Binghe had been familiarizing himself with Ongreuktnm again, letting callused hands run over the familiar patterns. It was nice to have the item in his hands, the familiarity of it oddly satisifying. So entraced by it, Binghe didn't realized that someone had approached him and startled, raising his head before smiling politely at Faith. "From the Tanji around your neck, I assume you are Faith? It is an honor to be working with you." He said smoothly, getting up as well to bow but paused before holding out his hand to shake. From what he remembered from Tilly's explanation, Faith's Tanji held a bloody past and he was curious to know what kind of person would be wielding such a powerful yet dangerous object.

To his credit, Binghe didn't look at that shocked only smiling ruefully at Tilly before folding the paper up and tucking it away. Were people now not allowed the privacy of their own thoughts? No matter, what really mattered was getting a grasp on how the others worked and how to best us-ahem assist them and incorporate their own strengths into his strategy. Tilly surely should have had some kind of idea what Ongreuktnm's master would be like given it's duality but he would have to watch his thoughts more closely. Dangerous, but Binghe could live with that. It was boring if prey didn't at least fight back. Smoothing down imaginary creases in his jacket, he glanced around at the others gathered. There was only so much he could learn about others by being a passive presence so he first tackled the person with the biggest air of mystery around them.

Stepping up to a suave looking man sulking on the floor and refusing the refreshments, Binghe greeted Kahiri with a warm and inviting smile. "Hello there, sir. I couldn't help but notice you as I don't believe I have seen you during the previous introductions. Could you perhaps be the one that Miss Tilly mentioned, the one with the butterfly necklace? It is a honor to meet your acquaintance." He inquired jovially, staying a respectful distance apart yet making it clear that he was conversing with Kahiri.

Binghe eyed the food warily but gratefully took whatever was closest to him. It was a orb the size of a golf ball, flaming red and translucent as the liquid held within the capsule sloshed to and fro. Conscious of the company around him, Binghe delicately bit into the skin of the strange whatever it was before slipping the rest of it into his mouth discreetly. He immediately regretted it, however, when the liquid burned like liquor, alighting his mouth and throat as he swallowed painfully. But under the bitter spark of alcohol was a sweet balm that soothed over his scalded tongue. Despite the passive expression Binghe wore during the whole experience, only a light grimace and polite cough showing the sheer oddity of the food, he didn't mind it all that much. The sweetness was nice and made the whole experience more bearable in his opinion but definitely not on the top of his list of things that he would love to eat.

Brown eyes picked up the sight of a small loaf of bread. That was safe enough and Binghe took it, ripping off small pieces to eat delicately. Appearances were important after all and the teen took the time to cast his gaze over the assembled group and assess each person's way of presenting themself. After all, some people said that one can discern the character of others just through their eating habits. How greedy they were, what their preferences were, the nature of their upbringing, so much information tucked away into such a mundane activity.

Despite the humble taking of the staff with both hands and a grateful if a bit sheepish smile that graced Binghe's face, the child was in fact cursing Tilly quite loudly in his mind. She was a willy one, purposefully letting him go in order to humiliate him. It was the perfect chance for her to make an example of the words she had spoken and it was quite the successful example at that. Kneeling down, Binghe closed his eyes to focus on the staff as he ran a reverent hand over the wood. Each dip and curve in the wood carved in and the raised knobs were as familiar as the shape of his own body. Even the grain of wood was a comforting as running his hand through A-di's fur. Familiar, warm, and right. A feeling that Binghe didn't quite know how to deal with.

Again, he spun Ongreuktnm in his hands and wondered what kind of training would be needed to master both light and darkness. Being two-faced came naturally to him, an ever revolving mask painted black and white but never changed with the light shown to the world and a hidden darkness. How poetic, Binghe should take up literature classes. Gently tapping the butt of the staff against his palm, the shadows flickered for a moment, dancing and sliding to a tune only they could hear. They settled after the brief moment, unnoticed by Binghe himself as he listened in to what Tilly had to say.

Nodding in satisfaction, Binghe stood up and made to exit the shop. He would simply have to go to another jeweler to fulfill the Auntie's request. Preferably a shop that didn't sell weird magical artifacts and touted weird stuff about alien races. But the oddest thing happened. With each step that he took away from where he knew the staff was locked away in, the more his mind berated himself for letting such a familiar object go. He had to remind himself again and again that the object did not truly belong to him and that it was better to leave such ridiculous notions and daydreams up to those who were easily tricked. Wandering around town for a moment, Binghe couldn't quite keep his mind off the weird encounter. The image of Ongreuktnm and its intricate perfection was engraved in his mind like a piece of his heart that had finally come home. It was an odd feeling to have such thoughts about an item. In fact it was odd for Binghe to have such feelings about anything. The only thing that he could conceivably have such strong feelings about would be A-di and that was a very very adorable dog. Not a decorative stick.

