Nothing really. They're basically just fun and cute little collectibles you can send to your friends with nice messages.

Each dex completion is independent from the others so you don't need to have the previous dex completed to get the reward for completing one. So, after your swinub evolves and your Ho-Oh hatches, you should get the Johto dex completion provided that you own each pokemon for Johto at that moment.

(Additionally, dex completions won't be revoked after getting them if you trade one of your pokemon away or one evolves.)

If you're in pain, you should take breaks from interacting as pixels on a pokemon website are not worth sacrificing your health and well-being for. The event will last until July 31st so you still have over a week to collect the light balls you need so it's best you spread out your interacting and take multiple breaks. (Personally, I tend to make 500 interactions per hour to get the hourly Dream Points at the Dream World Shop. It's slow and chill progress, I reached 100 light balls today.)

Even if you aren't able to get enough light balls, the Yellow Forest quest/Pika event is a recurring event so you'd have a new opportunity to complete the event at some point in the future.

As far as I'm aware, the weather is random and the only way to "predict" it is checking the weather forecast that you can get to by clicking the current weather castform in the userbar. There you can see the three next weathers and when they'll change (according to the site time).

Yes, you need an arceus to use the azure flute and in order to get arceus, you need to complete your Sinnoh dex.

No, if you win, you lose the map and get a summon item for the legendary that you can use in the Ancient Cave to get an egg of that legendary.

@FANTASIIIA: You get an anniversary gift on your anniversary of joining the site each year (31st of July for you). No premium needed. You should get a notification on that anniversary notifying you of your eligibility with a link to this page where you can redeem an anniversary gift of your choice.

I'm under the impression that you can pick up unclaimed anniversary gifts even after your anniversary has passed, so if you've never claimed your anniversary gifts, you should be able to claim them from the above link. (Though I may be wrong.)

I think you need to bet and lose 1000 game chips on one flip of the coin to get the badge.

You actually just brought up a different suggestion I think would be great, ChibiTogepi. If blocking a person blocked them from seeing your contact links, that would probably hinder blocked users from following their blockers elsewhere. (And would probably make the blocker feel safer, having the people you block still be able to see all your stuff is not great.) You could post that as a new suggestion or bring it up in the already existing improve the blocking system suggestion.

For reporting a trade, I suppose the best way to do that would be to report the person who set up the trade from their profile and include a link to the trade in question in your report (and additionally a screenshot of it in case the person deletes the trade before a mod sees the report)?

The value of retro pokemon vary wildly because some of them are much easier to get than others. For example, a concentration retro like retro sentret is only worth about 100 pd according to the Market Insider while a retro like retro articuno that has not been obtainable for years goes for over 100k pd.

So if you're not sure on what a retro is worth when buying or selling one, it's advisable to check the Market Insider, check the sitewide frequency in the Pokedex to see how common the retro is, research if the retro is currently obtainable on site, and ask other users if you're not confident in being able to figure out a retro's worth by yourself.

The punching arm is the page where you can set up your battle team, You get access to it by buying the VS Seeker. The page right under the punching arm one is where you can challenge other users to battle that you also unlock by getting the VS Seeker. if you're not interested in trying out the simplified battling mechanics of PH, those two pages aren't a priority.

The other two pages adjacent to them are the Pokeradar and the Shadow Radar (for hunting shiny and shadow pokemon) and you predictably unlock them by buying the items with the same names. :b

By trainerlevel 25, you should have everything unlockable by trainerlevel unlocked. (Except for being able to get MissingNo eggs, that requires trainerlevel 30 and the 'quest' is located in this anniversary thread for when you reach level 30.) For leveling up, this wiki page should help you out.

So, the places that are still locked for you are locked because you haven't bought an item that grants you access. For example, you need to buy the Pokeradar and Egg Radar from the Item Shop to be able to access the Pokeradar and Tall Grass pages.

As for rumbling, your pokemon can find up to 3 more Explorer Bags on rumble missions and 2 more can be received by completing the first and second badge sets. (Here's the wiki page for rumbling if you need to find more answers.)

You can also find gems in mystery boxes, by spinning the Plus mode in the Golden Slot, by finding them randomly in the Royal Tunnel, and by sending people plushies at the Dream World Shop.

As for what I do daily:
-> Adopt eggs (usually for the purpose of a shiny hunt)
-> Interact (in varying amounts depending on the day and what's going on in PH, events unsurprisingly spike up my interaction stats)
-> Pick up honey and milk at Route 53
-> Resend my rumblers
-> Complete Dream World tasks to amass more Dream Points
-> Farm and cook at the Berrygarden while also checking the Bulletin Board tasks for any worth completing
-> Play the Shadow Radar in hopes of finding the last few shadows I'm still missing
-> Get my free daily Lottery ticket and play some games at the Game Center (Mainly Treasure Hunt and Concentration)
-> Set up some of my excess shiny hunt pokemon in the Auction House
-> Check the forum (especially the Help subforum) for some unanswered questions to share my PH wisdom :b

That depends on what your current situation is and what you're planning on doing in the near future.

Are you low on PD, have other purchases you want to make, and you're not planning on shiny hunting a hard rarity pokemon any time soon?
-> Not worth it (for now).

Do you have sufficient PD savings and are planning a hard rarity shiny hunt soon (or are already hunting a hard rarity pokemon)?
-> Worth it.

Since its whole function is to let you find hard rarity pokemon eggs in the Tall Grass, whether it's worth buying depends on if adopting hard rarity pokemon eggs is useful to you.

However, buying all the rarity chips for your Egg Radar eventually is worth it as it's a useful way to obtain specific pokemon eggs without a cost after the initial radar and chip purchases. (The Tall Grass is particularly helpful for some shiny hunts.) When it's worth it to buy specific chips is up to you, your current situation and goals though.

Like ~UmbreonLover~ said, we're kind of "automatically signed up" because there is no signing up. The event takes place on a Saturday every 4 weeks and you can participate during the 10 minute slots as you wish. You can make one interaction during a slot without noticing an SCS slot is even happening and you would have "participated."
