shiny charizard is worth about 35k maximum, everything else is easily visible on the first post.

and the Shiny Safari Vivillon are like, 350-400k in value i think, im not sure i've seen anyone actively selling/hunting them because its kind of a hassle and expensive with how the safari can be troll-y

id argue theyre virtually incalculable because of the necessary egg storage to make it even remotely possible to hunt them. so it's like, up to the buyer/seller to figure that out amongst themselves but it'd be fairly high.

Giga pokemon would logically be worth about as much as the base pokemon + dynamax crystal value, so a Butterfree only needs 1 so it'd be worth about the same if not a bit less than a single crystal, which can be obtained often for 1 dragon gem via gts so they're like, 25k at least

Just because people manage to amass ridiculous amounts of money for the horrendously expensive egg storages to hunt them doesn't excuse or give reason for it not to be made easier, and the reason they do it knowing the cost and the risk of it is because there is no alternative to it. Sure it comes with the benefit of multiple egg storages being useful for other things but that doesn't mean Lati@s isnt a horrible hunt that takes a ridiculous amount of preparation to even attempt right now which could result in a chain that ultimately screws you over anyway.

An example of such being Kimie's recent chain of Latias where she got a shiny at 87 and then had to break it by force of hand as the site gave her a Latios when her egg storage was filled with them, meaning she'd be without a second Latias. The argument of other people going through something and then it being made easier over time being 'unfair' is a bad one imo and just sounds kinda gatekeep-y. If it must be made not-so-easy to please some people, i'd argue the egg should show which one it is upon being found at least, so if its the wrong one you can choose to cancel the hunt and try again, resetting which Lati the game generates.

So, as stated, i'd agree with the second option or a spin on it being great. The people who spent millions hunting it aren't gonna lose their egg storages they can utilize for other troublesome hunts or a headstart to many of their others so ultimately they don't miss out on anything, and if they themselves want to, they can mention their shinies are obtained prior to the update and assign a sort of Legacy status to their own shinies.

I'm pretty sure what's happening is the users set it up for the lesser price, then edit it to their desired price solely to get notifications out there in some attempt to get people to buy them, so the notification goes out and then updates itself with the altered price, but as the notification process was already executed it doesnt have any code to rescind it outside of those items being purchased?

a minimum price for a shiny legendary should never fall below 40x their summon items value imho, so by that logic, a shiny Cosmog shouldn't be any less than 4million, the value of 40 nebula stones at 100k, on top of them being annoying tall grass hunt legendaries

All you can do is release them or keep them just to have them. They're not tradable because theyre rewards for completing your regional pokedex at least once, so theyre an accomplishment.

Regirock is unfortunately a near worthless legendary due to being the easiest to obtain of the Regi Trio and being plentiful en masse for users who are good at the tunnel via the Endless Path, it arguably isn't even capable of being considered worth nuggets due to that fact, but strictly speaking in value it's worth in PD equates to about 3 or 4 nuggets

I'm fully aware of the concept of a mega stone being worth more for the freedom of choice for who you mega evolve, but even so it makes little sense to me to have it be worth a significant amount less than a mega themselves as its basically a megable and a mega in one package that you can offer on should you need/want it. The stones have already dropped substantially in price which only further invalidates the argument in my eyes, so i'd still believe the mega should be at the least the value of a Mega Stone if you wanna split hairs like that, more if the megable in question is still somewhat valuable unlike Magikarp, Pidgey or other easy/medium rarities etc.

Yeah, so everyone who did that event has one and potentially got extra ones, but personally i dont see why that should lower the value of the mega itself because you still need to use them. It already lowered the value of mega stones alongside the gem cauldron update, and gave megable Elekid-Electivire a very low value to start with, so that's where that factor comes in imo. Even now Mega Stones struggle to sell for 300k in the auction house, being closer to about 250k im guessing, so a mega electivire would be like, 255k potentially, a Mega Stone + the lesser valued elekid-line price

megas really shouldnt be worth less than a mega stone though. their value should be megable + mega stone minimum

The broken image is the x2 multiplier image because the lovemeter was filled yesterday, only relation to shaymin is the interaction increase for shaymin caused it to fill up, it is not a shaymin itself or related to it in any other way, the link is just broken for some reason

Quote from RiakoHigher shiny chance
The chance of randomly hatching a Shiny Shaymin is drastically increased compared to regular Pokémon! I'd be really surprised if there wasn't at least one lucky trainer this year... maybe it's you?

Quote from CatLadyFull odds

shiny shaymin cant be full odds if the shiny chances are meant to be drastically increased????
