Hi all, I just finally got a link cable for my Gameboy Colors and can FINALLY trade between my gen 1 and gen 2 games. However, it's becoming pretty annoying having to make sure every pokemon with non-compatible moves along with gen 2 exclusives is in the box before initiating the trade. I'm looking to complete the pokedexes in my yellow and gold carts. Does anyone know of a simple and intuitive guide that shows you side by side comparisons of a single pokemon in each generation, i.e. where it's found, what moves it learns, etc? Besides just looking it up and having two windows open, of course. Thanks in advance.

I'm asking the people who bought and played the game who don't judge from what reviewers and angry backers say. For those of you who played it, what do you really think of it?

I honestly thought it was a decent platformer run n gun. I have played a lot of these in my 29 years of life and have played so much worse platformers in that time. I actually found some enjoyment in it. I thought characters like Call, Cryo and Dyna were lovable characters. The music is definitely not as impressive as the music you would find in MN9 big brothers series but, I found the songs to be pretty catchy nonetheless. Some boss battles were way too easy and made it feel like using the boss weakness weapons was way too cheap. I shouldn't really be saying that since its big brothers series had that problem as well but, whatever. It's a running complaint that will most likely never go away.

I know the game has framerate issues and whatnot but, this thread isn't about that. It's about what you actually thought of the game itself. What did you like or dislike about MN9? Did you expect another Megaman game, a new game entirely, or did you think it would be somewhere in the middle?
