James heard Aria from a little ways off and started a roof top run
to get back.
"Not the healthiest thing to do, but I really have no choice."
James thought.
Finally he saw Aria but he realized he couldn't explain his arm. So
he quickly dashed off and found an abandoned store.
The only things left were jackets and gloves. "People don't like
this heat and left stuff behind."
James put on a jacket and gloves and the started cramming the rest
in his back pack.
James then rushed back to base carrying all the supplies he had
gathered.
"T-thank you." Aria said softly, limping slightly, even with James'
help. She winced every time her foot hit a rock or stick, sending
waves of pain through her bruised body.
”Hello There! I am Alter Ego, your
technological guide!"
"That character is so old, even I know about her." James said. "And
I had practice. Not with very legs but quite a few arms. I could
probably build new arm and still build."
"I think it looks awesome, plus I got ugly scars from when I fought
the assassin." James replied looking curiously at Nova.
"Did she notice that my arm was different? Or did she wonder why I
decided to wear warm clothes in hot weather?" James wondered.
Nova chuckled. "We all have scars... Some are just more visible
than others..." She rubs at her back a little. "It may look neat,
but it is very hot... You're liable to get sunstroke..."
The knight started to grow bigger. His armor started to break as
his muscles got stronger. Only his blue jeans remained. He let out
a roar and charged up with his sword. He slashed at James who
raised his left arm to block it.
