Well, it'd worked, with a few side effects, such as an increasingly strong headache. It was quite surprising that some gang members would be breaking out of a government prison, the gangs and government were known to have some kind of mutual truce. Though the Giligars were known to oppse the government more often than other gangs.

One quick detour. Sprinting over to the labs, Athena slipped in, and sneaked around, looking for the place where they took her blood sample.

Walking the a nearby puddle, she scooped some water into the purifier, and in a few seconds, there you have it, clean, drinkable water. Dropping the dried food packet into it, a sad looking meal of noodles was soon made. "Not quite as amazing as yours, but incredibly nutritious."

Athena stretched her wings, standing up and leaping off the side of the building on which she had been sitting watching the sun rise, landing gracefully on the ground below. Maze, here I am to face another day!

She'd barely slept, the rule back 'home' was 'If you sleep, you very likely die', and she'd gotten used to taking a quick nap, normally somewhere hard to access if you couldn't fly.

Anyways, enough about 'home'. She wasn't at 'home'. She was in the maze of doom. But it would need to try very hard if it truly wanted to kill her.
