To The One who is set to Command the Nightless Coven,

For all the formality our family holds in high esteem and the heavy expectations on your shoulders, know that in our hearts we are naught but young podlings who have yet to truly come into ourselves. Even as I write, the sea mourns your presence and yearns to hold you in her hands again. Mother disapproves but she has never heard the siren call of our home and thus should be excused for her manners. Her home is in the darkened skies after all. Father too has grown used to turning a deaf ear to the waves that beckon him home but I still belive that you hold true to our solemn promise. But fret not, esteemed elder sibling of mine, for all of us will grow accustomed to the ever shifting hole that you occupy in our lives. Take the time to learn about those who are not like us, the moon shifters, the sky walkers, the allseeing and the sea singers. School is a wonderful opportunity to knew new people. I know of your shy nature and implore sibling dearest to reach out to those unlike us. They will be better friends than you nor I could ever anticipate.

Stay safe for you are still our mother's beloved heir. She may never see you as I do but this is a chance for you to shed the skin of a well bred ruler and simply be yourself. No one will judge you, this I promise. Do keep up correspondence, however. I am well aware that my esteemed sibling neglects to inform us of ongoings that occur that may be of utmost importance. At the very least, Mother will be very cross with you. Perhaps her anger will spur you into action where my words can not.

Your loving family still,
The One who Sings of Sorrow

How quaint, that his sister still speaks so formally even in written prose. Though Haruto himself still stuck with his upbringing's rules on speech and propriety, he at least was relaxed enough to address his letters casually. Picking up a pen, Haruto went to work, scratching out the opening lines of "To The One who Parts Raging Seas....

By the time he had finished writing up his letter, the noise outside his door had died down and he assumed that those he shared a space with had settled down, their rooms and luggage set up for the foreseeable future. Opening the window, Haruto crumpled up the letter in one hand before blowing over it. Dust tumbled out of the cracks in his hold and scattered into the wind the moment he released his tightly clenched hand. With the letter sent, Haruto turned to wander the halls, looking around the place. He wished to familiar himself with the area and have control over his new living area. Knowing which hallways led to where and which doors held rooming students was something that Haruto wanted to know, the feeling of having control over his surroundings settling around his shoulders like a safety blanket. As he wandered, he could hear one particular dorm room close to his own filled with warm conversations.

Alaparos couldn't help but wholeheartedly agree. Being someone that other people could look up to was a warm feeling that he couldn't wait to experience. He too wanted to be the type of mentor his younger self sorely needed, perhaps as a small grace to his past self. "I share the same sentiment. It would be lovely to be role models for the young ones." Oh dear, if only his younger self could hear him now. Younger ones, as if he wasn't only a year or two older than the rest. How embarrassing.

Thankfully he was saved when they finally arrived at the kitchens and a hand came up to trace the inscriptions on the door. It was a pretty piece of decoration that to Alaparos was the threshold welcoming him to a home away from home. "But before any baking can be done, wash up. Keep your sleeves back and make sure your hair is clipped back. Though I don't suppose that would be a problem for you." He instructed, a teasing glance at the nest of hair clips nestled in Meka's hair especially pointed. Alparos himself had to comply by his own words, however, pushing up the sleeves of his sweater up to his elbows and wrangling wavy blond locks into a low bun.

"I'm fine with any room. I don't mind sharing. Or the couch." Came the hesitant signing, and for the most part it was true. The couches in this opulent house looked super comfortable and Song BingLiu reckoned that both he and someone else could fit comfortably on the larger ones. Even the smaller couches were massive by his standards and if this was what a common space looked like, he almost dreaded looking at the rooms. A part of himself was scared that the beds would be too soft for him to sleep, much too used to second hand mattresses that he shared with family. Really, this whole arrangement was a brand new experience for him and he was starting to sympathize with Dorothy. He wasn't in Kansas anymore. But he had friends to help him, a part of his mind reminded him and only a quick look forward confirmed that. Like Dorothy, Song BingLiu hoped that he would grow to love this Land of Oz.

