Iteral looks aside for a little while, though not really because she felt sympathy for the gods. There are some deities in the garden too that she would rather beat with a rolling pin than talk. Her sympathy actually went towards Cloudy and his family, still having to fight things... while her biggest fight is a rowdy student, they fought godly things. It reminds her of her own wars, or rather how useless she was back then. But then, a brief moment of silence later, she smiles. Because this time, she chose it herself. And she knows Cloudy, if he was in trouble, he would have asked her earlier. "Well, I'm glad everything worked out for everyone though! Hm, what kind of a god is Cloudy now then though?"

"Argo Navis, made from Puppis, Carina and Vela." Ambrose looks up at the ceiling, a little smile forming on his face. "Travelling the Milky Way for the Golden Fleece... I must admit, it is quite a spectacle. A shame it is no longer recognized..."

"I teach culinary classes, mind you!" Iteral laughs before Cloudy interrupted and she turns a little red. "Nothing, nothing, to be honest... heh, after the third war thing, I went back to my normal life. Teaching witches during the week, culinary classes on Saturday, my life is pretty boring but content. And sometimes, my daughter or Ambrose over here visit me. What about you though, you all seem to be more on the heavenly side of life! How have you all been?" Iteral smiles, folding her hands together and her eyes wide open.

"Well, my favourite constellation happens to be Cassiopeia. What about you?" Ambrose chuckles, Eunice seems a lot more child-like in her ambitions but in a charming and non-condescending way. She reminds him a little of her grandmother, though less overwhelming. "And you've got yourself a date, I suppose."

"Hey now, my cooking skills didn't come from my magic or my mom! They come from my other mom and lots of training! And foccacia, you challenge me in Italian food? You're on, sis-in-law!" Iteral lifts her fists, smiling at Lilya and Cloudy. She already got along with her quite well, maybe they can cook together after she defeats her!

"Perhaps we can share a telescope together some time and go stargazing together?" Ambrose offers, smiling gently. He had this interesting aura of calmness around him, almost like he already knows what her answer will be. "I am sure together, we could even discover a star or a planet. I will make sure to credit you for it."

Iteral turns a little red, she isn't very used to compliments, both past and present. Though after a short while (and a sip of water from a bottle Ambrose brought), she takes a deep breath. "Cloudy's just an adorable one, I knew he'd be alright after I left but I didn't expect him to just seize the jackpot like that! And who knows, we can have a bake off! It's been a long time since Cloudy tastes the fervor bread and this time, maybe you can taste a different emotion than anger!"

Ambrose shakes his head slightly. "I do practise magic but I am no magician or wizard, though I'm not shy of a few parlor tricks myself." As a little joke, he slides a few cards from his wrist, shows them - all four aces - before letting them vanish in a flick of his hand. "I just finished my studies and plan on becoming an astronomer. Grandmother told me about the stars and how her mother controlled them and it's been a dream since I was little to see the night sky in it's full glory."

Iteral giggles and proceed to shake everyone's hand, regardless of how willing they were and, in her classic voice of "having an accent and slight gear noises at the same time", she just radiates happiness. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet everyone who's made the life of my adorable brother even better. Hmm, I could send a message so the others could come too."

Ambrose chuckle, holding a phone in his hand. "Not needed, grandmother. I already sent a message to the others." He instead bows down more this time. "It's an honor to meet the extended family."

Iteral then hits herself playfully. "Oh, where are my manners! I'm Iteral, pretty sure Cloudy told at least one story about me messing up his youth." She was joking of course. "And this is Ambrose, my grandson. Named him after my father, they do look very similar."

"You know the stereotypical muttering of a loving sister." Ambrose chuckles, his voice a soft baritone. "How you were adorable as a kid, how she tried making up for great-grandmother's busy nature and how sweet you would have looked in certain outfits of hers." He just smiles, while Iteral was just enamored by the atmosphere and smell. She always was a dedicated cook at heart, smelling them was just an added bonus. But as soon as someone called Cloudy "Daddy", her attention immediately shifted. "YOU'RE A FATHER NOW!?" She shouts, immediately hugging him again and rubbing her cheek on his. "Awww, it's been toooo loooong!"

