Frisk swallowed. I can't save them all. But I will try. I won't let Halcyon kill everyone. She thought. As she saw this, she swore she could see a Froggit smiling at her from behind the door to the long hallway. She smiled, encouraged to go forward. She went through the door. She sighed in relief, not seeing the flower there. If he goes far ahead, I can still SPARE the creatures he leaves behind. She thought. She froze. But what if he kills an amazing monster while I'm still stuck here? Don't worry, Frisk. You have the power of determination. She thought. She was newly determined. She powered forward, soon seeing herself in a snowy area. She smiled and walked forward, just vaguely seeing the outline of Halcyon ahead.

Frisk was keeping up with Halcyon. She waited outside the door until Halcyon left.

"Hahaha... You're not really human, are you? No. You're empty inside. Just like me. In fact... You're Chara, right? We're still inseperable, after all these years... Listen. I have a plan to become all powerful. Even more powerful than you and your stolen soul. Let's destroy everything in this wretched world. Everyone, everything in these worthless memories... Frisk sighed. She continued after him, carefully keeping hidden all the monsters that had still somehow survived. This sucks. I can't even do anything about it. She thought. "What if we meet humans ahead?" She asked Halcyon, hoping he would respond. "I'm sure that they like these monsters."

All the colour drained from Frisk's face as she ran over to Toriel. Her SOUL glowed a huge red, surrounding her and Toriel. She was crying really hard. But soon, she felt a paw on her shoulder, and looked over to see a completely healed Toriel. "Thank you, my child." Toriel said with a smile. Frisk gave a big smile, and then winced. Nearly all of her life had been depleted from saving Toriel. But after a bit, Toriel healed her. The red bubble faded away, and Frisk stared at Halcyon.

"You're a traitor, you know that? I thought you were human. But you're just like what society wants you to be. Why are you even down here?" Frisk yelled, full of sadness from almost losing Toriel.

"I didn't really know much about it at the start. About halfway through the RUINS I wanted to give up and just go home. Yes, I do want to go home, like all of you. Surprising, huh. But I couldn't, because I was stuck here. But then, my SOUL glowed. It filled me with a trait that I'd never felt before: Determination. And that's how I made it through the RUINS, and I think I know what this SOUL thing is about. When you get into a battle, if things hit your SOUL, you start losing health, I think.
