Jennifer protested, but only a little, especially when she saw Faith flash her fangs. "F-fine by me," she stuttered angrily, following Professor Mcgonggall, and keeping a clear distance from Faith.

Professor McGonagall led them to the dungeons, where Potions Master Horace Slughorn was waiting for them. “Ah, Minerva, excellent, excellent. Now….Jennifer, Faith, you’ll be helping me find and carefully pick herbs and other various items. We’ll meet back here in about an hour?” Faith grins “Of course, Professors”, before skipping off red-riding-hood style. Meanwhile, back in the castle, just above the Astronomy Tower, someone cried out in a rough voice “MORSMORDE”, and immediately afterwards, voices rippled throughout the school. “I know you seek to find those with the patronuses as the prophecy mentioned. By then you’ll be too late”

Upon hearing this, the professors immediately gather everyone in their respective common rooms, no questions asked, as Professor Sprout and Hagrid head out to find Jennifer and Faith. They soon found the latter, and Professor Sprout ushered her back to her dorm, while Hagrid went searching for Jennifer

Name: Faith-Lynn Ryder
Age: 17
Appearance: blue hair, sea blue with tinges of green. lavender purple eyes and a necklace around her neck
District: 3 (Technology)
Preferred Weapon of Choice: doesn’t mind any weapon, but seems to do particularly well with haladie blades.
Personality: She’s ambidextrous, and also super smart, even for someone from district 3. She’s kind and likes to smile a lot (more revealed later in the rp)
Strengths: trained assassin style, so amazing with fighting techniques, stealth and defence
Weaknesses: She’s not someone who likes to take the offensive side, and she doesn’t have good aim, so throwable weapons, bows and arrows and the like, well they don’t work well.

Her laugh is dark, and she smiles once more. “That’s to teach you not to mess with a freak monster’s friends. Dimitri, off to your next class. Just pay attention, this situation is between me and her” Her voice becomes a purr. “He’s not a freak, but I may be. And are you really so scared of such a cute sparrow?” She croons, stroking the ‘sparrow’ as it disappears.

Professor McGonagall appears from around the corner, and shouts “Students, move along there’s nothing to see here. Jennifer, Faith. Come here, you’ll be given detention.” Faith smiles and replies with a smooth “of course professor, before flashing two sharp fangs at Jennifer

Faith’s lips curl into a smile. It wasn’t the same as the one she gave Dimitri, this was far more sinister. “He’s not a freak. And yes, I am strange. Curiously so. In fact….” Faith’s eyes glow a literal black— just for a teensy moment and her head is tilted. She raises her wand strikes twice in the air, and a sparrow streaks towards Jennifer. The sparrow isn’t silvery white like a patronus though, it’s made of negative emotions. When the sparrow is treated nicely, it disappears, but if swatted at or worse, it provides the same feeling a dementor does. “A little spell of my own”

A hand stretches out towards Dimitri. “You look like you need help…now let’s see….” Faith waves her wand, and all the books are immediately swept up into a pile, ink free, looking brand new. She turns to Jennifer, smiling. “About you….I’ve arranged it with Professor McGonagall. After a lot of persuasion, she’s agreed to arrange a duelling club. I want you to be my partner. In simple words, I challenge you to a duel. It’s not very nice to nitpick others.”

Emily goes to the Room of Requirement, and practices her patronus casting. A beautiful dragon. Thankfully, no one knew about it yet. She hope no one would come in— no, she made sure no one could come in

	“That’s fine! And you should really try relaxing, it’s been proven to work. Not say like one whole day off, half a day off, but like maybe short ten min breaks in between. “It must be complicated. If you want I won’t ask further about it. Anyways, I don’t think you really do need to push yourself that hard. If you find an efficient method of studying, and put it to good use then you’ll be fine. Even some people who push themselves too much can fail. Trust me, relaxing every once in a while is beneficial. Besides , I don’t think it’s that drastic.” Faith advises. She smiles once more “I knew it. Why though?”

“No I don’t. And I did notice, that’s why I said you were trying to avoid Jennifer, because you managed to fail quite spectacularly. But on the other hand, I can’t seem to find a good reason as to why she would want to bother you so. And of course you’re overworking, that’s why you can’t sleep yet. For goodness sake, you’re being more hardworking than a Hufflepuff-Ravenclaw combined!” She sniggers at Dimitri’s attempt to hide the book. “I should have made myself clearer. Faith’s smile splits into a really really wide grin- not unlike the Cheshire Cat. She places the reticulated python
onto Dimitri, before hissing out in Parseltongue “ Be nice to him okay, Sparkles? Don’t bite him.” She then turns to Dimitri. “I’d assume you know how to hold a python. Besides, it’s pretty obvious you need cheering up. You’ve been very tired, and obviously avoiding what’s-her-name-again. Or at least you’re attempting to. Hey wait— is that a book on patronuses?”

Professor McGonagall looks just as worried as she once did when Voldemort tried breaching Hogwarts to find Harry Potter those ten years ago. “Very well, Suvansh. Do the best you can to find out who’s patronus has been included in the prophecy, then find a suitable time to gather and meet me in my study. Jules, thank you for reassuring the students. Perhaps you could help Suvansh? I fear the time has come where students will have to be escorted to classes once more. If many incidents occur consistently, we may have to shut the school down. Quidditch for now on…….” McGonagall sighs and pauses, thinking. “I’ll let it go on for now. No point striking so much fear into them now…not when…” She nods curtly to them, before turning to the rest still waiting in the Great Hall. “You are dismissed. Go straight to your common rooms or dormitories, please. It’s getting late. Classes will resume as usual, and I expect all of you to do your best. Exams are still going to take place.”

(Jules, Suvansh, you guys can assume a few days have passed, and you have rounded up the students, just indicate it in the posts you make. The rest of you, interact, go to class and do whatever you wish. Just respond if Suvansh or Jules talks to you about your patronus.)

Emily rolls her eyes. “A patronus charm is a defensive spell which produces a silver, animal guardian, used to protect a witch or wizard against Dementors. It does NOT summon animals to help you.” She explains to Sterling. “It can be any animal, and one’s patronus can change….if they’re going through something big. They are difficult to conjure, as they require a really happy memory.” She then turns back to Rayne, asking her. “D’you have a patronus yet?”

Faith laughs “Doesn’t mean anything? You’re quite literally the only person in this school with a swan patronus. You may not be want to be part of the prophecy, but the hat never lies. Oh and don’t listen to her. The Sorting Hat has never wrong.”

	Faith just looks very very confused. “Isn’t your patronus a swan?” She asked Dimitri. Meanwhile, Emily’s lips were pursed, as if she was sucking a sour lemon. Her patronus was a dragon. At least, she was pretty sure it was. But it had been a while since she last cast a patronus….Interesting. This year was going to be a whole lot more complicated than it should be. [Read more]

“Thanks! Oh— and that’s so, super, duper cute!! He’s gorgeous.” Emily gushes. Suddenly, McGonagall’s voice rings out, telling all students to gather in the Great Hall, immediately. Apparently, the prophecy had developed. The sorting hat was placed once more on its stool, and once all the students were gathered, it opened its brim once more.

A tiger, swan, dragon and eagle
A dove, bear, snake and leopard.
So I have said
And so I shall repeat myself
These patronuses produced by eight
Come from within our very school
But students, beware. For the very monster
The Rising Dark Lord
Shall too appear in our school.
There will be unpreventable deaths,
Injuries and more
Now even who emerges victorious
I’m no longer sure…..
