What the- She really had to stop being surprised. But in her defense, no one, no one, had successfully sneaked into her base/home, much less bring anything with them. It just wasn't possible. Athena scanned and checked the strange 'supplies' in every possible way, looking for any kind of clue for who was doing all this. And making sure that they were safe. Unfortunately, nothing turned up. At least the contents were mostly safe. She still doubted the 'Dortitos'.

Sure enough, there was a new message in her inbox. Quite hard to miss, when you rarely get any. Grabbing her backpack which could compress pretty much anything, she neatly stacked whatever she would need and could fit in it. The few bulky items went in a separate trunk.

Security was amped up, That Guy wasn't getting in so easily now. A few slightly heated phone calls, and her schedule was clear for the month. No idea how long this was going to take.

Why was she doing this? That Guy didn't give her any reason to follow his directions, and she really really didn't have time for fantastical adventures. Was it a secret thrill for new challenge? Or a need to prove that she was strong enough for whatever That Guy was going to throw at her? Whatever it was, she was on her way.

	Damn it. Some idiot had set the camp on fire. Whatever reasons they had, this wasn't worth it. Their meager supplies could all be destroyed in a matter of minutes. Sliding off the rock, Athena landed and raced into the burning mess, leaping over flames and dodging sparks, making her way over to the supply tent. Athena sat on a rock ledge close to the camp. Legs hanging off the edge and staring off into the distance, she seemed to be in some sort of trance. In truth, her mind was spinning wildly, trying to make sense of the situation, make a plan. But it was just the same things she'd considered, repeated over and over again, rejected over and over again. She wouldn't be joining the others today, the sudden turn of events seemed to have uprooted her usual cheeriness, like a veil of seriousness had sudden covered the young girl, draining her of all energy.

Character name: Athena Luminia Lediana
Age: 15
Personality: Friendly and fun-loving, she'd normally the first to speak, the most energetic one. She can be slightly stubborn at times, as she has strong opinions about many things.
Is she evil? Only time will tell...
Appearance: Pale blonde hair, she normally wears it down. Her eyes are a pale frost blue, with hints of white and silver. Normally wearing a dress that matches her eye color. A sword with an ornately decorated handle, again, of her eye color with swirling patterns is always hanging at her side. Oh, don't forget the most important part! Snowy white wings, with, you guessed it, hints of silver and blue extend from her shoulder blades. They can be folded to cover the sides of her body down to her waist, which is their normal resting position.
Power/ability(s):
Telepathy
Transmitting: The ability to 'transmit', or send, thoughts into someone else's head, kind of like speaking in their mind.
Memory altering: The ability to change or twist someone's memories, and possibly wipe them away completely.
Mental disruption: Able to send short bursts of mental energy to cause effects from the victim's mind suddenly blanking to hallucination, to possibly death. (Though the more powerful the burst is, the more of her energy it uses. If she kills someone with it, for example, she will faint for a long time afterwards.)
Normal telepathy: Reading people's minds, and, if given sufficient time, digging deeper into their minds to find memories, few emotions, etc.
Flight
Due to her wings, she can fly.
Weakness: Both her telepathy and flight take up great energy, especially the more complicated and challenging the feat she is performing. Her wings are extremely sensitive and if damaged in any way, it will greatly affect her flight.

It's gone. All gone. The world as you knew it.

Ashes and ruins are all that's left. Skeletons of buildings, husks of what was there before.

Can we say sudden? Not really. We all knew this was coming, the threat had been in the air for as long as the bomb had been under construction. But now?

It's real.

Athena huddled in her 'home'. She still couldn't believe all this had happened. It was just so quick... She shivered slightly, pulling her legs tighter together. She hadn't eaten in a long long time. Not that it mattered. There was no point in living anymore. Her parents were gone, her home, her world. Everything.
