"Oh yeah, it's almost weird to think that this ends." Adara laughs a little too, looking at Mona and then Athena. Back home, she had to fight and earn the trust but here... it's a lot easier. Shame the real life couldn't be so accepting. She blinked a few times, trying to not shake her head clean to not disrupt her hairdresser. "So, what are your plans after tomorrow? Apart from a certain wedding."

Adara shakes her head. "I don't have anyone either. Though it's the opposite, I doubt anyone wants to go with the bug that can crush you." This time, she feels a little more comfortable and laughs before looking at Athena. A stare from her yellow eyes with a little cross in them. "Hard to match the pristine princess though." She laughs, slapping herself on the thigh. "Can't all have a bethoted prince." She mispronounced bethrothed... "But you'll find someone. I'm sure."

"If I am lucky, I will have a dress... from this." Adara points at her own hair, blushing. She didn't expect both Selineile elites to compliment her. "I saved up some and when I asked others for who can sew the best, people mentioned your cousin." She adresses Mona but didn't turn her head, trying to stand still. "He wants the excess but I can ask him to make gloves for you... or something, I don't have much left because of..." She points at herself, her physique is quite bulky.

"A-Away from me now!" Adara blurts out, a little red now. "... who are you going to the ball with?"

Adara shrugs, she has no real experience with hair. "I don't know, I never touch my hair apart from grooming it every day... I have to borrow those reinforced combs from Ayran already." Her hair feels soft to the touch and fluffy but they return to the original shape shortly after Mona removes the curl. Then, she slowly extends her hand, softly touching Mona's hair in return. "... yours feels nice. We can try."

Ambrose nods. "Then I'll work on that. Adara, do you mind if I use any leftover hair?" She still had a bit of a stern expression but shook her head, as Ambrose leaves back to his room. With an open door, he starts his "magic" on the hair.

Adara meanwhile stares down at Mona, her expression softening again. She had no idea what to do but... brushing her hair past Mona, giving her head a full pass through it, she sits down next to Athena (even slowly to make sure she doesn't break anything) and points at the curls. She had no real idea what those were.

Ambrose nods and takes the sewing kit, but first taking the box from Adara and closing it shut again. "Thanks cousin, I owe you one. I'll return it to you before the ball..." Ambrose made a little face, it was his thinking face as she complimented Adara, who was bowing down. "Thanks. You're the fanciest Elite I've seen thus far." She was not that good at modest compliments but in her ears, that was one of them. Ambrose then smiles. "For a little entertainment... how much would Athena and you like to involve Adara in your little beauty thing? She's a Banarit, I'm sure that house could use a Selineile touch."

Adara turns to Ambrose, a little miffed of that statement. Her house wasn't bad or full of savages, they were temperamental and passionate fighters. She even did not notice that her hair was touching Mona's face now, full of volume and the feeling identical to the hair inside the box.

Ambrose chuckles and embraces Mona immediately in a heartful hug, even being a little extra and lifting his right foot off the ground like he was in a cartoon. "It's been too long, cousin. Oh, Athena, it's been too long between us too, I like your displays of grandeur." That was his way of saying "I like your style". Going back to the issue, he combs through his own hair and laughs. "Hehe, sorry if my only query is the sewing kit, I am returning a favour." He looks back at Adara, who raises her hand. Seems like he has to introduce her too. "Sorry, she isn't in Selineile that often. Mona, this is Adara, she's the reason I need the kit in the first place. Would you like to show them, my insect friend?"

Adara nods, opening the box. It's full of white fur... hair... whatever. Touching it feels divine, so soft but none of the hairs bend too badly, they even return to normal shape. It feels like the most expensive scarf ever devised. And "coincidentally", it has the same shade of white as Adara's hair.

A gentle knock on Mona's door follows not long after the message. Ambrose fixes his sleeves again, then looks back at the much taller Adara, holding the box and having a strange look on her face. Her skin color made it difficult to tell but if he had to guess, she was blushing. "Oh, you shouldn't be nervous. Mona and I are cousins, she's fun to hang around with. Well, if you catch her alone, usually she loves the dance of duos with Kendo." He did not sound irritated but his choice of words do make it seem like they're on neutral terms at best.

Adara roams the halls once more, this time she was inside the Selineile building, knocking on Ambrose's door. Handing him a large box that he had trouble lifting, he just thanks Adara. "Do you have a date for the ball?" Adara shakes her head and so does Ambrose when she asks back, though neither does advances on the other. Ambrose thinks of Adara as "too brutish" while Adara just doesn't think the twiggy actor is her type. "When will it be done?" | "Give me an afternoon, we had some powerful seamstresses in the family. Maybe I inherited some skills." He chuckles, as they chat a little in the hallway and while Ambrose made sure to not be that loud, Adara made no such efforts. She wasn't "obnoxiously loud", just normal talking voice.

