"Saxton Dex." He smiles. "I have a camping site back there... If ya
wanna come and join me. I have a feeling a certain Weavile will
come and get me anyway..." He mutters.
A Weavile, he said. Now, he did sense another presence nearby and
it was the same one. "Very well then. I'll be willing to join.
We do have a common goal here..."
Opal and Tourmaline were warming up with Opal's flame. They were
still cold, but it was better than nothing. Tourmaline had a small
advantage against ice types with her fire type moves, but it wasn't
a huge advantage. Opal sighed, and wished they could go to the next
realm, but it hadn't been ten years yet.
One of the Ice Pokemon watched Reish go. "Pola, can you believe it?
We got to see him up close! He's so much larger than I thought!" he
whispered to his Snorunt friend. She nodded, quivering as Reish
glanced at them.
NPC POV End
Reish had heard that Cubchoo and Snorunt talking. What could they
want? His main head snapped in their direction. He let out a tiny
growl, his reddish eyes narrowing. "Yes?" the huge Hydreigon
demanded. They quivered even more as he approached.
"N-Nothing sir!" Pola, the female Snorunt, squeaked, dragging the
Cubchoo away.
"That's what I thought. Youngsters these days, ugh."
Zura continued to move on to see a group of Pokémon he felt the
wind and leaned against a tree facing towards the wind for it cold
block the wind chill. His fur could only keep him warm so much. He
silently watched the Pokémon talk he wanted to talk it was good to
have company but was afraid it was some sort of trap.
Weavile continued staring at them, feeling something deep in her
chest she knew was familiar. She moved out from the bush and gave
them a look that only she would give to close friends. "Hey, I can
help you guys find shelter," she said, trying her best not to be
too warm with them. She hoped that helping them would be worth the
trouble.
Hercules shivered, sneezing loudly several times. "H-Hercie, you're
g-going to be okay," Jerry whimpered. "Th-Thank you, so much,
uh..."
She didn't want to offend the Weavile, but she didn't get good or
bad vibes from this Pokemon. It might be okay to go. "Hercules,
we're going to be okay. A nice Pokemon is offering us shelter.
It'll be okay. Just stay close to me, I'll try to keep myself warm
with some Fire-move."
She glanced up at the Weavile, a thankful expression on her face.
"Thank you," she mouthed as Hercules pressed ever closer to her.
Suddenly, without notice, Weavile smiled the most genuine smile she
had ever made. She quickly went to normal after a few seconds and
turned around. "You're going to have to run. Make sure to catch
up," she declared "and I don't have a name so just call me
Weavile." With that, she gave them a sign to follow her and ran.
Hercules sneezed again, falling over. "Hercie, you're frickin tiny.
I'll carry you like how my mother carried me. Sorry if I hurt you."
Jerry lifted the tiny Leafeon up by his scruff and bounded after
Weavile.
"J-J-Jerry, I-" he sneezed several times "-I can... I can... Wa-
I'm tired." Hercules's eyes drifted closed as he fell asleep. Jerry
smiled at her companion, keeping pace with Weavile.
Soon, Weavile was scavenging for a cave or abandoned den. She
searched hard and fast for one in case they freeze before she can
even help them. She then found a small cave big enough to fit all
three of them.
"You two stay here, I'm going to find some dry wood," she
instructed. She continued running after that and quicker than a
second, she was gone. Weavile never once gave care to others but
for once, she acted motherly.
Jerry set her friend and comrade down gently on the cool cavern
floor. "Stay strong, Hercie. She would've wanted it."
Hercules glanced up at his Houndoom companion/friend/crush. He knew
who she was talking about.
Meanwhile while Aoi was following along Saxton's footsteps back to
the Rotom's base; Daiyu was stuck roaming around within the frosty
forest nearby. Oh, this is getting too cold for her! Surely there
must be shelter nearby, she thought. She was getting too tired...
Too... Her vision grew dark and all went black from that very
moment. The cold must've took a big toll on her.
Weavile began to scavenge harder for dry wood. Snow continued to
throw furiously and Weavile, bit by bit, began to feel the cold.
She couldn't give up just yet. She had people to take care of.
Soon, she encountered an almost frozen Illumise.
"Hey, are you okay?" she asked, trying her best to at least find
some life in her.
Saxton sighed in the camp. "Mind waiting here? I felt like
something was a-tottering around..." He says to the absol. He still
didn't know her name yet. He went off in the direction of the
sound. "Ah." He says, looking at the Weavile that he encountered
earlier. "Hey! I have shelter!" He yelled, hoping that... they?
Could hear him.
She didn't seem to respond but thank god, she was able to sound out
a few mumbles. She's still alive... Now, a demon...? Being helped
by a mere mortal? Now that was a strange thing for Daiyu to
experience. But then again, maybe it's a good thing...
Aoi only nodded in silence. Hmm, he still hasn't revealed his true
name yet. Let alone... His name in general. And what's his purpose
on roaming around here.
Weavile's expression didn't change but she was rather relieved. She
kneeled down and picked up the bug-type.
"Look, don't think about it too much but I'm going to help ya," she
commented.
She was then sprinting to the cave and ignored the cold as if it
was a small spider on her. She took stops to pick up wood but she
returned quickly to the Houndoom and Leafeon. She set down both the
wood and Illumise. With a cold glare, she turned to the Houndoom.
"You, do you know a fire-type move?" she asked.
Jerry snorted, obviously unamused. "Why wouldn't I?" the Houndoom
asked. She curled her tail over her back, strutting over to the
pile of wood.
She took a deep breath and set the wood ablaze. It wasn't a huge
fire, for fear of harming the fire-weak trio. It wasn't too small
either, so they would still be warm.
Oh, the warmth of hell was the first thing that went through her
mind. Was she really dead or something, she thought. Her wings
flapped a bit with a hint of faint buzzing from it, slowly thawing
out from her semi-frozen state.
His story? Now for obvious reasons he wouldn't tell such secrets
until he can trust them fully. But this Rotom, he seems trustworthy
enough. After all, he already sensed that he was no danger. "...
Going to take down Kyurem is my goal at the moment. They've killed
my family..." He explained thoroughly yet firmly.