The moment the bell rang, Haruto was out of his chair. Sweeping past a gaggle of gossiping students, he marched towards his own dorms paying no mind to them. 25B was blessedly quiet as he closed he door behind him, letting the silence wash over him. There was a four poster bed on one side, black out curtains framing the windows. The room itself was sparse with a utilitarian work desk on one side, large enough to fit not only a wealth of textbooks but also his laptop and writing set. Accompanying it was a simple beanbag chair and soft plush rug. Fairy lights were strung up around the room and a set of hanging bars were installed to the ceiling. It was simple, yet it was everything that Haruto would need. He found the idea of wishes slightly unsightly, preferring to work for what he needed, but set that aside for now.

Working quickly, Haruto drew all the curtains shut and locked all the doors, making sure that it was damaged near impossible to even catch a glimpse of the ongoing inside the room. When he was satisfied that no one would be spying on him, he began to unpack. Gingerly, he set down his luggage and opened up his most sacred treasure. There, nestled in between clothes and bedding, cushioned between soft silks and heavy down was a box of willow wood. Carved depictions of a colony of bats flying over a cliff overseeing the raging sea and the Liu family crest were emblazoned on the surface of the wood and the edges were lined with obsidian. It was a beauty, costing well over a fortune to produce. With a sweep of the finger over the crest, the box unlocked with a sharp pinch on his finger and a dull click.

Inside was a stack of letters. All written by his darling sister and tucked away into the soft pkush velvet which lined he case. To Haruto, those letters were the most precious thing in the box, the luscious bat pelt which the case was meant to contain a insignificant pile of mud in comparison. Holding the letters close, Haruto pucked out the envelope labeled Day 1 and locked the case again. Sitting down at the desk, Haruto carefully opened the fragile package, careful to not damage anything, before beginning to read.

Haruto swept into the room like a spring cold snap, suddenly and powerfully, chilling all who watched him to the bone. His leather coat sat heavily on his shoulders and swayed with the force employed while the teenager stormed through the hall. It was more than obvious enough, if not by how he carried himself, but from the luxurious cloth that his dark clothes were cut off screamed of the pride of a heir to old money. Perhaps that was a bit mean, the Liu clan still ran multiple perfumeries and cosmetic brands, but what was true was that Haruto held himself like a young heir should. Back straight, shoulders squared, eyes glaring. His impassive face and chilly aura was enough to dissuade anyone from approaching him. No matter, Haruto wasn't looking to make friends. He just needed to get through the hell known as schooling. Everyone else was just another stepping stone for his goals.

Alaparos could only throw back his head and laugh, clear and loud at Meka's words. Somehow, his simple jests and comfort had easily dispelled the unpleasant cold that always fogged his mind whenever he thought of the estate.
"I agree, it is nice to be here again. But as second years, it's inevitable that we think to what comes after." It was a shame that next year he would have to leave the place that had served as his only home and return to a gilded ostentatious prison, but he was determined to enjoy his final year as much as he could. "Though I am quite lost on what a guinea pig would sound like. But I will be satisfied with happy smiles and full bellies."
And he would. What had first started as a way to stave off boredom and tidy up his lonely space had turned into something that gave joy to others. It was a fulfilling feeling, seeing how his method of keeping sane was turned into a genuine hobby.

Song BingLiu trailed after his new friends, eyes darting around the magnificent house. He was pretty sure that the entire room itself had furniture that cost enough to buy a whole new home and the opulence of the new world he had stepped into was almost enough to make him want to back out. The room itself was spacious and grand yet not gaudy despite the amount of wealth visible in the throw pillows and decorations and it made his head spin slightly. But still, he squared his metaphorical shoulders and waved shyly to the new people in the room. They seemed nice, with the blue haired girl extending perfunctory greetings having an imposing yet reliable air around her. Song BingLiu wanted to think that she would be nice too but he was much too busy trying to orient himself after the whole whirlwind of emotions raging within himself to pay much mind to his other thoughts.

"That's understandable. I just thought I saw Alyssia in the hallways but perhaps it was just a trick of the light." He mused, much too focused on the repetitive motion of pushing his KSL to notice Meka's wandering mind. He too had let his thoughts stray, attempting to recollect what kinds of treats people were partial to. He couldn't quite remember who was the one with a sweet tooth and who enjoyed plain oatmeal cookies but then again, some of his memories may be muddled with seniors who have already graduated.

