Xuanji jumped down from the building she was on, which was about five stories. Using a metal, bent wire magnetic strip rope, combined with her ability, Xuanji swung herself off a lamp post and landed safely.

Opening up her phone, Xuanji navigated through the empty alleyways and streets with her map, guiding her safely back to the base. Thankfully, there weren’t much people around and everything was fine.

There were still bodies and people being evacuate from the previous fighting areas, stretchers, bandages, blood and bodies.

Xuanji passed them and arrived at the lobby, which was now a makeshift hospital treatment area, Saeng-i was there but the old lady medic wasn’t.

Skipping through the injured, and popping a piece of bubble gum into her mouth, Xuanji put on hand in her pocket and held her phone in the other, Poe curled around her neck. The girl checked the contacts of the other Mafia members, no new messages, good. If Xuanji was normal she would ask where her Boss or the old medic was, but alas, she didn’t really care.

“I’m going to the basement, I have the report too but I’ll hand it in later. Call/text if need anything” Xuanji sent on the chat and shoved the phone into her pocket, humming like nothing was wrong and that there definitely wasn’t any dying people around her. Xuanji didn’t speak to anyone and went to the elevator down into her room.

Xuanji received the message.

“Yes Boss everything’s fine, how’s things on your end.”

Xuanji had sent three smoke bombs on a few buildings through the drones and cleared most of Sixth Avenue.

Everything was pretty well on her end.

“Where are you Boss, where do we rendezvous?”

Xuanji read Huixin’s message and grinned.

“Hey Boss, you realise I’ve been with the Mafia for five years right, I wouldn’t be so foolish to be caught.”

She was sitting on top of a random building’s rooftop, with her laptop, headset, raccoon and some gadgets for her safety. Xuanji was still monitoring all the movement of the city currently.

She was well aware of the destruction going on in the city. Therefore she launched off two more drones that were attack based from the drone camp she had set up a few years back. The drones were on standby only, in case anything happened.

“Tell me if you need anything Boss. I’ve got the equipment chips if you want me to blow up anything, or if you want me to self destruct our guns.”

A separate tab on her laptop displayed the massacre in the hall.

“Got it Boss.”

Xuanji booted up the drone system on her second monitor, got the control panel up that was connected with her wire controllers. The four drones she launched all had smoke bombs attached and ready to fire. She sent two over the area the Mafia would attack, one next to where Ldeya would shoot from to warn her of any dangers and one last drone outside the ESA base.

Unplugging a few more USB drives and resetting the passwords of the ESA system, Xuanji also cleared the history and wiped all the data as informed to.

“Drones stations at Tower, Fifth and Sixth Avenues and ESA agency building.”

Xuanji sent the pictures off to Huizin, and worked away, plugging in different USB cable and drives into her separate laptop that ran on a different IP address, well, her own personal address that is. It was on a completely different private server, that was opened only from a drive she had access to.

Typing in her user, password, and answers to the authentication, Xuanji turned on her server, opened a vpn to run her network and logged onto the ESA website, since she found a way to bypass their security servers protocols and firewalls, this was how she had access to their cameras, data, servers, files and so many more.

Opening an application through the website browser, Xuanji successfully set up her second monitor that screen shared the footage of the road system of the town, along with traffic light timings and road closures etc. Inputting a code she had set up years ago, one that she used ever since she started hacking the ESA system, the traffic lights on Fifth Avenue were changed to one minute intervals from their original fifty seconds. Then she set up a passcode system with her self made app and blocked off the attempts that the ESA may make to correct the system times.

Of course, Xuanji would like to have her own fun, therefore she turned off the traffic lights at the second, fourth and eighth Avenues and closed off a few roads, but left a clear road from Sixth Avenue all the way to their base free, when Boss gave the signal, or sent a message, she had full access to the security system and could close off all the red lights on the route if needed.

Unplugging on USB drive and reconnecting it to a different monitor, Xuanji sent over a copy of the live map feed to Ldeya.

“Boss, everything’s ready, tell me when you need me to close off roads, I’ll tell you which roads are free and where the agency cars are when the operation begins. Everything is set up for action. I’ll fly some drones in for recon if you need? Or something more explosive i can drop from them perhaps?”

Damn, this was going to be fun, perhaps more so than video games.

“Yes boss, I’ve sent over the file of live feed of human activity in the town currently, what else would you like me to do? Hack the traffic lights or something?”

Xuanji asked, her hands already flying across her keyboard, typing furiously. Although most of the time she wasn’t very serious, when it came to her job, she was alike to a different person.