Ambrose did nothing but chuckle at her. Did she forget that she became a grandmother in the same time...? Ahhh, sentimentals.

The two Lucenox follow, with Iteral being her old bubbly self and looking around, trying to find as many details as she can but Ambrose held her back slightly by putting a hand on her shoulder and whispering something in Latin. Then, her eyes were the only things that darted around. She finally responds. "You know me, Cloudy, I am content with everything that was baked with love!" Ambrose smirks back and nods, his handshake was quite formal but Cloudy could feel him trying to not apply too much pressure. "I like a fine tart though. You seem well-off... and quite mature, on our way here grandmother told all about you as a kid."

Iteral didn't even let go, she keeps hugging him after and her hat actually fell down because it pressed against Cloudy, revealing a little change of her own. Her hair was still black but had slight strands of pink instead of white now, while her heterochromia could now be seen. Left eye, a striking brown with hints of blue and while the right eye had a contact lens, it was slightly smaller than her actual iris, revealing a small ring of pink. "Ahhh, it's been too long." She actually turns red a little when Cloudy mentioned it.

The young man smiles and picks up the hat of her partner, dusting it clean with a quick exhale. "Well, she does have a certain charm and it's hereditary enough to work for her daughter too. Else, I wouldn't be here." He puts the hat back on her and extends a hand, but only after Iteral breaks the hug. "I'm Ambrose Caelo Lucenox, her grandson."

Cloudy's counting of the second was suddenly interrupted by a familiar sound, it was a little louder than usual, though that was by intention. Two shadows appeared, quickly reforming into actual humans, or at least what looked closest.
One was Iteral, of course, dressed in an ordinary white shirt and long black skirt. Her hat was obscuring most of her face but her hands were a little wrinkly, she wasn't in her young form... but not old either, else they would shiver a bit. As she looks at the letter in her hands again, she utters something in Latin before handing the letter over to the other newcomer.

"Are you sure this is the right place... here, you read it."

Then, the other person kindly extends his hand to her to read the letter himself. He was taller than the witch, even whenaccounting the hat, long brown hair that was combed back behind his shoulders and dressed in a fine sapphire blue suit, even with a little clock emblem on his left breast pocket. Dashing, could be a correct word. He smiles and points at the tea shop.

Then, just as quickly as one could register, she held a clock and vanished for a brief moment before appearing on the correct side of the street. "Cloudy!" She smiles, looking into his direction. The hat tilted slightly in her small temporal leap, causing it to fall forward a little but she could still see enough to do the classic "loving family charge" that is usually reserved for airports. The other man was more restrained, he took the traffic light nearby to get across instead. He also spoke Latin, though he had an accent, much like Itty when she spoke English.

"No matter how old, you keep your youthful energy." Instead of the attempted bear hug, he instead gives a gentle bow, a perfect 15°.

"Ababab!" Baklava Cookie waves his hand dismissively, smiling as the sack doesn't even feel that dense or heavy, Coca's claw even sinks into it a little. "Much like a magician never reveals his tricks, a seller never shows his hands!" The idiom was kind of lost in translation but he didn't mind, instead shrugging. "A dragon, huh? I heard about your Cookiekind, large, menacing, good tastes. Hehe, if you were older, I might sell you the jellies for a discount!" He laughs loudly, boisterous but also friendly.

Baklava Cookie kept walking the entire time after his laughter subsided, as he stares at the city getting closer. "Dark Enchantress Cookie, I heard stories about her from some customers. We wouldn't get along, she's far too bossy for my taste. And I'm just here to discover these lands, I'm a travelling merchant! What about you? What brings a sweet draconic cookie like you here, all by themselves?"

