Title: Chien-Pao Shiny Hunt PlanningHi Diary! Here's the first post documenting my Chien-Pao shiny hunt planning. I was debating on buying one year premium because you get 12 months for 8k nuggets versus 6 months for 4k nuggets, BUT, nuggets are very expensive nowadays. If the nugget price was what it used to be, I'd purchase the 8k nuggets premium option but that's not the case so yup. Hopefully Chien-Pao won't require gems because that would be a pain, a pain pain. Especially ice gems. Luckily, I have lots of PD to spare but I really dislike overspending. I'm kind of like a dragon when it comes to that, I like having lots of gold lol. My estimation is, if the summon mechanic turns out to be a summon item, it'll probably cost around half a million of PD when it comes out. I'll need to wait the prices out until they calm down and then I'll start buying them. For comparison, Necrozma quest item costed +800k PD on release while it costs anywhere between 120k to 200k right now (5 months later). I'd like to go for at least 150 eggs, 200 ideally. So if every summon item (if there will be any...) costs 150k PD, 200 of them should cost me 30mil PD. I'm really excited about this project as it'll be my first legendary shiny hunt. After I'm done with Chien-Pao, I'll start a Cosmog shiny hunt. I already have 123 Nebula Stones which I bought around two years ago(?) because their price plummeted and shiny Lunala is cool sooooo.....! Chien-Pao shiny hunt planning masterpost.

✨ 2021 Shiny Hunts ✨ <- 2020 || 2022 -> Prologue: "But Kety, it's almost 2024!" Yup yup straw man, that is indeed correct. As stated in the post above, I unfortunately wasn't able to keep up with shiny hunt compilation posts due to real life reasons. Better late than never I guess? So here's the well overdue 2021 shiny hunt compilation post. The other two should be up soon, give it a day or two max. Unlike the previous entries, this compilation will be in falling chronological order. The other posts imitated the real pokeheroes shiny history page which is in reverse chronological order. While updating the 2020 one, I found the old formatting somewhat confusing so I'm choosing to do it differently from now on. Title: BIG UPDATEIn medias res: I have a lot of catching up to do. It's the Christmas holidays and I've decided I'm gonna be working on my PH dairy because it's fun and nostalgic. I've started to update the first page but it's a massive work in progress. [1] update all shiny hunts up to December 2023  [2] mega project post on page one: Kanto shiny dex [3] mega project post on page one: future legendary shiny hunt Chien-Pao, hopefully it won't require gems ;-; [4] improve the shiny hunt masterlist (add clickable icons for each year) [5] add the long-awaited introduction post Ideally, I'd like to get points 1 through 4 over with until January 1st 2024. And yes I have better stuff to do than this but I'm so burnt out with studying that I just want to do something else for once. I haven't even noticed that the last yearly shiny hunt compilation post was in 2020 like sheeeeesh. Without getting into it too much, I wasn't feeling the best and so it just stacked and stacked. I tried to keep up with the event distributions and my shiny hunts but that was it. I always wanted to redecorate my page one but I never got to it... This year, I've been enjoying pokefarm a lot since I was never all that attached to it in the past and it was a new experience. So that too took away time that I'd usually spend on pokeheroes. Even though tasks 1 and 2 have a lot, and I mean a lot of copy pasting links and images which is extremely time consuming (I have 88 shiny hunts to add into three separate posts rip), I still believe that the 5th task will take a longer time to complete because I can't ever settle on a layout. To avoid that problem, I just didn't have a layout at all lol. The layout I'm imagining is something like my likes, what got me into pokemon, what I like to do on ph etc. The accompanying pictures in the introduction post would be either one of my two favourite characters, Mordred from Fate or Furina from Genshin, but I think I'll put both of them tbh. And as I said before, please Riako, I am begging you, don't make ruinous pokemon require gems pleaseeeee. Idk if I'll shiny hunt Chien-Pao if that's the case. I do have a lot of PD laying around and I have almost enough nuggets for a year's worth of premium. It's just really difficult to snipe cheap nuggets off of the item market because their price is so high oof. Long gone are the 1 nugget equals 1.5k PD days. [Read more] |

Congratulations! A shiny Nidoran (m) hatched out of one of your eggs (Chain #143)! This was a strategic shiny hunt as I need 3 of these fellas for my Kanto shiny dex. Sadly, I won't be able to squeeze three shiny Nidoran (F) in the one week time frame that we get with the free premium membership from the advent calendar, but I'm hoping for at least one more shiny Nidoran (M) with this free premium. 🎄Christmas 2023 Event Pokémon🎄 - You received two very rare eggs. Take good care of them! - ⠀⠀⠀ I was expecting Xerneas and Yveltal to be new event pokes. Xerneas' horns coated with Christmas lights, balls and other ornaments was the first thing that came to mind when I tried to think about a new Christmas event special. But turns out that the event specials are Latias and Latios! That should have been more obvious since from day one of the advent calendar we knew that we were getting two new event specials this yea but looks like I had forgotten about these two haha!