Xuanji turned back to her monitors, shutting off the game software and opening the live feed of the city’s traffic system. Typing quickly and then highlighting a few areas, uploaded the map image and sent it to Huixin’s phone.

The girl put on a different headset and connected it to her fourth monitor, and opening the communication system she had set up for the Mafia a few years back, opened up Huixin’s contact and turned on the mic settings.

“Hey boss, can you hear me?” Xuanji asked, hopefully, if the system didn’t malfunction then Huixin’s phone that had been redesigned by the girl, should have received a live message.

Xuanji nodded, and flicked a small device which looked like a USB thing towards Ldeya.

“My newly developed gadget, that’s a satellite tracking map, there’s dots on the map when you expand it. It receives signals from the satellites I have hacked and under the Mafia control right now, and conveys the people, then reads them as the dots on the map, anywhere with crowded red signifies places with lots of people. Is that all you need?”

Xuanji thought for a second, and looked at Ldeya.

“I wanna get back to gaming.”

Xuanji finished her game and took off her headset, she had won the game, finally and looked as blank as ever. Her eyebrows were slightly raised more than usual. She spun around her gaming chair after setting her headset down on her desk. The three monitors that were on displayed a finished game, and the security camera footage of the Agency, that blinked and switched to one of the city, and the last screen displaying footage of the cameras in the Mafia base.

Two people? Wow, Boss surely was in a hurry to get things done.

Poe was on top of Shieta’s head, scratching at the woman’s hair. Xuanji signalled for her pet to free the doctor of his dangerous claws, Poe jumped down from his perch on Shieta’s head and back to his owner.

She sighed and crossed her arms, slumping back into her chair like her spine was nonexistent. The teenager waited for her ‘elders’ to give her the question they were instructed to deliver from their boss. Which Xuanji already knew the contents of, but wanted them to do it anyway for formalities sake.

Yu Xuanji didn’t need to take off her headphones nor turn around to sense that someone had entered her room, without taking her eyes off the screen where Apex was on. She frantically clicked and spammed buttons as if her life was on the line.

The girl spared a moment to mutter out of the corner of her mouth, quietly. “Poe, attack.”

Her raccoon, which was half buried in a mess of wrappers and plastic bags, leapt out and began running towards Shieta, jumping up preparing to attack.

Xuanji knew that it was Shieta in the room, she had the Mafia’s security cameras all in view on her fourth monitor.

Yu Xuanji was in her room, which is also the Mafia’s basement. Her room was messy, but her desk was always clean, with four monitors and two keyboards, with all of her technical equipment next to them. One of her screens displayed an ongoing League of Legends game, another showed the security cameras of the Elite Security Agency, the third was opened with anime and the last was off.

The girl had her headphones on, clicking furiously away on her game monitor, occasionally swearing and cursing as she cussed at her teammates. Her pet raccoon Poe, which just came into her room one day and refused to leave, was making a mess out of her rubbish bin that was filled with snack wrappers and bags of finished goods.

Sparing a second as she was reviving, Xuanji glanced at monitor number two, where Ldeya was strolling out of New City Hall. Even though she had been engrossed in gaming, she had caught what the executive said.

Xuanji shrugged and went back to her game.

Kiase, the… so-called ‘slendermen’ in question, looked at the two girls.

Why was he here again with two people harassing him? And what on earth is a slenderman? These annoying rebels or whatever never failed to annoy him.

For one, he was not mute. Can’t they tell that he is voluntarily not speaking? Some people clearly just cannot take a hint, he sighed and resisted the urge to punch, kick or throw that problem child’s friend across the room, why are they holding hands? Any of those options would be great to see.

Truly, through these years at the institution, never had he seen these obnoxious people, let alone know their names, heck, Kiase couldnt even remember the names of the rebels that got called for the Grass-u-nation reguest or whatever they called it. If he forgot it, then it’s probably irrelevant.

Kiase resumed his stoicism and just stared down at the girl with a heavy bag along with that six year old, refusing to make a move nor even attempt to. He stood there looking at the, like a statue, when was the last time he spoke to a person? Two semesters ago, roughly.

Kiase just stood around for a few minutes after that annoying little six year old dragged him into a group of whatever they were doing.

But, this told him the auditorium was… somewhere to his left or something, opposite of the direction he had gone the first time.

When the silent and emotionless man turned that direction, there was a beam of what looked like light. Something reflecting off something. Weird.

Without waiting for the group of problem children, he decided to follow it, perhaps others could lead him to the auditorium without him needing to interact.