He was drawn out of his musings by the question and his easy smile drew wane at the reminder. "It was nice to see family again." He said cordially and if his next push forward was a bit more forceful than necessary then that was information that was relevant neither here nor there. "I suppose like you, though, the break wasn't quite the release the staff here were hoping for us." While Alaparos wouldn't describe his home life as difficult per say, it certainly wasn't as pleasant as he would like. The winding empty halls of his ancestral mansion were stifling and unwelcoming even when parties were in full swing, a cold indifference blanketing the lonely South Wing that Alaparos stayed in whenever he returned to the stagnant house. In his mind, Stella House was more of a house than the Papadopoulos Family Estate could ever be. "Ah, but it wasn't all terrible. I did get to catch up on leisure reading and I learned a few new recipes. Perhaps if we have time, I can ask you to be a guinea pig for them? I'm afraid no one back at the estate was willing enough."

♓︎ Sσɳɠ BιɳɠLιυ ♓︎

There was a bit of shuffling to be done in order for Song BingLiu to successfully grab and open his own package and the sound of tittering birdsong was enough to signal to the others that he too, was in Stella House. A part of him questioned the authenticity of such a placement though. He wasn't anything spectacular and he had talked during the selection process so perhaps that had unfairly skewed the results in his favour? But all such thoughts were promptly discarded for happily trailing after his new friends like an excitable puppy, much too ecstatic to give any negativity the time of day to fester and gnaw away at his consciousness. Not only had he made it into a prestigious University, he had also made it into the dorm reserved for the dorm reserved for the best of the best. And he had friends in the same dorm as him! It was almost impossible to erase the beaming smile off his face. "How about we all go explore the dorm together?" He asked, hands stumbling in his excitement. "We can also put our luggage down and explore the grounds after."

Meng could only roll her eyes at their arguing before gently coaxing her trainer up on his feet before leading her to a more spacious room to recuperate. She also unabashedly swipped his pokeballs, coaxing Yuan to slither up and settle around her shoulders. Her younger sister was too cute and simply cooed in worry over their master as Meng stalked towards the cafeteria. Someone had to prevent those uppity princesses from tearing each other apart with poison and fire. Besides. She was going to be a part of the initial party and she wouldn't let anyone else tell her otherwise. "Ladies please. Keep your complements to yourself." She muttered, voice dripping with sarcasm as she caught up with them

"Whatever we decide to do," Meng interrupted loudly, ears lashing in annoyance as Amaris burrowed further into her fur, "can we move to a more spacious area?" A meaningful glance around the quite crowded room was given. It indeed was quite cramped, children, pokemon, and trainers alike squeezed into the small room. Her words had truth to them but anyone could see that her real reason for speaking out was her trainer who's soft gasping breaths were inaudible to anyone yet was painfully obvious to Meng. "Antagonizing each other will get us no where. Let's find a better area to talk, cool off, and resume our planning. For something like this, we need rational minds. Not quarreling ones."

Meng reluctantly raised a paw. "I'm the fastest member of my family. I know how to get in and out quickly without getting noticed." She offered, though her voice was bitter. It was clear to anyone that Meng didn't want to get too involved in such matters, not without her master's consent beforehand, but this group didn't seem to be deterred in the slightest. If she couldn't stop them, then the next best option would be to keep them as safe as possible. She was also itching to get moving again, the time spent cramped in bunkers and underground tunnels making her antsy and agitated. She hid it well though, letting her master sooth her with regular grooming and exercise, but to breath fresh air again would be a sorely needed treat.

Alaparos was more than a bit embarrassed to realize that he had indeed forgotten and failed to notice that Meka was still carrying around his luggage and quickly waved the other off to go put it away. Alaparos himself didn't usually bring much luggage with him, most of his life packed away into the admittedly quite expensive wheelchair that he lived out of. Just changes of clothes, money, and other personal belonging were squirreled away into a singular nondescript hard case luggage bag and tucked under an immaculately made bed were all the evidence that Alaparos had a life outside of the school.

