Appearance: Looks a lot like the default male character in BW, except his hair’s blonde and longer, and he’s wearing a red toque with a Poké Ball symbol on it, and glasses.
Region: Half-Sinnohian, Half-Galarian, lives in Sinnoh, however.
Position: Is it okay if I do “none of the above” and just do “really strong wandering trainer”?
Pokémon: Lucario, Torterra, Rhyperior, Eelektross, Aegislash, and Inteleon (He has others from his travels boxed, but these are the ones he primarily uses)

Bit of Backstory: He was born in Sinnoh, and after defeating the eight gyms with his Sinnoh partners, as well as stopping a resurgent Team Galactic, he proceeded to adventure through other regions. However, he made it his policy to never enter the Pokémon League, considering it “too much in the spotlight” for him.

Other: I have a bunch more backstory that I can send if I get accepted. These are just the bits I thought would be most important.

Welcome to this roleplay idea I’m trying out! I figured that I might as well try to get back into the swing of things with an RP, since I’ve been gone so long. However, due to my experience GMing/DMing various tabletop role-playing games, I’m going to take a step back from being a character in the story this time, and instead focus on letting you guys tell the story! (This is subject to change if there isn’t a lot of people interested) Speaking of tabletop RPGs, I suppose I should introduce the setting, which is primarily inspired by the worlds of fantasy TTRPGS:

The World:
This RP will be set in the Velorys region, a large region on a seperate continent than many of the other regions, which was almost completely decimated several millenia ago by a war between Legendary Pokémon triggered by unknown causes. Now, the region is a small smattering of cities and towns, with the Pokémon League being the main form of government. You will all begin as new applicants to the Trainer’s Guild, a sub-set of the League that is all about facilitating and officiating the journeys of Veloryan youth. Velorys is also unique in that trainers do not choose a starter Pokémon from the traditional list, instead having one of the Guild’s many Pokémon choose them in turn. This is primarily because Veloryans have heightened bonds with their Pokémon, and the Guild wishes for trainers to cultivate that bond early on.

Decided to celebrate my return to this fantastic site with a Pokémon RP. Anyways, the plot;

You’ve received a mysterious letter inviting you to the Kageru Region, a relatively unknown region that nonetheless has its own Pokémon Gyms and the like. You decide to pack your things and head to Emerald Town, where you’ll be able to meet Professor Maple, the region’s leading Pokémon expert. You also take with you your most prized possession: One of the seven Mythical Pixie Pokémon, who you have befriended on your previous journeys. And so a new adventure begins...

It has been five years since the destruction of Team Rocket at the hands of the Legendary Trainer Red. During this time, many events have occurred involving similar evil organizations, but have been stopped thanks to the valiant efforts of other trainers who went on to become Legendary Trainers. However, Arceus noticed a pattern with these incidents. They were all caused by humans. So, Arceus has decided to destroy the universe and remake it without humans. However, young trainers, chosen by the Legendary Pokémon, as well as aided by the Legendary Trainers, may be able to stop Arceus...
