The Distant Storm

The Akarinet Region, home to beautiful forests, vast fields, tall mountains, and its own spin on the classic Pokémon Gym Challenge trainers know and love. It is also home to what many call the Burst Phenomenon, where individuals, with the power of an object called a Burst Crystal, can fuse with the Pokémon within. Though only a select few are able to use this power as of now, since there are many rules and regulations in play and there is a long registration process for those who do wish to become Burst Warriors. About a week ago, a mysterious fog has fallen over the borders of the region, making it impossible for anyone to enter or exit. Many people have begun to speculate that the enigmatic Team Glyph is responsible for this fog, to ensure that no outsiders intrude upon their studies, but they have neither confirmed or denied this. What's more is that even more recently, strange "tourists" have begun to appear, despite the fog. Some of these tourists appear human, some look mostly human but with slight differences, some don't appear to be humans at all, and others seem to be... talking Pokémon??? Nevertheless, many of these "tourists" have arrived alongside Burst Crystals, despite the fact that these people are from outside the region and have not yet been officially registered as Burst Warriors...... Can these "tourists" find out the mystery of the fog?