While Meka ran to put his belongings away, Alaparos gazed out the window to observe the milling students once more. It was intriguing to see how students would group together unconsciously drawn to people of similar temperaments or group together into small cliques. Fidgeting with the gloves on his hands, Alaparos tightened the Velcro around his wrist but rolled it loose in matter of seconds only to turn his attention to the blanket spread across his lap, gently brushing off invisible creases and straightening out the edges. Meka did come back sooner than expected rousing the other of his mindless tidying, however, a pleasant surprise as he beamed at his yearmate. "Welcome back. No one else was in the dorms?" He guessed, beginning to move towards the kitchens. Briefly remembering the blue haired girl that he had seen in the hallways, Alaparos supposed that he was simply seeing things. Meka would probably realize that another person was in the room so he cast aside the speculation that the blue haired girl was Alyssa.

No one could blame Song BingLiu for nearly bursting into tears right where he stood. Not just one but both of his new friends (if they could be called that. Song BingLiu didn't want to impose) were okay with him signing. And they could understand it too! He shifted all his bag's weight onto one arm and harshly pinched himself with the other. The eye watering pain was more than enough to prove that this wasn't just some fever dream conjured up by his lonely mind to give him some mercy while he slept at the back of a much too old car. "Thank you so much. I'm really happy to meet you guys! Not many know sign." Was his signed reply, much slower than he would normally do in order to accommodate Lyra's skill level. This was more than he could ever hope for, especially since his hands were a bit full and he couldn't exactly write anything out with both hands full of duffel bag and with a turtle enclosure hanging off a shoulder strap. Speaking of the enclosure, however, he hoped that his Wood Turtle was doing okay while being gently jostled throughout the move. Taking the chance, Song BingLiu gently cradled the covered tank and adjusted its placement to better keep an eye on it. "What dorms are you two staying at?" He ventured, wanting to at least know where to visit them during their free time. It would be fun and they could even help each other in classes and such.

Alaparos' soft smile at Meka's words turned somewhat sad at his next ones. "I'm sure you would all manage. In fact, I believe you would all be a little bit more responsible without me. I spoil you all too much." He teased gently, brushing off the praise with a soft pat on Meka's elbow, the closest he could get to a friendly punch on the other on the shoulder. Providing a clean space for them to simply rest in at the end of the day was the least that he could do. Stella House had given him a place to call home and keeping it clean and tidy was such a small thing to do in return. It didn't even cover half of the gratitude that he felt towards the space. It saddened him slightly that in his state, there wasn't much he could do to give back but if those who shared the space with him found use within his meager offering, then Alaparos would simply continue as he had, making it a home for all who stepped past the threshold. He supposed he was doing a good enough job if people were praising him for it though.

"But I wouldn't say no to an extra pair of hands. Its always a pleasure to work with you." He assured, pleased to be spending more time with Meka. Baking was always more fun with someone by his side and he could even get some input on icing designs while Meka was there. Idly, Alaparos wondered what else Meka would like as a thank you for accompanying him and put that thought on the back burner in favor of pushing himself towards the kitchens.

Soliel. Her name was as bright as her personality and Song BingLiu couldn't help the grin on his face at the news that she also knew sign. It was new, to meet someone who he could talk to. And to top it all off, Soliel thought that his voice was pretty! He could almost cry at the whiplash of emotions that he was experiencing, euphoria and anticipation warring within his mind. Coming to this school was already turning out to be such an amazing blessing, he failed to see how this was anything but a particularly beautiful dream. "T-thank you!" He squeaked out, though that in itself sounded like an entire orchestra's harmonic tuning. "It means a lot to me" He signed instead, mortified by the cracking of his voice.

To be fair, most of Song BingLiu's luggage were music instruments, most of them small woodwind and brass instruments packed away into a duffel bag. The largest he had was a euphonium which he dragged behind him in a heavy black case and his belonging were concisely packed into a heavy looking backpack. Really, it was his insistence of clutching his duffel bag close that made it hard for him to maneuver around so in response to Soliel's offer, he only shook his head with a grateful smile. He could manage. Probably. If there were stairs though that might be a bit of a problem...

