"Riiiigght, yeah I was totally gonna go there..." He stands there awkwardly in silence for a bit. "Well uh...I should be going" James heads in the wrong direction, Sector catches on and immediately steers him in the right direction, giving him a light tap on his head. Sector: //Nice try//

With Sector guiding James through the hallways of the school they finally reach the class.

"Hope ya find it alright. " blackstar said still petting turmoil and rubbing his belly

He pawned at blackstars hand playfully

James is now standing outside the door. "Do I really have to do this?" Sector "Yes, you're not getting away with it" James "Ugh, fine."

James reluctantly opens the door and enters the classroom. Although he notices the glares and the whispers he's attracted towards himself like he's an outcast, he ignores them. "Uh, hello. I've been here a few weeks but this is my first lesson on...The dragon spirit? What should I do?" Shutting the door behind him, he looks around and locates the teacher.

"You must be James then . Blackstar mentioned you had joined the school. Youre late though . You better not come late to this class again you hear me. Now take a seat " She was obviously a bit annoyed at him for coming in late

blackstar playwed with turmoil a bit longer before saying "oh i have an idea . lets go back into my office i have something you might like turmoil"

"Really?!"He proped up, Shaking his fur,before jumping up and down excited

"Right, got it Miss..." He uncomfortably makes it to the only seat right in the middle of the class, awkwardly situated between some other riders who have been giving him the looks. His entrance and swerves to his seat were not elegant, disrupting the entire class as he finally sits down, embarrassed by how clumsy he was. After settling down, he and Sector patiently wait for the lecture and listen.

"Its Flaming Trees . Anyway the dragon spirite as we all know is a sort of energy givin off by the crystals found on this world and many others. It is also the same energy that is given off by many living things. As this is true it is especially important to the dragons as the crystals give them life as in a way the dragons "soul" comes from the energy given off and returns to the crystals when they die. Both riders and dragons are able to detect the dragon spirit with the right amount of focus and in a way this gives us a sort of second sight. Riders tend to use the dragon spirit as well in battle as if you know how to properly use the energy it can be used for both attacking and defence. Though there is a certain race of dragons who have no connection to the dragon spirit whatsoever. Those dragons are known as the souless which are completly void of the dragon spirit and are incapable of using it. Though at the same time this seemingly makes them more like ghosts.


Blackstar went over to her office

*James raises his hand for a question* "Uhm...I've been half-ghost before." The majority of the class give him a funny look. "What exactly makes the souless like they are? Can you become one? Also, what kind of attacking and defense could you do exactly using the energy? When you say 'like ghosts' what kinds of stuff do you refer to? And-" Sector interrupts: //You're asking too many questions James, just let Flaming Trees answer for now// James: //Oh right...I guess I'll stop then//

"Uh, right I think those are some of the questions I have"

"Welll . My sister was actually the first souless. Shes also their queen . It is unknown how exactly she became one as all we know she was on her death bead one day and vanished the next. Though so its unknown exactly how the first souless was created but it is theorized they are a sort of vampire varient. Though as in the name they dont have a soul . Or the dragon spirit many dragons are so close to . The souless can turn others into souless by having direct eyecontact with someone . In which they would consume the soul and from that point on the dragon has to follow their command. which indirectly makes said dragons have to take orders from the queen as well though this can be counteracted somewhat through taking souls many souless just prefer to take life force from plants and animals around them rather than do such a think which also works but is a much slower process . Also by being like ghosts i mean they have an inate abbilitity to phase through objects and people as well as being abble to vanish from the physical realm for large periods of time . Anyway onto your other question about using the dragon spirit for attacking and defending. " She without warning had thrown a ball of energy directly at him but right before impact it disapated harmlessly "now any other questions? If not we can get directly into trying to sense the dragon spirit as it is an essencial skill for any rider to know early on . I would advise that everyone turned into their dragon form for this as for now this will make it much easier as dragons are much more atuned to the dragon spirit " upon saying this flaming trees had shifted directly to her dragon form (just for size refrence flaming trees is likely just a tad bit bigger than felcor in dragon form.. lets just say much larger then any of the kids in the room would be in dragon form)



Blackstar took out a bubble machine and turned it on for turmoil

James was glad the energy ball didn't hit him although he wasn't as scared, being used to getting hit by everything. He stood up and walked over to a spot where he and Sector mostly had the space to themselves and transformed into his dragon form. James was happy to see that his dragon form was just a tiny bit bigger than before, although he was intimidated by how he pails in comparison to almost everyone else in the class, especially Flaming Trees.

Sector, now standing next to James, looks to be the same caliber of size upon closer inspection.
James asks "Okay, what do I do now? I just focus to detect the dragon spirit?"

""Yes but like most things in being a rider you must be able to have a clear and open mind before it can be acheived. Only once you learn to do this and be able to see the dragon spirit shal you be able to move on in this class. " flaming trees had said

Blackstar just watched turmoil for a bit

He watched the bubble maker for a while, popping the bubbles as they came out,not giving them a chance too fly away

James gives Flaming Trees a nod in understanding and does some breathing exercises beforehand, trying to clear his mind just like in his previous training many years ago. Inhaling. Exhaling. Sector watches and although he already feels focused enough he follows James' lead. After a few seconds they are breathing in perfect sync. Inhaling. Exhaling. Sector and James are standing perfectly still symmetrically, like twin dragon statues frozen in time. Inhaling. Exhaling.

"So. I don't know what were going to do now.... or to be more exact you." Flix sighed.

Rogue was quite the distance away though he was swimin far into water dragon territory