Letting out a soundless shout of frustration towards the heavens for burdening him with such an unnecessary task, Binghe made up his mind to return to the jewelers store. This was ridiculous but Tilly was right in saying that he simply couldn't stand the idea of leaving Ongreuktnm in someone else's hands or even letting the staff stay locked up in the top shelf all alone. Cursing heaven and hell and back again for this, Binghe spun on his heel and marched towards the troublesome shop.

"Why it wounds me to hear that an esteemed lady such as yourself would dare think that I would use such an important artifact for a hound's plaything. Rest assured that A-di will not get his paws on such a treasure nor will it grace the top of woefully empty craniums." Binghe smiled, shaking his head forlornly as he lazily examining the supposedly amazing Tanji. Light and darkness, huh. Was this the heaven's way of laughing at him? Well, if anything it gave credence to Tilly's words that these weapons were specifically made for the owner. A light spin of the staff showed that it had perfect weight, the wood glimmering as it balancing on the thin precipice of his nail. It also felt right to hold the object as he snatched the rod and held it back out to Tilly. "So in order to preserve the sanctity of such an important object, I return it to your care, ma'am. A fool such as I am not worthy of holding such an object and will be on my humble way. Many thanks for humoring one such as I."

He willed his hand to let got of Ongreuktnm, peeling fingers away from the decorative stick, but for one reason or another his hands refused to listen to him. In fact it only gripped the weapon tighter as if sensing it's owners intent and protesting vehemently against it. A dark scowl passed over his face, contorting it in disgust for a moment before his expression returned to its former light air and sheepish smile. If his hands did not want to physically hand the item over that was no skin off Binghe's back. There were other ways around such troublesome matters so he turned his hand over, letting the staff simply rest palm up and offered back to Tilly.

So Qing Binghe was pretty sure he was in the wrong place. Now now, don't get all pissy and say how could he have possibly gotten it wrong, people made honest mistakes from time to time. Binghe was only human. The nice auntie down the street had wanted to buy some jewelry for her granddaughters eighth birthday but since she was elderly and getting up in her years, Binghe had gone in her stead to help her buy the gift. So how he got roped into some world saving plot involving jewelry of all things, he didn't know. But then again, it wasn't that odd for him to be caught up in others business so he quietly sat and listened, pretending to be thoughly invested. The Tanji that he had picked up was apparently called The Ongreuktnm but Binghe couldn't see anything special about it. Just like everything else in the shop it looked like any other commonplace stick that could be lost among hundreds of it's kind. Sure it had nice designs that would probably make it worth stealing but in the end there was nothing special about the staff. No point in dwelling too much on it, though. He would return it in due time and leave this matter to other more noble idiots who believed they could save the world. Binghe had no interest in doing that sort of thing.

Name: Qing Binghe
Gender: Male (He/Him)
Tanji: The Ongreuktnm
Appearance: For his age, Binghe is quite tall as he stands at 188cm. Outside of that, he is largely unremarkable, with a plain face and straight black hair. He prefers soft and unassuming clothing, light greens and soft blue hues being he go too shades of color. Simply another person you would meet on the streets and forget just as quickly.
Personality: If you ask anyone, they would say that Binghe is the nicest (and potentially the most naive) person out there, always willing to listen to others and offering comforting words. His charisma instantly takes people in and paired with his unassuming appearance, creates the image of a innocent young man. But nice does not equate to kind. In reality, Binghe like his namesake is a frozen river who really doesn't care about those he has no interest in. He holds very little regard for human life and even less for those who have wronged him. He is petty, spiteful, and bitter; hiding such emotions behind the mask of a kind and helpful youngster to manipulate others into doing his bidding. It isn't because he is ashamed of such emotions that he hides them, however, he simply acknowledges that life would be much harder if he outwardly expressed his disdain. After all, living a seemingly fulfilling life full of brightness is the best way to spite those who have wronged him.
Pets/Objects they carry around: A paper fan. He doesn't use it to fan himself but instead bonks people over the head with it. He has a small Pomeranian by the name of A-di
Others: Has a bit of a soft spot for sweets, especially baked apple roses

Glaring at the waters, Ibaraki let out another snarl and sat down firmly by the shore staring intensely at where Ace had disappeared. It was clear that the child didn't trust whatever had thrown the intruder around to properly kill Ace. The lack of a canon supported that theory and Ibaraki didn't want to see that weird tribute ever again. While the beholders distinct lack of humanity didn't phase the child, if anything it would convince Ibaraki to trust the other more, it was the way that Ace carried himself that simply rubbed Ibaraki the wrong way. So unless there was definitive proof that the tribute wouldn't bother Ibaraki's allies, the child would continue to sit watch and keep vigil for any other threats.

Ibaraki's growls only grew, chest rumbling as the child inched forward to take a closer look at the image before it disappeared before any good look could be taken. This weird person's words made no sense but so much sense at the same time. This was not where Ibaraki should be. Really, Ibaraki should be with Cree and not with these weird tributes that the child didn't even remember most of the names of. But still, Tayla was someone Ibaraki tentatively had an alliance with so it would just be rude to leave her behind.

