Good mornin! Have been up and doodlin for a little bit, I've only got NekoScrub's ready right now but I'll be getting to everyone else soon!

Even though I'm supposed to be fast about this I do take extra care to make sure it's at least decent enough that you're not getting scammed lol ;;

Hello all! I have read your messages! Unfortunately, I will be unable to fulfill any requests immediately (today) but I should be able to pick back up tomorrow!

Why is this? I'm doing this as a quick little fun thing, and I happen to have a bit of a turbulent home life, plus it's a bit late for me. I do hope you forgive me for the delay ;;

I am not currently doing slots, but if I do find myself overwhelmed I may put off or deny requests. However I should be able to finish relatively fine given that these are supposed to be doodles and not hours worth of work.

@kittenbus I drew cat he was not easy to line (should I have just kept it all one tone? Maybe) I hope this is good enough kek

Man all these things are practice today lol usually my realistic pieces are something I sit down for not quick doodols

@TH30 do you have a reference of the pose you're thinking of? From the front is a little confusing of a descriptor I'd think of a cat showing the side of its body for a dipped down about to pounce type pose if that's what you're referring to

@Kizo I'm sorry it's not super clean! ;;; I did the lineart thinking I wasn't going to color so I scribbled with white instead of erasing which meant there were weird pixels everywhere after I changed my mind midway to include some rough coloring 😭
so there's the lined version and then my botched unfinished coloring lol

I know I said no color too I just thought hey first customer but if it's kinda ugly I understand if it's not to your liking kek

Also also! Not a style I'm used to! That was probably good for learning/practicing purposes if I think about it :O

Hello hello all! I've been wanting more items/PD so I've decided to open up this quick doodle shop!

I can doodle pretty much anything. Price is negotiable, but depending on the complexity of what you're asking I may ask for more or decide not to draw for you. This isn't ever to be rude! I'm just trying to keep things quick and easy, like fast food! haha :^)

Send me a message in the forum (I'm subscribed) and we can go from there! I'll include a template!

	Does this suggestion now technically count as implemented? Also thoughts on the latest patch? Anything that should be improved/changed? but I was just thinking last night how annoying it can be to see a blocked user's feeds

I'd like that to be an additional feature of the improved block system.

We did mention forum posts, that I did remember, so again for those too-
if they can't be removed due to some fault in the code/some difficulty or otherwise, could they possibly be censored or show up as a different thing?

(Such as a nice little pokemon picture that blocks the entire post)
That way it's not annoying to just have gaps in the forums and the feeds but is actually mildly funny/pleasant to look at?

Just a thought. We still have to think about the kids, and I know they might not be comfortable blocking another user that's bothered them for some reason or another so I think the feature should look friendly and not like a bad thing to scare em off (no bold red YOU BLOCKED THIS USER type stuff.)

Okay so here's my updated response:

I don't know the coding logistics on this but I think it's worth the time and painstaking effort to make this a feature that works for everyone, so if it becomes a customizable blocking system I wouldn't be against that but I'd like the default to be the most restricted setting.

Problem is that Riako may not want to code it/be able to/some other issue. I made a suggestion regarding safety and potentially adding more coders to the site for suggestions like this but it seems like it's just going to be rejected it's been sitting in limbo for a thousand years (a couple months)

He noted that this site runs on some ancient broken code so that's where it might be hard to do something more complex with it, but again if anything can be done it should be.

It might just be best to start off with a quick fix and then update it to include customization later. That means guests not being able to see your feeds and blocked users not being able to see most of the stuff on your profile. If we did it that way, the site could be safer sooner while also giving Riako more time to develop the feature.

I haven't read the new posts on this forum yet, but I'd like to call out these stats for a moment here-

I think some people are grossly misunderstanding what the blocking system should be about. (Also, one person thinks this is spam? Please.)

Just because someone personally may not have been harassed on this site before doesn't mean it's not a thing, for the people 'downvoting' a suggestion to improve the safety of this site either just can't be bothered to think critically about why this is important or are looking at this like it's not a big deal.

The reason I mention this is because sure there are plenty of 'fun' related suggestions that get highly rated but I think we really need to focus on updates such as these that protect the compromised users (namely children but anyone can fall victim to online harassment)

The block system is sort of a joke, and I think people may be taking it too lightly. If you're going to block someone, it should work like other sites where you stop interacting with them and cannot see anything even remotely personal about them.

I could go on about this, but I'm going to read what's above and then edit my post/add on to what I've said past this point.

Maybe not you, but that doesn't stop people from making vague posts about other users they've blocked with the intent of them seeing it and not being able to interact. I wasn't even talking about you specifically but again the blocking system shouldn't be a punishment to other users and instead a way to cut contact with them.

I don't see why people not being able to see your page would be such a big issue if you blocked them. If you're just going to unblock them whenever you wish to interact with them then I don't know what my stance is on that, I'd have to think about it.

Edit: I didn't fully articulate my thoughts on the "help" you'd be giving people. Honestly I don't see that as necessary anyone else can do the same and if they can't interact with your posts how helpful is it really it's not like they can ask for help from you if they need it.

Anyway, what need would people you've blocked have to view your profile and your feeds if they can't even interact with them? Sure maybe your PD count like said before but they don't need full access to your profile.

Honestly I don't think this should be one of those things where "I want a blocked person to see my feeds" or even make it an option because I feel almost like that's rude/disrespectful/purposely goading. A block should cut all contact, period. (In my opinion.)

I'd rather not even know that person exists than have to go through the annoyance of seeing them on the social page.

The block isn't a punishment for anyone to dish out to another user, it's for that user to cut contact with someone they don't get along with.

Also for the auction thing, I also feel that too isn't really that important. If a person doesn't want contact with you/doesn't want you viewing their page, they shouldn't have to let you see their page.

If you're logged out you count as a visitor so I guess that isn't as terrible but still if you're potentially bothering someone who blocked you that's not great.

If it's that important to be able to view someone's profile, maybe a very barebones panel for the user can show up and literally nothing else on their page.

Actually, what happens if you block a staff member? I assume they're exempt from the same restrictions because they need to be able to moderate, right? Just curious if we're hoping to modify the block system to be more strict, especially if the page essentially becomes invisible

I'm not suggesting doing that by the way 🤣 I was just thinking in cases of severe trouble makers trying to block all of the mods to avoid punishment
