Kyr chose not to sleep right away. She was in a mood now. Words in different languages swirled through her head. She mutters a curse in latin and slides out of bed. She walks out to the balcony, humming one of her favorite songs. If she were back in Split right now, she'd probably be singing little Morgan Stormfield to sleep. Morgan was one of the younger kids in Split, and loved it when Kyr would sing something for her. The thought of it made Kyr want to cry.

	Kyr gave Suvansh a frosty smile. "Depends." she offered no more to answer his question. Aryyc gives Suvansh a strange withering look from behind Kyr's back. The kwami seems to be telling Suvansh not to ask anymore about Kyr's line of work. Kyr knew her job was dangerous. But there's no fun in something in there isn't at least a 60% chance of death involved. [Read more]

	Sensing Suvansh's thoughts, Kyr shrugged again. "Business is business. Information is my job. Have you ever heard of Frost?" the name floats of her tongue and it takes all of Kyr's willpower to not flinch. Frost was Kyr's nickname in "the business" and was commonly used by criminals and scum alike. Kyr ran an underground information system after all, she couldn't use her actual name. [Read more]

	Kyr shrugged. She begins counting with her fingers. "English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Latin, Greek, Gaelic, Russian, Mandarin, and Japanese." she said, language-dropping every language she could speak. "My parents taught me English, German, Latin and Gaelic. I learned Greek and Italian from Split and the rest I learned in the business." [Read more]

Kyr gave Suvansh a lopsided smile. "I speak 12 languages." she says, running her fingers through her shiny brown hair. "My parents taught me 5 languages, but disappeared when I was 9. I picked the other 7 up along the way." she says, her voice devoid of any emotion. Aryyc gave Kyr a worried look. The kwami always knew what Kyr was thinking. Sometimes, it annoyed Kyr. But now, Kyr was thankful to have someone who was there, and someone who understood.

Power: Lyra has the unique ability to manipulate the stars in a number of ways. Lyra has tattoos of the constellations all over he arms, neck and torso. She can alter someone's fate (not like, long term, but for like 24 hours) [I'm still working out the other way]
Was your character picked or volunteered: Volunteered
What did your character do for a living before the Hunger Games (school, work, ect): Lives in Split, with Kyr. Speaks as many languages that Kyr does, but prefers sword combat.
Anything extra:

Lyra knew from the beginning that she would die here. But she knows that it'll be to save somebody, so the sacrifice is worth it.

	Kyr laughs. "I've been playing since I was eight." she comments, tracing her finger along the ornate designs in the wood. "I can play several instruments actually, I just prefer not to." she turns back to the piano. She the song again, this time a little bit faster. She smiles at Suvansh. "Personally, I prefer languages, but instruments are fun to learn as well." [Read more]

Kyr was pleased to find a room with a piano in it. She sat down and slid her fingers across the keys. Aryyc popped out of Kyr's dress pocket and landed on the top of the piano. "I wonder if I can still play..." Kyr murmrus aloud. She takes a deep breath and begins to play. At first, it was quiet, but it got louder and louder as the song went on. It was a sort of sad song, one that would make you cry and smile at the same time. Kyr closed her eyes and allowed muscle memory to guide her through her childhood favorite song.

Aurora took a deep breath. "Should I stay here?" she asks suddenly. Refusing to meet Suvansh's eyes, she continues. "This was where I lived with Lenora. I.. I think it may be better for me to stay here a little while. I think you know as well as I do that I need help. And this kind of help can't be found at Hogwarts." she says, sounding sad but decisive, like she's already made her decision.

Too many betrayals, too much pain. Kyr shakes her head, clearing her thoughts. She wasn't the same girl who had first arrived in Split, she was older. She had learned from her mistakes. She had fought and won impossible battles. She had endured too much.

Aurora stared at her old room. She had woken up several hours before, and explained what happened with Suvansh. Suvansh had gone to do something, leaving Aurora to her own devices. Running her finger over the ornately decorated door, Aurora presses her temple to it. Memories flood over here. She may have transferred over to Hogwarts in her second year, but this place was still her first home.

Kyr shakes her head. "Twinges from an old wound. Happens sometimes." she says, as evasively as Suvansh had been when she asked him about his back. Kyr flexes her wrist and takes a deep breath. Aryyc gives her a worried look but says nothing, curling her tail around her nose and tucking herself back into Kyr's pocket. Kyr runs her finger along the jagged scars once more, indicating what she was talking about.

Kyr gives Suvansh a frosty smile. "Aryyc has her moments." she says, still casual. For the third time, she traces the scars on her eye. For the first time in the conversation, Kyr looks truly lost in thought. Kyr allows herself to be lost in memories for only a few seconds before she snaps back into reality. "It's nice to have a companion sometimes." she says absentmindedly. A stab of pain strikes her from behind her eyes and she flinches. While technically she could see out of her right eye, Kyr had gotten used to the blurriness, so when her vision clears, she isn't expecting it.

Kyr smiles. "Care to introduce yourself little leopard?" she says to the kwami, earning a scowl. "I'm Arryc! I'm Kyr's kwami!" Arryc said, hovering above Kyr's shoulder. Kyr fingered traced her finger along the scars over her right eye again. "She's my constant companion." she says. "I'm the Snow Leopard kwami, I grant the power of the Patterned Frost!" Aryyc says, doing a loop in midair. "Hush Arryc." Kyr says with a smile. "We don't want him to have all of our secrets now do we?" Kyr knew as well as Arryc that the Patterned Frost was not Kyr's only secret, but the two silently agreed that Wealth of Information wasn't Suvansh's concern.

Kyr laughs. "Real smooth, real subtle." it was the first time in days she had laughed. "Nice change of subject." Arryc flies out of the pocket and lands on Kyr's shoulder, looking amused. Kyr scans Suvansh, observing him. "Is there something wrong with your back?" she asks casually, noticing the way her held his shoulders. "You look like your in pain." she adds, narrowing her eyes, as if daring him to lie to her.

"I know things." Kyr said, with a hint of superiority. She noticed that he wouldn't meet her eyes. Well her eye. She could barely see out of the right one. Aryyc popped her head out of Kyr's pocket yet again, but this time didn't look away. Curiosity pricked Kyr, but she said nothing more. She raises an eyebrow. "That's an interesting question." she murmurs. She isn't in a position where she feels she needs to diverge her business secret, but it's not like this.. Suvansh could do anything about it.
