"In a tree, actually. Looks like dog bites around here, blunt
damage around the head right here." She motioned. "Don't be fooled,
I'm smarter then I seem." Fernwing gave a silly smile, which
quickly morphed into a serious expression. "We're going to need
some serious medical attention on this one, she weighs barely more
then a bird!"
Whiteleap stays quiet for a moment before nodding, loosening up
quite a bit. "Fernwing, watch the kit, make sure she doesn't die"
he meows quietly, sounding a bit uneasy.
She went outside. "Wolfpaw has been muttering about a
prophecy....the same one I heard this morning. I think someone will
trh to hurt our clan..." Wishflower said.
Wolfpaw flashed open her eyes suddenly. Blindly, she grabbed the
marigold and put it next to the kit. She also grabbed some chervil
root.Luckily they had spare comfrey as well. She started chewing it
into a polituce.
"Alright! Be sure to bring me back a bird or something though!" She
called after Whiteleap as he walked away. "Dangit kitty, stay not
dead, a'ight?" She mumbled to the unconscious body of the kitten,
an uneasy feeling flooding through her bones. Her fur stood on end
for a moment, her earrings feeling heavier as her ears drooped. She
couldn't bear to see another kitten like this. Not again... She
pushed away memories as she waited for Wishflower.
//i was thinking about how she had earrings and then i remembered
she was a kittypet, and humans be doing weird junk to their pets so
eh
"I will!" whiteleap calls back towards fernwing, picking a squirrel
out from the pile. "Would you like to share this, or do you want
something else?" he asks snowflank
Wolpaw lays the polituce over the kits wounds, she soon goes to
grab some moss. She grabbed a wad of it and soaked it in a nearby
puddle, she tested the water. Clean. She dropped the moss nezt to
the kit, and then slid it on her head.
Whiteleap turns to snowflank. "Are you catching a cold?" he gasps.
"Thats not good, you cant be wounded AND sick!" he panics as he
pushes the squirrel towards her. "You need to eat something!"
The two she-cats herded Ollie away from the growing chaos in the
camp and towards the nursery. "I'll get you something to eat Ollie,
for now I need you to stay with Rosepetal in the nursery. Okay?"
Ollie had fluffed up in alarm when he noticed all the cats in the
area, ears laying flat on his head until the herded him away. He
simply nodded in response, fur still fluffed up but his ears no
longer laying flat on his head.
"Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out alive."
"The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people
will insist on coming along and putting things in it."
"Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday."
"A day without sunshine is like, you know, night."
Whiteleap nodded and bent down beside her to take some of his
share. "That wolfpaw....i think something is off about her. I've
been uneasy ever since she killed that badger"