His laugh was slightly sheepish as Alaparos unabashedly did a once over of Meka's appearance. "You know me. I did the best I could." He said understandingly. From what he could tell, Meka had been staying relatively healthy over the break though he would probably get a clearer idea over the next week or so. His yearmates were His and it was his duty to keep them well fed and healthy. The thought of having new dorm mates to also take under his proverbial wing was an exciting one as well. He couldn't wait to meet them and it was visible in the easy yet genuine smile that settled softly on his face. But first would come the pampering of his current wards.

"I was just going down to the student kitchens to bake some cookies. They should be empty at the moment so it would be a quiet place to just do our own thing or even catch up." He offered, vuagely remembering that Meka always seemed to appreciate the cuter designs he would pipe onto sweets. He wasn't too sure about that though, having only caught split second expressions that seemed to connote it, so his questioning tone was genuine.

♓︎ Sσɳɠ BιɳɠLιυ ♓︎

The moment Soliel stepped in, Song BingLiu's face seemed to crumple into relief, nodding along frantically to what his savior was saying. The moment the phone was taken back and Lyra's true personality coming to light though seemed to be the breaking point however, and his whole face cleared into a beaming smile. His hands moved quickly to sign, apologies and an explanation spelled out with dexterous slender fingers. But even with his signing, he knew that they wouldn't understand a word of what he just said and nervously opened his mouth. "Apologies. I'm Song BingLiu. Pleasure to meet you." His melodious voice hummed, short phrases enough to draw the two's attention to him. He didn't dare say more in fear that they may actually be compelled to become his friends, a disingenuous relationship built on a talent even Song BingLiu didn't quite understand. But he did want to befriend the two as they didn't seem to mind the fact that he didn't talk very much. He loathed to remember the instances where he had been wrong but he liked to give others the benefit of the doubt. Turning expectantly towards Soliel, his sparkling eyes spoke for itself in his desire to at least learn her name.

♉︎ 𝔸𝕝𝕒𝕡𝕒𝕣𝕠𝕤 ℙ𝕒𝕡𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕡𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕠𝕤 ♉︎

It was supposed to be a simple trip down to the kitchens but of course there would be more people coming into the main building to look for their dorms. Gently easing the heavy door to Stella House close behind him, Alaparos ignored the curious gazes that followed him down the corridor, the heavy gazes something he had grown used to. He didn't mind it all that much but it was certainly disheartening to see others underestimating and putting him down because of his mobility needs. A few students even asked if he needed assistance and those, while coming from a good place, irked him to no end. On his way down, he thought he saw a familiar face but quickly discarded the idea. Alyssa didn't have vibrant blue hair. Or well, she could if she still dyed her hair as frequently as he remembered, but it didn't really matter. The blue haired girl was heading towards the dorms anyways so if it was indeed Alyssa then they would be meeting again soon enough. But it seemed that fate would happily throw Alaparos into another social situation for down the hall, slumped against a window sill, was yet another familiar face. For a moment, he wondered what Meka was doing before dismissing that thought. what others did was none of his business. Instead he simply rolled up to Meka, sympathetically leaning against the ledge as well. "Rough first day?" He ventured

When the girl still didn't move, Song BingLiu began to fidget nervously wondering if she expected them to say anything. Did she expect him to verbally apologize? Was she looking to humiliate him just by watching him hold her phone out? He really didn't know and frankly was a bit terrified of the answer. Looking around frantically, he caught the eye of a long black haired student looking on. Trembling, Song BingLiu hoped frantically that his wide eyed terrified gaze would adequately broadcast the sheer amount of "PLEASE HELP ME FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING GOOD AND HOLY I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IM SUPPOSED TO DO" energy that he was feeling. Someone please help, he was much too terrified of the frozen unimpressed stare leveled towards him by the red haired girl. Even if his hands were free, Song BingLiu didn't know if he could even sign an apology legibly with the amount of shaking that he was doing.

