
Mavet looked at Adam. She gave a soft smile, reaching her arm up. She took the cup from him slowly, and let out a sweet "Thank you." She held it in both hands, and sat down in a chair. She held the cup in her lap, her hands wrapped around it carefully. Though it was a plastic cup, she treated it with extreme care. She blinked, looking up at Adam again. She blinked, and gave another soft smile.
Oliver barely caught what James said, but looked down. He was embarassed for feeling sad, he felt like a whiny child almost. He blinked and looked up at James' question, brushing a piece of hair from his face and tucking it behind his ear. He ran his fingers over his cheek before answering the question. "I know piano, vocals, and I'm working on the violin." He smiled. "I come from a bit of an artistic family. I do artsy stuff." He smiled, laughing a bit.
"Well, uhm... Favorite city? Or country? I like Chicago, New York, and France." He smiled. "I've only been two of those places, but New York sounds good. I'm originally from France, actually." He hummed, brushing his skirt a bit. He glanced at the snack table, and blinked. He was a little hungry... But whatever.

Adam rubbed the back of his neck and smiled a little, his face still a bit red.
''hey, this might seem like a weird request.... but could maybe repeat what you said after i mentioned that quote....?'' he asked, a little embarrassed.
"Probably London and Los Angeles, though I've only been to the latter." That was when James noticed Oliver glance at the snack table. It dawned on him that they've been talking for a long time, without pausing to eat. "...I'll get us something to eat, okay?"
The teen stood up and headed to the snack table. Corrie noticed and went over to see her brother now that he was alone.
"So, you've been talking with that guy for a suspiciously long time. Should I know anything?" The girl teased, waggling her eyebrows.
"Corrie, he's my soulmate."
The girl actually dropped her glass of water at that, and only quick reflexes saved the glass from becoming shards on the floor. The shock didn't last though. Soon a grin spread across her face.
"That's great! Well, I wouldn't want to keep him waiting. Don't forget to introduce me later!" Corrie all but pushed her brother, who had two plates of snacks, back to his soulmate.
The girl sighed and gave a sad smile. It must be nice, having found your soulmate. She raised her hand to gaze at her wrist...
... Only to gasp when she realized the writing was gone.
Oliver nodded, watching James walk off. He noticed him interact with a girl and his face flushed. He looked down, but glanced up at the two again. He gasped softly as the girl dropped her glass, but sighed in relief when she caught it. He watched her say something and push James, and looked away. He looked back up at James casually. "Who was that, Jamie?" He hummed, trying out the nickname. He regretted it as soon as it slipped from his lips, wondering if James disliked nicknames.
''the reason why is cause the writing on my wrist disappeared.... and i can't remember what was once written there, and i know, stupid of me to not remember...'' he muttered, now blushing out of embarrassment.
She walked over to Troye and smiled, getting them each a glass of the spirited punch. "So, how's the gala going for you? Meet anyone special?" She said with a sly grin. Troye ran a hand through his hair and eyed the glass, not sure whether or not to take a sip. "Well, there was this one girl..." Troye said before shaking his head. "What about you dear?" He asked. Lise smiled and motioned over to Alicia. "Thats my soulmate there, Alicia. She's wonderful." She said happily. Troye smiled, but there was a tinge of sadness in his eyes. "Well, you go back to her then." He said snd Lise nodded, giving a casual wave before heading back to Alicia, taking a non spirited drink with her for Alicis. Troye just smiled sadly after her, thoughts whirring around his head almost making him dizzy.
James blushed when he heard Oliver call him Jamie, but otherwise did nothing to get the other to stop. Usually Corrie was the only one to call him that, but he was willing to make an exception. "She's my younger sister Corrie, the one I told you about just now." He murmured, before giving Oliver the snacks he had taken from the table.
Still, she better find her soulmate quickly! The gala would soon end, and she'd definitely have a harder time finding him once it did. With that in mind, Corrie began painstakingly observing everyone she had interacted with and their wrists closely.
