Title: PHIL + NaNo Day 2• Clicking for candy is aaaaaa. I’ll need 63K total and I don’t think I’ll make it. At the very least, I want the eggs, which will be 30K Sweets, and I’ll be Level 10 by the end of the day my time. • I keep sending out the 10y anni Mareep plushie when I have enough DP. Would be nice to get one back, but I’m not gonna cry if I don’t lol. • Edit: Welp, Level 10 before 10PM and it looks like I won’t be getting the forme-change items, nor the shiny plushie. But if I grind enough today and tomorrow I’ll have gotten all the eggs, so that’s something. Maybe I can grind enough for the Teddiursa forme-change item, but that’s as far as I’ll get :/ Bro, it’s only been two days and I’ve already hit a snag. Fantastic. I know I just said this was the one area where I’m completely at ease, but man does it feel extra clunky this time. We all have those parts we just don’t want to write, and I’m there right now. Midnight Edit: I know what went wrong. I didn’t stick to the pre-write. I had the broad strokes planned and decided to take it in another direction last minute, and that screwed me over. Ugh. Why. I had an idea for a Pokémon story a while back (we’re talking years) with my Sailor Moon OCs. Writing Pokémon and playing Pokémon are two very different things, and I haven’t touched the anime in years to see what kind of BS they get away with to go by that. I did use PvPoke to sub in for the first battle, and that seemed to work out alright.  Show

Plot is as follows:
Sweet Rich Girl leaves home, ostensibly to go on her Pokémon journey, but in actuality she’s looking for her older sister, who their parents disowned long ago. Before long, she runs into Streetsmart Tomboy Chick who invites herself to tag along. Tomboy teaches Rich Girl on battling and generally how to take care of herself. It gets very messy. Title: PHIL + NaNo Day 1• Finished the Raylóng quest and got my beautiful dragon baby on Halloween! • Nappy was a nightmare to catch, good God. • Found the first Machine Part at the Rocky Cave. Only took seven years, but you know... better late than never. • I’m so close to getting the 25K Candy New Halloween Event Pokémon. Like, scarily close. Started today at Level 8 with 8.5K candies and as of this post I’m Level 9 with 18.7K. Like?? Whoa?! I just might be able to get the forme-change items at the very least, if not both the Glitch mons as well, before the event ends. Maybe even the shiny plushie too. If I’m not mistaken, I believe I got all 10 of the Featured Event mons (one of which is my first self-hatched shiny!), so I won’t have to worry about them anymore. • This place has taken my attention over PFQ, simply because there’s more to do. I finished the Halloween event there in 2 hours. I’m still grinding over here. I’ll do a full comparison later. • Gems work so differently here and it’s absolutely wild to me. It’s actually kind of frightening how different the gem culture is around here compared to PFQ. • Clicking. Good GOD how do people stand to click here? I have to make the hitbox bigger every time I open a clicklist, and when it hits me with the “Are you human?” security measure, I have to resize it again, and it’s annoying. On the bright side, I can do 500 interactions far quicker here, and on mobile too. You win some, you lose some, I suppose. Currency is harder to get here too. For all intents and purposes, I still consider myself a beginner, and the culture shock is real. • Slots are addictive. Send tweet. I have so many stories cooking in my head. I’ll edit in brief summaries for some of them later. I won’t be doing a full novel this year—instead, it’ll be a series of oneshots. An anthology, if you will. There’s only one subject I can stand to let myself just write with absolutely no pressure to be perfect, and I’ve been meaning to get back into it for some time now.