♉︎ 𝔸𝕝𝕒𝕡𝕒𝕣𝕠𝕤 ℙ𝕒𝕡𝕒𝕕𝕠𝕡𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕠𝕤 ♉︎

While the start of the school year was chaotic for most, Alaparos found it almost therapeutic. Squirled away at the top of Stella House, he quietly rolled himself forward to clean at the multiple awnings and craneys that littered the dormitory. His specialized tools from the previous year were still where he left them, specially cut down to fit his needs. They had been a welcoming gift from a senior who had already graduated and Alaparos treasured them greatly. The dormitories have accumulated a lot of dust over the break and Alaparos was determined to restore it to it's shimmering glory and keep it clean. Perhaps a nice warm meal prepared for the incoming first years as well, a welcome gift to keep them happy and full. A feast of homely foods and overflowing tables would be a nice surprise though might be a bit unneeded given the welcoming dinner later in the day, he thinks as the windows were meticulously wiped clean of accumulated grime. He had been at it for a few hours now, having started working from the moment he arrived. The dorm held memories that he treasured, memories of a place that he could find comfort in. Cracking out the newly cleaned windows to let in the cool breeze, Alaparos lifted himself out of his wheelchair to peer out into the courtyard. Students were still milling around, faceless bodies from his perspective as he watched strangers move about. It was a pleasant view until his legs screamed in protest and his knees buckled, nearly cracking his chin on the windowsill on the way down. More than a little dazed, Alaparos let out a dry chuckle before dragging his prone body back onto the chair and wheeling himself off towards the door instead to air out the cushions. Socializing wasn't his thing, not really. Whoever came to him would come and he would leave it up to fate to lead him to those who he would meet.

Perhaps it was wishful thinking but when Apalaros finished cleaning up the dorm rooms, no one had come in yet. He would have liked to talk to someone during the process but he supposed that since he had arrived fairly early, most people were still out in the yard talking with others. Well no matter, it would give him time to roll down to the kitchens. Perhaps some classic cookies would be a good welcome treat, not too heavy that it would spoil one's appetite for dinner yet sweet and small, something that would make people feel welcome. Of course, he couldn't prepare any milk, that would be easily spoiled but he could work within limitations. Now the real question was what types of cookies to bake. With a smile, Alaparos rolled himself down the empty hallways, the creak of his wheels the only sound echoing within the cold space.

♓︎ Sσɳɠ BιɳɠLιυ ♓︎

Clutching their bag close to their chest, Song BingLiu squeezed past throngs of people, keeping to themself. His shoulders were hunched, nearly folded in half with how he was hiding himself. One hand was always kept free, constantly signing apologies as he bumped into other new and returning students, lips thin and sealed even when pushed around. With the amount of people milling about, it was difficult to find a space for himself, Song BingLiu resigned himself to simply shuffling towards the dorms where hopefully there would be less students. But of course he had never been really lucky and in dodging a large group of laughing and tittering student, he instead crashed into a red haired girl, sending her phone clattering out of her hand and onto the ground. Immediately, he froze with his mouth hanging open in horror. That was absolutely the worst way to make an impression on someone and he quickly scrambled to pick up the girl's phone. He could only hope that his slightly watering eyes and offering of the fallen device back would be enough to covey the depth of his regret at running into her. After all, if he spoke out loud, his accepted apology might not be genuine at all.