Name: Yu Xuanji-鱼轩姬
Age: 14 .
Gender/Sexuality: Female she/her bisexual aroace
Alliance: Mafia
Position in Alliance: Normal member
Appearance: ╮( ̄▽ ̄"")╭

image is small so link
she’s about 5’5

Personality:
Gamer and hacker, but also calm. She’s very loud when playing competitive games and is toxic to a degree, but most of the time she’s very quiet and silent, barely saying anything. Her views of the world is concerningly dark, Xuanji believes that life is meaningless and people all have ulterior motives no matter what. Xuanji hates the sun, almost always wearing a hoodie and the hood up when needing to go outside in daytime, (but no she doesn’t touch grass). The girl is a seasoned hacker who is basically the background support of the mafia, helping with her digital technology skills and her manipulation ability. Xuanji, however has little empathy and shows minimal emotions, she has little pity, mercy, sympathy or compassion for people in general. The teen has a fondness of cats and also loves drinking water.
|INTP|Chaotic Evil|Toxic|
Ability:
Technology manipulation
Xuanji can manipulate elements in tech devices, dissembling them or creating them, she cannot change the matter of such components but she can create them to a certain degree. Due to her young age, she can only create simple parts such as gears and wires, and batteries, but in due time she’ll improve. Xuanji can dissemble technology and control the components, also having to power to reassemble them with different materials or giving them other uses, making her a source of gadgets and tech related supplies for the mafia.

Martial arts:
Xuanji has knowledge of hand to hand combat, but only for self defence since her body is too weak to be much use in proper offensive combat, making her useful for scouting due to her agility and nimbleness, also the perk of her being light weight and fast, also being a quiet person in general.
Weakness:
Fragile body:
When exposed too much to the sunlight, or minor injuries, she will bleed excessively and cough blood when stressed. (The latter rarely happens nowadays)

Short circuit:
When creating too many gadgets or use of her ability too much in a certain timeframe, her brain will shortcircuit and she will forget what she was doing and require sleep, depending on how bad it is.

Toxicity of a gamer:
She’s toxic and loud when gaming especially in league but she’s a good gamer.

History:
Xuanji was born and raised in a chinese family therefore her chinese name, when she was around nine, she watched her brother kill herself, and then get blamed by her parents for not telling them. Her parents raised her for a few more months before leaving her with a bag of food to live on for a few days and moved. Her brother had always been the favourite so the crappy parents abandoned her. A few days later, Xuanji was taken in and cared for by the mafia and the leader especially, and she was welcomed into it like a family member. She doesn’t have a lot of trauma or PTSD, but she will forever be haunted by the knife she still keeps with her which her brother used to kill himself to this day. Xuanji matured too fast for a regular child, although only 14, she acts like a mature adult when not gaming. and due to the physical abuse her parents gave her after finding her brother’s body, she now has a forever weak body.

Other: fish fish fish, also 14 is ok right
Palpad: yes
<Game Save Files>

[Save: Mun Saeng-i, That one annoying clean freak]
"Uh… she’s annoying but I like her cat, I’ve kidnapped it a few times.”

[Save: Shieta something i forgot]
“Oh her, uh, I hate her, she keeps telling me to exercise, like who in the world even goes outside these days, like can we even go outside without being 360 no scope sniped? Anyway why would I go touch grass when I can do it in game? I’ll have her know I’m almost GrandMaster in League, if not for trashy teammates. Also, it’s not an addiction it’s just a hobby.”

[Save: Liyue, that one genshin region]
“Oh yea this is my favourite genshin region it’s so cool and lots of mountains, not that many oculi either, there’s a lotta chests and primos to be found and uh… wait we’re talking about a person? Liyue is a person? Oh, well don’t really care I dunno who she is anyway.”

[Save: Ldeya-Fellow gamer]
“Ldeya is nice she games with me.”

[Save: Boss HuiXin]
"Boss HuiXin is nice most of the time, she recruited me and she’s like a parental figure but the other times she’s scary… though she probably still hasn’t found out that I’ve been using chatPGT for my reports recently.”

Kiase repressed the urge to punch or slap the girl, adult, gremlin or whatever she was.

Sighing very very deeply, he didn’t respond nor shake his head, dejectedly, he let himself be dragged towards the social gathering party. Great, people, absolutely amazing.

Kiase’s extremely irritated face could be seen from a mile away and every can probably see that he’d rather not be babysitting a six-year old or twenty or however old the girl pulling him was. In his head, he was thinking over the ways he could escape from the grasp of the devil in disguise, but alas, he had no option but to allow the dragging since he had to get to the auditorium.

