Eura held her wings closer to her and followed, nervousness making her tap her fingers on her leg. Making an escape will be easier if you know what you’re dealing with. She told herself, staying silent.

Eura sighed. “...You know. If they’re strong enough to actually fight or do any of that.”

This was pissing her off more and more, but she tried not to show it aside from the occasional angry twitch of her wings.

"A bioweapon against other humans?" Eura looked over curiously. "Or against the rest of our kind?"

"It's so screwed up," Eura shook her head, leaning her head back on the bedpost. Her horns hit the bed with an unsatisfying clunk. "I don't even see the point in all of this." Humans were insane, sure, but this was something she never dreamed they would do. What was the point? Did they want an army of angels and demons like Joshua and Chae? They have their armies. This is... Something else, I think.

"That makes sense... You said he--or, it's a family? Then, I guess it would be they. They were some of the first experiments," Eura mumbled. "Side effects, abuse... The whole nine yards, right?"

Slow metabolism. ...Illusions. Eura shrugged. She would show her abilities when it was necessary to. She was glad they were practical. Illusions were really just a tactic for survival.

"Indestructible tail..." She hummed. "I'm glad he found an outlet and everything. ...And I'm doubly glad that the humans didn't replicate it."

(No, but Eura isn't thinking that. It's easier for me as a writer to just use Taura's name instead of saying "that girl" over and over)

"Makes sense," Eura nodded, rubbing the back of her neck. "...But yikes. Maybe something a bit more soothing."

"...Yeah," Eura slowly nodded at Taura, a grin slowly growing on her face. "You're definitely right."

Okay, so Taura had already gotten farther than her in formulating a good plan. She didn't mind in the slightest. She was already sick of this room to some degree, but those marks. "Chae did those?" Eura lifted a hand and pointed to the marks in slight disbelief.

(Lunara I'm pretty sure eunoia doesn't want us to leave??)

Eura tossed the core of her apple into the trash bag and leaned against the bedpost, squeaking in surprise as Willow whipped the leg of the bed. "...They probably won't care, right? I mean, some of these beds look like crap," She pointed out.

Eura simply shrugged in response to Keita before looking at the apple with interest. "...Ah," She mumbled. "I see. However you get nutrients, I guess."

Eura just nodded in agreement with Joshua. "He's right you know. I wonder if someone else here tried that idea and it backfired..." She hummed, actually kind of curious. Panic made people go crazy, which was yet another reason she was still trying to feign this sense of peacefulness.

She looked at Willow. "...Not hungry?"

(A lot of talking, I think. A girl came in with a bag of food and dropped it, she came back later and took out Chae. Apparently, this group is next)

"You're going to explode the door. Alright..." Eura wrapped her wings around her slightly in case something went horribly wrong.

“Good way to die,” Eura mumbled, running a hand over the top of her wings. Her formulation of a plan wasn’t getting anywhere, but it rarely did. She just needed more information, she guessed.

Eura had nodded, content, as Chae ate. But now she twitched her wings nervously, remaining silent. Yeah. This seemed about right.

(I’ll be active-ish soon)

Eura looked over at Joshua and Chae. “...I saw a pack of crackers in there that didn’t look too bad,” She suggested. Eating seemed rather important. Besides, Chae looked frail enough as it was.

(Last post before I head out)

Eura did exactly what she thought she'd do; she ate an apple. It wasn't particularly crisp or juicy. In fact, it might have been one of the crappiest apples she's ever eaten. But she didn't mind. It was all she really needed.

Most demons had some sort of ability or quirk that helped them stand out and survive; hers (though minor) was slow metabolism. Something this small could last her for days without feeling truly famished. So, she bit into the soft, dingy apple and observed this little group, trying once more to formulate a plan. Teamwork was key.

Baby steps. Two of them almost killed each other a few minutes ago.

"She seemed nice. An apple is all I need to tide me over," Eura stretched, leaning on the bedpost. She wasn't really being nice about the thing with food, she legitimately didn't want it. She never was a huge fan of eating. She looked over to the two in the corner and frowned sympathetically.

Eura rubbed the back of her neck and dropped from the bunk, landing squarely on her feet. A fight had broken out. Lovely.

"Because of us. ...Can't say I'm not sorry," She shrugged. "Can't exactly think of a solution for that one."

"I'll say 'maybe' entails good odds," Eura decided, stretching. She couldn't help but wonder when the humans would show up. Aside from that knock on the door, they had been silent. She didn't like it.

"...I think you two are too close to be separated," She remarked, voice coming lower as though making a note to herself. "I wouldn't worry."

"We aren't going to--" Eura sat up a little more and bumped her horn on the ceiling. "Ow. Damn, hate these things..." She mumbled, holding it. She was not heroic in the slightest, but this whole thing was just pathetic. The only ones who knew what they were dealing with were Joshua and Chae, so they had every right to be pessimistic. But some of these people had to have some hope, right?