Coca happens to land on just the perfect spot of Baklava Cookie's head so that she doesn't crush or touch any of his pistachio pieces. He doesn't seem too surprised though, instead laughing a little. "I knew something was with the cloud. I'm Baklava Cookie, what about you, Cloud Nine?" He already gave her a nickname while going ahead, playing his imaginary horn again. "Are you planning on eat my jellies? Well, I got enough for a whole battalion!"

Baklava Cookie's act goes on for a little while longer but then he lowers his arm, eating a little more of the Jelly Meat before leaving it behind. The Jelly Meat wasn't devoured completely, so there was still enough to gnaw on. At worst, there might be some wildlife that could benefit from it.

Though he does not stop acting as someone else, this time taking out another piece of Jelly Meat and pretending it to be an instrument: Making fake horn noises and walking around like he's a musician! And he's not very subtle or quiet either.

Baklava Cookie keeps walking ahead, occasionally taking a little snack out of his burlap sack to snack on while he approaches the city. The good mark of a salesman after all is that you can enjoy both the bustling crowds and the quiet moments, so he just snacks and walks. Huh, that cloud moves funny.

He stops for a second, staring at his Jelly Meat and starts using it like a baton. He likes to pretend sometimes, it's fun to be someone else sometimes!

Just a little further away, also in the outskirts of Amaryllis city, walks a young cookie. Syrupy hair, green symbols made of pistachio adorning his head, brown soft dough. He is glaring at a map, muttering something in a foreign dialect. Then he takes his eyes off the map to look forward to Amaryllis City. It looked different than that he heard from both customers and the guide. At first, that gives him the reason to skip this town, there's no business to be made in an empty shell of a city after all... but then he hears the echos. Someone shouting "Hey, Hello!" from not too far away. Was that the city calling to him or just some desperate soul lost in here? Either way, since he's here already, might as well!

With that mindset, Baklava Cookie is set. He's entering the town, burlap sack on his back and ready to face whatever is going on here.

"By my syrup and my dough, this bargain is one-of-a-kind!"

Username: ~Waveshaper~
Name: Baklava Cookie
Nickname: Lava, Baklava, Merchant
Gender: male
Age: young adult
Appearance: A young cookie with a nice brown dough, Baklava Cookie sports a loose blue long-armed shirt and brown-ish pants, tied together by a simple rope to his waist. His most distinguishing feature is his hair, a lot darker. It is both styled with so much syrup that it shines in sunlight and is adorned with crumbled pistachios. On closer inspection... hey, they're symbols! Baklava Cookies claim that they're foreign currencies and it even seems like he's getting new pieces every time he makes a deal.
Personality: A lively personality with lots of practical knowledge both in his mind and in his bag, Baklava Cookie loves making deals, exotic food and telling about tales of his own but also hearing tales from others (as long as they're not too somber!). But he has a moral code, a good deal is when both parties benefit from it after all!
Kingdom: Sands of Yogurca
Weapon: A large burlap sack that always rustles when it moves. It seems to never get smaller when he takes things out.
Class: Bomber / Rear
Abilities/Other: (anything we should know? Occupation, a hobby, their powers? Write it here)

Baklava Cookie throws a random assortment of goodies around the enemies, slowing them and causing periodic damage. During this time, cookies on his assortments take increased damage when knocked back through. After five seconds, Baklava Cookie will announce a "last minute sale" and flood the field with rowdy customers. Enemies who are caught in the finanial fraces are knocked back and forth through the field continously (comboing with his field), allies caught in it will instead gain DMG Resist. It's hard to spot people in crowds after all.
During the entire cast and effect, Baklava Cookie is immune against Confusion and Stuns. A merchant's eye can focus on a lot.

Powers & Occupation -> A travelling merchant, Baklava Cookie has surprising flair and charisma. Also he can use his syrup as glue by combing through his hair but he uses that sparingly.

They've done it.

After the great Saint Deity had retreated into her castle, the world fell into an ice age. Temperatures fell. Life itself froze... but when absolution came in the form of another powerful being, who in exchange doused the kingdom in a state of eternal night, some were skeptical. The warmth had returned but would the darkness not kill them either... a group of individuals formed to find out who exactly this being was and maybe bring the light back without freezing everything.