The girl who he in fact, has never seen in his life, calling him a ‘slendermen’, what in the hell was that? Is it an insult or something? He wasn’t sure. And of course, he was no mute, but Kiase refused to speak, therefore he kept his mouth shut. Lastly, ‘friend’? Who was the little, short, evil little demon calling a ‘friend’? If not for his need to know where the building he needed to go was located, he would’ve kicked her in the shins and told her to find her parents.

Kiase immediately turned around and was about to smack Phoebes, either on the head, face, hand or just anywhere in reach, yet when he turned, he realised the girl was so much shorter that him, that the air he was about the smack was not, as a matter of fact, Phoebes. Instead, his about-to-be raised hand twitched uncomfortably before lowering.

Come to think of it, he was technically going the wrong way. Of course, he wouldn’t ever admit it, but he did know, deep down, that he was wrong. Instead of hitting the little girl, Kiase pulled her hand away from his hair, he was a calm person, he must not let emotion control him even when his scalp is burning like fire from the gremlin girl’s crazy hair-pulling.

After freeing himself, Kiase really did not want to speak to anyone, especially not parading around in a giant group of rowdy children. That would be beyond him.

But did he have any other choice? Nope.

He decided to cross his arms and not talk, but he would follow them. Naturally, no one would break their streak of two semesters of not opening one’s mouth to speak words to another human, right?

One of the two people Kiase had been following turned suddenly and pointed in his and two others’ direction. Kiase froze for a few slow seconds and then stood up.

Him, a random guy no one knows the name of who has long hair like a girl stand up from the barrels he was crouching behind. Since his presence was definitely drawing much attention that was completely unwarranted and not needed, he decided to stand and pretend that he was not doing anything wrong.

Acting like nothing was amiss, Kiase starting walking away. He didn’t care about whatever social gathering of freaks and weirdos like him was happening but when socialising came into question, he was out of there.

Kiase, the supposed black-haired guy and accused ‘stalker’, was about to turn around the face the, from the sound of his voice, old man but then a third pair of footsteps approached, not wanting to talk to disgusting people, no matter who they were, Kiase looked for the two who knew where the auditorium was and hurried up to catch up with them.

Kiase was still hiding, from a distance it may have looked extremely funny but, in a situation such as this, he didn’t care, crouching behind barrels and small walls, stone pillars and heck, even fences, anything that made him look all the more inconspicuous, in his opinion, worked. Although it may have been foolish because they didn’t help to conceal him, they made him stand out more as a sort of crazy maniac stalking people.

But no, this was not stalking, at least, not to him.

Kiase wondered around the grounds for a couple of minutes more, still struggling to activate his crappy memories. His right arm was sore from carrying so much stuff around.

In the distance, he could see two figures talking, one carrying luggage and the other not, still stubbornly refusing to interact with people socially, he decided to just follow them but very quietly and pretend that he is, in fact, not following them.

Thankfully though, he would probably not be recognised, first off, he looks like a girl, somewhat, secondly, he’d doubt that anyone even knew him at this institution, Kiase failed to recall a time when he had talked to someone about things not related to the course, or once where it went well, even in the slightest.

Watching the two from a distance, behind some random stone wall, Kiase told himself that this does not count as stalking nor is he attempting to stalk them, since he did not know who they were and was just wanting to know where the auditorium is. Right.

This is not stalking, attempted stalking or anything similar, since I harbour no true ill intentions and only wish to find the location of a building. No, this is not me gaslighting myself, since my ideas and points and thoughts are all valid and true, therefore I am not stalking

Right, graduation, this meant that all of the however many names have been called, whoever they are and whether or not Kiase even knew them, would become people he either worked with in the future, or people who inevitably, he had to at least interact with.

As the speaker finished, Kiase looked around, the auditorium, which he forgot even existed here, his memory… really needed work. Dragging his heavy black suitcase and lugging it around for the day was tiring enough, and now he had a new problem, which was getting to where he needed to. At the rate this was going, he probably wouldn’t find it in the next hour or so.

Heading out of a door to his right, there were other buildings and complex signs that Kiase was completely and utterly not bothered to read, nor did he remember that he wasn’t the only one called therefore he should’ve just followed someone else, although… he didn’t recognise any of the other names, or he just forgot. Both options were valid.

Since the campus was enclosed in a huge circle, the school buildings were all separate, which means Kiase basically had to attempt to navigate around their whole campus grounds to find that one building which was the auditorium, great, he was probably gonna miss the ceremony or whatever that was going to be happening, not that he cared but, it’d be nice to go outside for like the first time in forever. He had been in the library, he was probably the only one there, not that he bothered to look around for other sentient beings, but perhaps if he did he’d know where to go. But no matter now since he was somewhere in the grounds he did not even remember the use of or the name.
