Amelia smiled when she heard the female guild member compliment her flute.
"I know", she cheered "It has at least 200 years but still works perfectly fine, a wind seraph would totally love it" she added without knowing the true nature of her interlocutor.

It hurted her heart having to part ways from the flute, but it was the only way that she could afford the map.
Her sack was almost empty and she had already sold almost all the valuable items she managed to save from her temple's fire.
Food and bed were more important than memories.

When Amelia woke up, two hours later it was still sunny outside.
She exited the inn after getting indications about the merchant's guild location, and started to walk down the street.
The place was full of people looking to buy goods from the Silver Feathers, Amelia truly hoped that they had maps.

After a little bit of queue, she was able to reach the main stall.
She looked at her right, apparently there was a young man selling swords to one of the guild's girls. If she could do the same, her wallet would be spared.
A young man from the guild called her waving his hand to claim her attention.
She almost ran to him, and shouted in a kinda high voice "I'm looking for a map! A world map!"

Someone knocked at Amelia's room in the inn.
"Are you here?" a male voice asked.
"I'm here", she answered back, recognizing the voice as the innkeeper's.
"Good. You might like to know that the Silver Feathers are on town"
"Who are that?"
"A wandering merchant guild"

She grabbed her pouch, probably she could make money with a few things she had on it. Maybe she could even exchange some for a new map!
But... she was still too tired to go.

"I'm going to take a short nap first", she informed to the innkeeper "Then I will check on the merchant's place"

Is actually almost 3am here and my internet is being stubborn.
I'll try to join the main party (or at least get to know the main characters) on my next message

Amelia let a sigh out and sat on the bed's edge. The small village was actually a big town, "Note to self: Don't take the map seriously", she said to herself while yawning.
She was in the second floor of the town's main inn, there was a bit of ruckus outside, a fight she presumed, but she didn't mind it at all, Amelia was too tired of walking.

She picked the old book from her sack, with the face of someone's who has just discovered poo on their shoe sole.
"Better check it a little, it might smell like vomit, but it can be useful"

There were a lot of pages describing a really complicated ritual of some sort on a moonless night, a few pictures of... demons probably? maybe an archaic version of seraphs?.
The book changed between three different languages at random, it was troublesome since Amelia could only understand one of them, so the book was still unuseful.
Unuseful and smelly.

She sighed again and after letting her body fall in the bed, she closed her eyes, hoping to be able of sleeping a bit, even when it was daylight outside.

After a little investigation and a few stumbles between the rocks, Amelia could totally see that there wasn't anything she could use, not a single clue of why the temple was totally burned and destroyed and much less any type of lead that could help her caretaker.
A faint glimpse of light catched her gaze, something was under the altar, knowing that her hand couldn't grab it, she used her bow as extension of her arm.

It was a book, and old moldy book, it smelled like rotten... was the cover made of human skin? She suddenly felt nauseous of the simple thought.
Some of the pages were totally un-readable, a few of them had dark splotches (maybe blood) and like ten or fifteen ended as rat food.
Even with the bad smell and the creepy appearance, Amelia packed it on her pouch, next to her old rag map.

"Guess it's time to check the village", she spoke to herself for the first time on weeks, her own voice sounding totally foreigner to her ears.

To Amelia's disillusion, the temple was long ago gone when she arrived. Only ruins remained there. She mentally cursed her old map. It looked like it was totally burned to the ground, she deduced that it was at least 40 years ago of that.

Amelia tried to picture how the real shape of the temple was. It was probably a rectangle shaped structure and had these tear shaped archs she loved, just like her temple on the mountains, miles away.
It was kinda smaller than her temple, and didn't had that holy aura on it... probably because the fire, but it was something more that she noted, this temple was made by humans, not by seraphs, like the one back home.
Like it was a smaller copy of her temple. She couldn't help it, but suddenly she felt homesick, every burned column, every scorched bench, every crystal on the floor, it was just like her former home, everything...

Amelia unrolled her frayed map, she looked it trying to locate herself. It was really old, totally worn, and kinda inaccurate, but it was a lifesaver to her. Carefully observed her surroundings, trying to see every rock formation and water course reflected in the map, a kinda difficult task for her little cartography knowledge. She finally found herself, to the north, she could find a small village, the name totally blurred on the map, lifted her eyesight to the east, the map said that there was a temple on that direction. Instead of going to the village, she folded back her map, put it on her sack, and started to walk to the east, there might be help for her problem here.

(Actually, the small village is the town on which Ryu and Draco are, it's just that the map is totally un-updated and has like 200 years)

History : Amelia can sense and see seraphs since a young child, raised by a seraph monk on a hidden temple in the mountains. She was really spoiled by him and she couldn't leave the temple territory, always doing the same things everyday, she grew acostumed to rutine. On her 15th birthday, she got a black silver magic bow made by ice seraphs. Even when she couldn't summon the ice magic on her bow, she started to practice with it, gaining aim and experience enough to hunt small animals on the temple territory. Until last year. On the first day of spring, her caretaker succumbed to the malevolence and she had to flee to avoid any harm. She knows really little about the inferior world, but Amelia is ready to search far and wide for way to save her seraph friend.

Owch, I've actually expent 15 minutes thinking and translating a name into Zestiria's ancient language just to read the rules and see that it wasn't necessary... RIP me XD

Stained ones are girls, they are 6000 treasure each, but the one outside of the spoiler isn't on the AH.

The Ruby stained girl is limited to people of this thread, so first one to send a Crossroad with 6000 treasure (or more if you want, won't complain about that :P) to Eizen, gets her.