They have ascended the Stellar Staircase. Defeated the beings that guarded it, weird scorpions, lions, even things like the Terrible Twins and the Horned Evil. Though the top of the case was quite anticlimactic, as they found themselves in an empty space. All they saw were stars around them and a figure in front, as dark as the night itself.

But when they start launching attacks at it, they could see how time slowed down. Projectiles travel like through honey, quick punches became visible, they were at a loss. But when they expected a flurry of attacks or anything like it, they just saw their friends vanishing.
---

Setsuna Jun

Setsuna could feel his moves speeding up again but before he could react, he fell down. His vision blurred again, he briefly lost sense of reality. Instead of the starry sky, he saw a bridge. Underneath him a strong current, he instinctively reached out to the bridge but couldn't reach it.
Setsuna saw himself, running away. His mind was about to fracture again, he wanted to scream...

when a hand suddenly reached out, grabbing him by his and pulling him out. For the first time in a while, Setsuna Jun felt relief. His perception shifted back to normal, he could stand on his own two feet now and he was back in the astral plane. The hand that grabbed him.

It belongs to a woman in a black dress and a witch's hat. Her clothing was adorned with little golden chains and cogwheels, as she looks... up at Setsuna. She wasn't very tall and apart from her clothing, she did not seem very special but her power could be felt. He did not want to risk anything yet, even with the voice telling him to just attack her.

"Oh dear, I could feel you... you've been frozen in time for a while, haven't you?"

Her voice was unique, as it not only has a weird accent, it also sports an underlying sound of a grandfather clock whenever she spoke. The woman takes Setsuna's hands, her hands were uncharacteristically rough for a witch, who usually were more ranged and didn't do much with their hands.

Setsuna's desire to assault her grew. And grew. But then, the witch spoke.

"I can see your past, Setsuna. I can see... a certain someone. Then a long pause. You have waited a long time for a purpose, haven't you?

The boy's murderous urge stops for a second. This was... the most friendly way of someone describing him ever since he woke up in this eternal midnight.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have intruded. My name is Iteral Lucenox. Hm... believe it or not... I was alive too when you were with Legion."

Something weird happened. His mind did not crash, he did not fall on his knees. Even though the name invoked something repulsive in his him, his heart racing again, Setsuna was able to maintain it. Stay on both feet. Almost like the witch was helping him stay focused. The burning grew though and all he could say...

"What... am I?"

The witch speaks again and as much as she wanted to sound smooth and motherly, the grandfather clocks made it difficult to convey. After that, she simply takes out one of her pocket watches from her bag and puts it in Setsuna's hand, as she presses it with his palm.

Setsuna could then see his past. All of it, Legion's rise, how he worked in it, his roles, the encampment... ... a saint... the confrontation at the castle...
When the flashback ends, the boy tried making sense of it. It succeeded mostly but all he lets out was a single tear and a name. "Chiara Lucente."

Iteral nods, closing her eyes and exhaling a little worried. "Someone important. A person who believed in you, in everyone. And even if your actions did not match her beliefs, your heart beats just like hers does." She turns her head slightly to look away from Setsuna. At first he was confused... but then he looks aside as well.

Navy. Or what his mind has made of his remains in the ice. The corruption of a corruption. Iteral was staring right at it with a stern look. All this time, Navy was whispering doubts, concerns and flaws into his mouth but for the first time ever, he shut up.

The sound of silence. Setsuna did not like it. He wanted to hear any voice again, except his.

"I can help you, Jun." Iteral says, a look of sadness painting her face. "I can't resurrect Chiara. My powers allow me to but death does not like being cheated. I should know." For a brief moment, Setsuna felt like he saw triple... three witches instead of one. "I can't bring her. But I can... let you join her." Even if it sounded like a threat, Setsuna could tell that Iteral did not mean it as one.