Name: Haruto Liu
Nicknames: Brute
Age: 19
Appearance: At a glance, no one would believe that Haruto was capable of throwing a fully grown man across a room. He has the appearance of a delicate flower, pale supple skin, tall stature, and silky long hair tied up in a high pony tail being markers of grace and poise. He is quite thin, yet possesses muscles that can be mistaken as slender arms. He has fair features such as thin eyebrows and demure grey eyes, full lips and a teasing birthmark under his left eye. He certainly is a willow, bearing the likeness of a delicate flower that would bend over at the slightest sign of wind yet strong enough to weather the strongest of storms
Being Type(s): Shapeshifter, Hydron (Vampire, Selkie)
Fighting Style: Haruto is as fluid as water yet as unyielding as rock. Very rarely will Haruto actually block, preferring to flow around the attack and strike back in retaliation. He will turn opponent's attacks back at them while using that time to try and find any weak point his opponent may have. He isn't afraid to fight dirty, using sharp joints and underhand tactics to ensure victory, all while being relentless in his defensive assault. He is also physically strong. Very very strong. He would be called a War God if titles were bestowed upon people, his prowess on the battle field both with bare hands and with a sword are unparalleled. He isn't as adept with long range weapons and modern contraptions which make him quite terrible with a gun, but he's a quick learner and can adapt easily to the situation. He would fit the archetype of the fragile speedster if not for the fact that he can act as a shield and absorb a lot of damage. Truly, he is a beast bred for war; a solid wall who will never yield unless broken.
Personality: They say that Haruto has only ever known one emotion and that is anger. While it isn't quite true, he experiences other emotions thank you very much, his resting i-will-murder-you-where-you-stand face does very little to dissuade the rumor. He is quick to action and slow to talking, preferring to converse with closed fists and sharp blades but also knows when to retreat. He may be a muscle-head jock but he is also quite smart when it comes to reading people's actions and intentions. He is capable of coming up with strategies but tends to go for brute force rather than diplomatic talks. Unsurprisingly, he is more street smart than book smart but does put a lot of emphasis on his studies
Backstory: Born from an unusual union between a creature of the night and the sea, Haruto was born as the heir of the matriarchal Liu clan. He inherited both his mother and father's quirks, born with the skin of a Daubenton's Bat and lived out much of his life in between worlds. He was treated as a young lord with members of both races falling over themselves in an effort to gain his favor yet he very rarely expressed any outward emotion other than disgust and apathy. This changed with the birth of his sister two years after his own and Haruto fell in love with the small Selkie baby. Though his sister was treated worse than he, for she wasn't considered within the line of succession, Haruto loved her with everything he had. He was the one who picked her new name and taught her the rules of being a woman, showing her the ins and outs of womanhood yet warning her that their parent would never see her like he did. In exchange, his sister taught him how to feel and look within himself, her steady presence aiding in helping him find himself. He longed to remove himself and his sister from the stifling aristocratic environment that they had been born into and entering the School for Shapeshifters would be the first step in that plan.

Among the crowd, Song BingLiu cuts an elegant figure. Tall and graceful, you would be forgiven for thinking that he's an ethereal being walking the earth with cascading locks of silky hair pinned up in a half ponytail and wide sparkling olive eyes to match. His hair often changes colour with how much he dyes it but for some reason it is surprisingly healthy. There are laughter lines etched into his face and smatterings of freckles lining them. He loves street fashion and places emphasis and great care in what he wears. He's a fashionable boyo

ISFJ - The Defender| 2w1 - The Companion

He hungers for knowledge above all else, striving to learn as much as he can about the world and people around him. He loved, and loves, and looses himself

Forename: Alaparos
Surname: Papadopoulos
Nicknames (opt.): Al

Age: 20
Year Group: 2nd Year
Gender: A whole lot of ????
Pronouns: He/Him

Appearance:
Alaparos has large heavy but sturdy build with Greek heritage. He has dark olive skin with smatterings of freckles as well as dark blond hair that reaches around mid back that is often tied up in a half pony tail framed around sea blue eyes. He occasionally wears makeup but keeps it light, limiting it to eyeliner and lip gloss. He is wheelchair bound and finds it difficult to walk on two legs though he is capable of it, preferring to limit himself to just standing for short periods of time. Both his ears are pierced and he has a septum CBR piercing, a plain leaf tattoo crawling up the left side of his neck. He enjoys more feminine and oversized clothes such as baggy sweaters and long skirts.

⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺

Personality:
Alaparos is a gentle where the others are cruel and empathetic where others couldn't give a damn. Alaparos is a gentle giant who would do anything to for those he feel close enough with, standing on the front lines not to fight but to protect the home he has made amongst the cruelty and sadism of reality. He is cheerful character bright against the drab scenery of the world, always willing to help out. He is the heart of any group he finds himself in, encouraging others and generally making the mood as cheerful and upbeat as it can be. But sometimes this can be taken as a detriment where his desire to make light of every situation leads others thinking that he is either loose or adverse to responsibility. He is very protective of creatures that are smaller than him which isn't a very high bar to set as he is easily taller than most. But sometimes he forgets that he's pretty big so he ends up bowling others over a lot. Do not be fooled, however, as he has his own brand of cruelty hidden under layers of kindness, cultivated over a lifetime of being used and lied too. If you have ever wronged him or committed a perceived slight against those under his protection then beware, for when you least expect it he will slit your throat with a smile.

⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺‧͙⁺˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚⁺

Talent:
Home Economics: Alaparos is a househusband and a homemaker. Activities such cooking, sewing, cleaning, repair work, child rearing, and household management are his forte. The only reason why the Stella House is as pristine as it is known for is because of Alaparos' talent as a househusband. He certainly puts the Malewife in the Mansplain and Manipulate though he shows characteristics of the other two categories

Zodiac: Taurus
Skill Description: Jackstones - Skills come easily to Alaparos. Whenever he puts his mind to it, he can easily learn and remember skills that can be used to help others
Spirit Animal: Jacob's Sheep

Other:

Meng almost wanted to snap back, fists itching to punch the arrogant Ninetals and pull on her tails but refrained from it when Amaris curled up closer to her side. Patience? What Patience. Meng was a fighter, bred and trained to stand strong in the face of combat and encounters that were sure to leave others shaken. She was, and still is, the crowning jewel in Amaris' hoard of competition trophies. She was the one who usurped hundreds of reigning champions with her fists, first as a lowly Bunnary then as a Loppuny before gaining unimaginable power once she held in her paws a stone that signified the deepest of bonds that she and her master shared. To hear a prissy uppity fox tell her what to do was not only offensive to Meng, who had sworn to only listen to one other being, but also a jab at how weak her master is. Amaris is not weak and Meng would always protect him from the world. She had failed once before but another incident of similar nature would never again happen if Meng could help it.

But, and here was the awful thing, Riko was right. Amaris had to go out. Amaris was a child of the moon, the stars, the galaxy. Not of the earth, the rocks, and the darkness. Amaris needed to go outside in order to thrive, the pale parlour of her skin and vacant eyes were enough proof. Even if there wasn't the threat of attacking hostiles, Amaris would have fought tooth to nail in order to bask in the night yet the grief of everything locked him away in this dark sanctuary. No matter how it was phrased, a cage would always stay a cage. And if it ended up doing others some good, well Meng wasn't going to complain at all

Meng's warning growl was low enough to be swept up in the chatter of the room but Amaris' firm touch was enough to have her backing down. It was heartwarming to see that Amaris' partner was that willing to shield her master from these types of situations when he got too overwhelmed by the world but still social etiquette was something Amaris still held in high regard even after years of living it out in the back mountains. "Apologies, young master. I'm afraid I'm as clueless as you are about the situation. Perhaps even more. I have removed myself from the larger part of the world so can not provide much insight." She murmured with an apologetic smile. That was all he could say before burrowing his head back into Meng's embrace, letting the Lopunny swaddle her in warm furs and even warmer affections

For the briefest of moments, Jiu was almost impressed at the world for so conveniently setting up ambient lighting while he was wandering around an abandoned graveyard. But that thought was quickly banished when devices screeched in protest to whatever odd energies where tampering with it, the high pitched electrical wail shooting past everything and piercing Jiu's mind. The immortal crumpled onto the overgrown grass with a wail of its own, slender fingers clawing at its ears as the ringing just. wouldn't. "STOP!" It was almost like a miracle that the wrenching pain stopped as soon as it started, the sky lightening and leaving Jiu to pant on the ground, catching its breath. It felt too similar to a time when Jiu was nothing and everything where the night and secrecy were its constant companions. Jiu smiled mirthlessly, smearing its face into the cool dirt for a moment. Having freakishly sharp senses weren't a good thing.

With a grunt, Jiu pushed itself up and brushed off the grass staining the leather and cloth, scowling at the amount of washing it would inevitably have to do. The events still sparked suspicion in its mind but Jiu's priority was finding its keys first before cleaning up. Whatever was happening in the world, it could wait. Jiu didn't want to involve itself in mortal matters anymore
