After returning home, as usual, her parents were out somewhere, maybe they forgot she existed, maybe that’s a good thing, who knows. She made no movement to acknowledge him, however. Instead, she fished out a pair of silver keys and locked the door, before securing them in her pocket once more. As usual, Xuanji had her jet black hair down, along with her dishevelled looking uniform, which included trousers instead of the skirts that most of the girls wore. Xuanji hated skirts, they were uncomfortable and hard to move around in, in her eyes, trousers were just so much better. Apart from all the usual, she was wrapped in a large coat, too big for her, but the girl couldn’t care less. Like every other day, the air was stuffy, filled with whatever chemicals and particles the adults dumped into the atmosphere. The sky was greyish blue, the clouds shaped weirdly and a foggy haze surrounding almost everything near. But Xuanji couldn’t deny that it was sunny, despite her pessimistic personality. Firstly, she needed to get to the staff break room to fill up her empty cup of tea. The room was empty with no one in it. Which meant no socialising whatsoever and that was fine with her. After filling her amazing tea to the full, she headed out of the break room, while having a feeling that she had missed or needed to attend a meeting, but eh she didn't really worry about that, what was missed had been missed. cup of English breakfast tea, she got changed into her work clothes and went to make some breakfast. 2 Fried eggs, bacon and a piece of toast, with tea on the side. A perfect day if ZhaoXi hadn't been late. After scoffing down the food, she threw on a coat and exited her apartment, locking the door and slipping the key inside a pocket. If she hurried, she would either be right on time of 2 minutes late, how convenient. ZhaoXi cycled to work, because a car gets stuck in heavy traffic and walking is too much work for someone as lazy as herself, although she could use the exercise. The trip to the work building was smooth, generally speaking, that is. Was the price of missing 2 green lights for sips of tea was debatable. ZhaoXi glanced at her watch, she was late by three minutes, dammit. She sighed, accepting that as an inevitable thing in life and went over to her desk, which reminded her that she hasn't even introduced herself to her fellow colleagues.
