Spins watched as Felix thought, the Riolu on his shoulder, mimicking him, and she couldn't help but feel...strange. Bad. She hadn't been able to perch on that shoulder since she'd evolved, but...he'd never let anybody else on that same shoulder since...

She couldn't let herself be bothered. Felix was going through a rough time and she needed to stay happy like always. She was his partner.

"I'll have to check with her to make sure but that sounds like a good idea," Felix nodded. "We all worked with Zacian and Zamazenta to beat Eternatus but as Champion she's the one who'll have the most luck with them."

Felix reached into his bag and pulled out the Poké Balls holding all his Pokémon, letting them out. "You guys just chill in the conservation area, okay? I'm gonna be hanging with Admin for a bit."

The Pokémon all nodded or spoke words of agreement before heading off, but one remained.

"Come on, Spins, go with the others."

"Cinder!" Spins shook her head, crossing her arms. Her trainer had been acting off all day, she wasn't gonna leave him alone.

"Look, I know I've been really serious today, but it was a serious situation!" Felix explained. "Once all this is over with I'll be back to normal, don't worry!"

The Cinderace nodded, but still refused to leave, and Felix gave up trying to convince her. "Hey Admin, can Spins hang around while we train?"