"I know you might not want to die. But I can ensure that, if you do, that you can meet her again. Set things straight. I can even try to set you back, so you can be clear-minded when-"

Setsuna now falls on his knees again. But instead of erupting into a fit and twitching like having an epilepsy, he just closes his eyes... folds his hands together and raises them above his head. He submits completely to her. Navy protests but this time, he is able to resist his calls. Iteral understands and simply taps the top of his head with a clock.

---
Setsuna finds himself still in the astral plane. At first, he thought that the witch scammed her. Simply bought time to discard him in space or something. But just as he was about to scream, a familiar voice from behind called out. "Setsuna, is that you my child?" He turns... to see a blonde haired woman, eyes red as rubies and with the same religious garments as people did during his time.
Since Setsuna was still on his knees, all he did is turn to her and get into the submission position again, closing his eyes as hard as he could while crying. He could not feel pain anymore but his heart was still pounding and his chest felt very hot.

"I AM SORRY CHIARA! I DID NOT KNOW WHAT I WAS DOING, I WAS A FOOL AND BETRAYED YOU SO OFTEN. THE BRIDGE, LEGION, THE HEART. IF YOU CAN EVER FORGIVE ME, I-"

He stops speaking when his lips met... a metallic cross. Chiara simply held it against his lips, while bowing down slightly. "There is nothing to apologize for, my child. I could see your intentions from the day I met you. Your actions were misguided and your heart knew that."

When he opens his eyes, he sees a pale hand reaching out. He takes it... it was soft, cared for and almost divine to touch. He opens his eyes and looks up, as his eyes met Chiaras soft expression. She did not say a word, simply pulling on his arms a little... and Setsuna understood, she wanted to pull him somewhere. He slowly got up and follows the Saint, still holding her hand. At first he feared the sound of silence again, or worse that Navy followed him here. But then he could hear... humming.
Chiaras humming to be specific. As they walk, she hums the songs of her life. The starting lullabies of her childhood, the religious songs of her sainthood, then a marching song from Legion. Then, a new creation. It uses the marching song as a baseline but this time she sings lyrics.

"When marching through coldest of nights,
When at your worst end,
Believe in the Saint Deity,
On her we solely depend.

That's what I was taught early on,
But soon I learned, that's not it,
Wait-ing, Float-ing
Just a wandering spirit.

Then I learn, her teachings are true,
But relying on her was foolish of me,
It's in us we seek,
improvement in,
So let's redeem your soul too.

It was obvious that Chiara... made some lyrics up herself. But she did not mind, it was a song she hums happily. Setsuna only needed one repeat... and then sung as well, as they walk through the endless skies.

They make a great duet.

"Arrogance is where great people fall, Cassowary. You're not loud yet have the largest ego on this table." Stella replies, smirking a little. At least when her smart mouth would get her executed, she'd have an ally to be executed with. "I know Nora won't let you win. But you know how passionate they can get. Why not make use of it?" Now she simply rests her hands in her pockets, leaning back in her seat and looking at Buraddo. How could he rest with the hyperactive, the defective and the detective?

Stella folds her newspaper away, revealing her simple yet slightly sinister smile. Even if Andrael had an attitude, being that high would certainly be damaging for all of them in the long run. Better make them fall now than at the actual crime scene. At least that way, the only people that could mock her for it was a hyperactive detective and the patient oracle.

"I was just making sure your opponent was fired up enough to not let you win. I know you favour an actual competition, Cassowary." Stella rolls her newspaper up with a rubber band - well, a recyclable brand of rubber because sustainability and all - and taps her own left ear with it. It was clear what she meant: "I can hear them."

"I will compare notes when you are done playing, regardless of victory. Don't be arrogant, Andrael.", she said, using her first name for the first time, "it's unbecoming."

Stella looks at Andrael, then back at Nora and gives them both a little mischievious grin. Time for a little chaos... without getting into it herself. "Okay, let's do it like this. I'll theorize with you on that front, if you can win this card game against Cassowary."

Stella knew a little about Andrael's competitive nature. But let's see if it can beat Nora's fervorous one.
