Teo lingered a while longer at Viridian Forest, examining the destruction and taking notes, interspersed with the occasional encounter with a wild Pokémon. After some time elapsed, he felt a tug and looked down to see Berry looking mournfully up at him. “Oh, you must be hungry, huh, buddy?”

He supposed he had lost track of time. The magnitude of the destruction was just so unusual for the area, though... he had to admit, he was very curious—not to mention a bit apprehensive—as to the cause. Teo returned Berry to his Poke Ball and trekked back to Viridian City, making sure to get a treat for his Pokémon. While Berry ate, he checked his map, confirming which path he needed to take. After the Bulbasaur was energized and ready to go, Teo and his partner Pokemon set off towards the detour to Pewter City, ready to face whatever trainers stood in their way.

Teo had followed along earlier, slightly bemused at the fact that their group was already coming into conflict with law enforcement. He stayed out of the battle, knowing that his Bulbasaur would have a difficult time against the two fire type Pokémon, but he trusted that the force of nature that was Marcia would get them through.

Taking in the damage to the forest, he let out a low whistle. “No wonder there are guards here.” Stepping closer to the crater to inspect the damage, he asked the others, “Do you know what caused this?”

	The images no longer link properly because Discord somewhat recently changed so that links to attachments expire after 24 hours, so it can't be used as an image host. Imgur should work fine, though. [Read more]

Teo settled in at the Pokémon Center, letting Berry rest in his Poke Ball. The Bulbasaur had only fought in a few battles during the trip across Route 1, but he appreciated a good snooze. Traveling with a group of trainers had been a new experience for Teo, but it was fun so far. He quietly observed the other trainers and Pokémon around him in the center as the windows grew darker with the evening.

Teo held his new Bulbasaur, now named Berry, in his arms, and watched as the little guy blinked sleepily at him, before he turned to face the others. "I don't know that my grass type will do very well against poison and bug type attacks, but I wouldn't mind getting in some training."

Noticing the newcomer, he decides to fill him in. "We were discussing whether or not to head to Viridian Forest to train our Pokemon. The professor says there's a Weedle infestation," he explained, balancing his dozing starter Pokemon in his hands as he spoke.

Backstory: Teo's mother is from Paldea, but he grew up in Pallet Town. His visits to Paldea sparked an interest in traveling in him, but he wanted to finish his schooling before starting his journey. Now that he's done with school, he's excited to travel and research Pokemon out in the wild.
Personality: Teo loves learning about history and investigating legendary Pokemon and historical events. His dream is to encounter every known legendary Pokemon. He is methodical in all that he does, and can be quiet at times.
Appearance: Teo is tall and lanky, with medium-length black hair that he usually keeps in a bun.
