Also sorry, didn't mean to seem like I was coming at you. I misunderstood your comment and was trying to help clarify what Krazy stated. [Read more] |

My final point still stands though, just that it's probably more effort than it's worth to implement. If the notifications were like the GTS ones (e.g. "you have a new offer on your trade!" or similar, sent BY the GTS and not sent on-demand by the user) that might work. Again - not a bad idea, just seems like a lot of work to put in aha ;; If I do have any other questions I'll be sure to post them [Read more] |

Edit to add: I'm not saying necessarily that the idea is bad. I'm saying the idea has it's faults & that it appears to be very similar, even as an 'add-on' to the GTS; that perhaps including this function would be more effort than it's worth, because the GTS does a lot of this already - you're just looking for a way to improve it (it seems), but again.. there's a lot of work that would go into creating this, when it is very similar to the functions of the GTS. .....or you look in the GTS directly for the map, and if the map isn't there/people aren't taking PD, then you check again the next day? While ALSO posting up PD for a map, in case someone does see your GTS post? I mean, it's not hard to use the search function if you want to buy something.. [Read more] |

Think of it this way: The GTS is a (mostly complete - as complete as probably this will be) list of people SELLING. If people want to buy, they go look in the GTS. What you're creating is the exact same, except opposite: A list of BUYERS, so that sellers can message the buyers. It already exists, in the form of the GTS. Just reversed. :L [Read more] |

It doesn't really make a combined list; it just adds another list to the mix. [Read more] |

I quote, "Maybe there could be an option to click on the user who is looking for the item you selected, so they would get a notification saying like 'User X would have an item you're looking for'" If someone was gonna repeatedly click on the user/spam the notifications...? Also, I still don't really see the point if not everyone is going to use it x'D as you said you can opt in or opt out of it, but it just becomes ANOTHER one of those "incomplete lists" that you talk about, so why include it if it won't be complete? And, again, there's hashtags as well as the 'newest feeds' in the notification wall, for people to see if users are buying/selling items. If they make a public feed, it will show up in the newest feeds (until it's not considered new, at least.) I don't know how the fact that the messages relate to the GTS automatically make it 'safe'. There is no way to moderate what a user says in the PM/Palpad when they message someone who is buying or selling an item. Also, this could be an annoyance with the blocklist and would require more work with the block list to make sure 1) you aren't seeing trades of people you've blocked. 2) people you've blocked aren't seeing YOUR trades. 3) even if you see the trades, someone you have blocked/someone who has blocked you should not be able to message you or send you notifications, because that defeats the purpose of being blocked. However, the rest of it is.... egh. It can lead to a LOT of spam. E.g. "Hi I'm selling x that you're interested in, please buy?" Nah I don't like your price "pls? Pls? pls? pls? pls? pls?" etc' The 'send notification to user' button can also be abused in the same way (spamming someone's notification wall) Or you might get messages saying "hey I see you're interested in x I don't have it, but how about you buy <other item> instead?" I think the current system that already exists (being able to search items in the GTS, as well as users able to post feeds if they are buying/selling something, as well as the ability to create a hashtag if you're buying/selling, as WELL as the auction house) is enough for looking for items. Maybe implementing the favourite item(s) would be a good idea. [Read more] |

But, to answer your question: The trade and the offer must have equal amounts of pokemon, for you to accept the offer. i.e. if the trade has 3 pokemon, the offer must have 3 pokemon. [Read more] |

I could see Lugia's addition (not being able to withdraw if you're the top bidder) makes sense, but I feel like there could also be a "Only withdraw once per auction" kind of thing so you can't repeatedly withdraw, bid, withdraw, bid on one auction. If those two rules were implemented I'd like the idea/support it more-- [Read more] |