Ambrose sends a little message while they talk, smiling.

Ambrose stares back, frowning as well but he just moves his left hand. That meant "keep going", he just watches the "performance" and crosses his arms now. From background character to audience. Somehow.

Adara smiles, though from Ayran's point of view, it could pass as a sadistic one. The comb still in her hand, she extends her hand again... the results can be seen, her hair is still fluffy and luscious but now they have a little texture. From her comes a weird smell, it smelled like fabric but had an enticing note to it... pheromones.

Ambrose leaves the classroom soon after, he could never really stand her. Not only did she give actors a bad name with her mimicry ability, not only was her entire personality an irredeemable mess, wasting a power like hers to nothing more than little games of pretend... it was all just bland. Yes. She was bland, void of taste except, maybe, clothing.

Walking along, he fixes his sleeves again and follows, standing behind Mona and Trixie now. Another performance... well, let's see how well this one goes.

Meanwhile, somehow, Adara moves around the complex rather silently. One wouldn't assume her to be even capable of moving without a trace but she makes it work, though even the moth herself couldn't explain why. "I just do it." Was her typical response. Looking for a certain someone... there, Ayran. A light tap on the shoulder, from the 6'8 girl that's less than an armlength away... and she hands him a comb. "Thank you."

Appearance: Species: Lepidotids (Moth-descendent), Height: 6'8, Weight: 173 kg

Personality: Direct, somewhat authoritarian, motivation-driven, responsible, nowhere near refined, understates her strength
Background: Hailing from "a remote village of back savages", Adara was already a bit of an outcast back then, be it because of her hobbies, skin color or fact that she is part moth. Over time however, she turned from insect outcast to the next village leader, easily carrying the village on her back - figuratively and literally. Then though, a stranger handed her a letter of acceptance, from Riganois no less. Confused, she accepted in return anyway and thus began the more mundane adventures of a nearly 7 foot tall half moth being in a school of magic.
Power: Her monstrous strength aside (she can lift up to twice her own body weight), Adara sports horn-like antennae that can actually be used offensively. Attacking someone with can either drain their vitality or send vibrations through the target. Her large physique also renders her more durable than the average person.
Weakness: Despite her immense statue and great heat endurance, fire is her weakness. Additionally, apart from throwing projectiles, Adara has no ranged abilities. Also side effect, she cannot wear armor of any kind.

Previous Misdeeds: Being part bug but also she is quite vocal about her disdain for certain policies of the school (including the elite ranking and such), nobody likes a loud mouth.

"The side stories..." Ambrose held his head a little, still smiling but this time a little shocked. With people bumping into others and whatever trouble Ayran and that other person were stirring up, how come he was not interested? Subplots like these are always worth chasing but today, no.

He just... did not feel like it. A background character, that's his role today. So he just goes to his classroom, sitting down and fixing a few wrinkles on his sleeves before looking around for a familiar face or two.

Ambrose finally arrives, being "fashionably late" as always. Ironically, for someone who treats the world as a stage and the stars as his audience, he sure misses his cue. Reading the letter and folding it away inside his jacket, he starts roaming and reminiscing of his time at the academy. The boring lectures, the ways that other people interrupted the lectures, his minor offenses... huh. Now that he's looking back, some class clowns aren't too different from him. And while the ordinary "posh diamond actor" would be offended, Ambrose merely smiled.

Deep in thought, he simply roams the hallways, taking a scenic detour towards the cafeteria.

Personality: suave, eloquent, caring, somewhat vain and overconfident, too much of an optimist sometimes by how much he wants to be inspiring. - "Next you'll berate me for believing in a good cause."
Background: The son of a powerful "Dame of the Night" (and funnily enough also the brother of a similarly titled one) made him seem like the lesser light of this side of the family, until he found inspiration in a concerto his aunt brought him to. "No matter how often the spotlight shines on the main character, some will feel for the tertiaries, even the villain!" This inspired him to pursue a more flamboyant lifestyle.
Power: ☾ Nyx Aeterna ⴵ - Apart from his youthful complexion, Ambrose revels in the hours between dusk and dawn. He seems to always have a faint shimmer around him (almost like an image filter) and he can alter his surroundings as long as nobody watches the things he wishes to manipulate. For living beings, he can move them while they blink but not too far. Someone has to rearrange the stage, I will provide the distraction. During the day, he has the talents of a magician... make of it what you will.
Weakness: Ironically for the actor in the spotlight, his weakness is vision - He can only manipulate/manifest things out of sight. Additionally, his own flair prevents him from making anything too crude or unrefined. "The stage must be prepared without the audience knowing, of course." Some say he has a similar drawback of energy storage as others but nobody really knows...
House: Selineile
Rank: Diamond, he does not want to be Elite because it would- "Limit my point of view, power corrupts after all."