With Cree not present, the only other person that Ibaraki could trust was Tayla and so the moment she got up, Ibaraki followed with small feet hurrying after her. Due to the difference in their size, Ibaraki lagged behind but that turned out to be a saving grace when Ace suddenly attacked, making the child freeze. But when the small moment of shock passed, anger replaced it and Ibaraki snarled at the newcomer, staying a safe distance away from the pair yet ready to jump in if the situation called for it.

Although he frowned, Sou accepted what Favonius said to be truth. Certainly all that the general had said made sense to him and some of Sou's own experiences where all the evidence he needed. But those same experiences gave contrary evidence. He knew the people of the town to be nice enough to take pity on a servant boy so why would they reject that kindness of the Queen? People were weird. Shelving that conversation for a latter date to mull over, Sou quickly changed the subject. "Who's the Serpent King's heir?" He asked, never having heard that particular name before

Character Name: Faust
Age: 17
Appearance: Despite bland and boring looks, no one can quite tell what gender Faust is at a glance. A slim jaw, small and petite figure, as well as meticulously maintained strands of silky black hair speak of a young lady fresh out of puberty. But the flat chest, strong build hidden under deceptively loose clothing, and a tenor rumble point to the opposite. It doesn't help that Faust's hair is pulled up into a hairdo that only blurs the line even more, chin length tresses tied up in a half ponytail. Brown eyes only light up on amusement whenever asked, eyelashes fluttering coyly to raise more questions than it answers.
Personality: Faust is, for the lack of a better word, a character. Loyal and steadfast, there is little that Faust won't do if the situation calls for it. Very little emotions ever play on the teen's face and words are a rarity leading to some writing Faust off as a robot. In reality Faust is just like any other person and is wholeheartedly devoted to any cause deemed noble, delighting in teasing others. Perhaps the teen's favourite joke is making others guess which pronouns to use, the confusion that people wear whenever they first meet being Faust's favourite expression. To put it simply, Faust is a sleeper agent of chaos despite appearing to be a stick in the mud.
Other: Faust does had a gender. Whether or not its revealed...

"But Her Majesty is the Queen now." He mumbled, confused. "Even if she's a witch, she's still the Queen. Everyone loved the King so why don't they love the Queen? She seems nice enough... And I thought it was really cool when she turned you into a human, sir! Of course you look very pretty as a snake but it was really really impressive of Her Majesty to do that. She's really strong, isn't she, sir." His rambling thoughts were doing figure eights, never really staying on one subject for too long before leaping to another idea. Truly as much of a child mentally as he was physically.

Sou had never before seen the town so quiet. Usually when the boy went out on chores, the courtyard would be bright and lively, with shoppers milling around and merchants hawking their wares. But here Sou could scream at the top of his lungs and the only sound that would reply would be the low clopping of hooves on cobblestone streets and the echo of his own voice. Even the kindly old grandma who would always without fail give Sou a withered and dry yet no less delicious apple each time he came was no where in sight. A deep frown marred the child's usually cheerful face as he leaned to get a better look of his surroundings very nearly falling off the horse. "Where is everyone?" He voiced innocently, not quite understanding why when at such a peak time of the day there would be so little people.

Ibaraki had squirreled away under a corner, head tucked between trembling legs and sole arm covering exposed nape. The moment it was over, the child's eyes darted around trying to see what was going on. An earthquake was something that the child hadn't experienced before nor trained to keep safe in. Ibaraki had simply been staying the the corner that the child had claimed ever since the house had been built and stayed there simply watching. Just from observations, the group didn't seem terrible but the child was still reluctant to join them. In the end, they were all enemies. There could only be one winner and Ibaraki didn't want to be caught unawares when it was finally the child's turn to go.

The moment it stopped, Molly poked his head into the room from where he had pressed himself against the door frame. "Is everyone okay?" He called, ready to preform any first aid if needed.

@~Fahrenheit~

Many thanks for the codes!!

I'm most likely a mix between Hydro and Geo which is super interesting. I think getting a Geo vision would be what I'd want the most but Hydro aligns a lot more with my personality :p

In other news, I am now an official Kazuha haver and he is so so fun to play with. He's been especially helpful for gathering in enemies right after I stagger them with Zhongli's shield. I unfortunately hit hard pity at exactly 98 summons but I'm still happy with what I have!

I'm now saving for either Albedo re-run or any Inazuma characters that catch my eye! Hopefully some interesting Geo characters are introduced because I have a raging bias towards Geo if no one could tell :p

Not bothering to help, Ibaraki shuffled towards the sea's edge. Crouching down, the child kicked off useless shoes and dipped clawed toes into the salty water. A small cough bubbled up followed by another, the spit tasting distinctly salty. Really, the child was only waiting for Cree and following the other tribute around. Doing anything else just seemed much too risky and Ibaraki definitely didn't trust anyone else. Tayla maybe but to trust so many people was just asking for too much. The differences between them and the child were simply too much and Ibaraki couldn't trust someone that the child couldn't predict. It was just too risky. So Ibaraki stuck with what was trustworthy, waiting for Cree to emerge.
