Ldeya's smirk faded into a more serious expression, her eyes glittering darkly.

"Your boss killed the most innocent units in the Mafia when she stormed our hideouts. Those who you don't even know the names of. Who were nothing more than pawns in this game."

She didn't speak it in a chastising or accusing tone. She simply stated the fact, with all the emotional indifference in the world.

"And she would do it again. If it achieved her objectives."

She didn't react to Jing Yu's talismans or his step forward.

"The Mafia has objectives they want to achieve. Those bleeding civilians were the cost for our members' safety."

An ever-so-slight pause, then in an almost teasing tone.

"The cost for your dear little sister's safety."

Ldeya was having a great, albeit slightly boring day.

Civilians were just so easy to shoot.

Humming slightly to herself, she didn't exactly blend into the crowd of panicked people with her nonchalant demeanour and casual strides, yet no one was paying enough attention or bold enough to stop her.

Like the eye of the storm, she strolled through the tide of people running around aimlessly.

Afterwards they were sure to tell rumours of a mysterious dark-suited figure walking away casually.

Ldeya crossed her legs, lined up her sights, and pulled the trigger.

A civilian fell below.

And another.

The another.

They would be fine, assuming they got to a hospital in time. Perhaps a broken arm, pierced skin, shattered foot. She hadn't really bothered aiming carefully.

Below, the trio of chaos was, well, causing chaos.

She yawned, lazily dropped the gun into the street below, and prepared to leave.

She was sitting crosslegged on the floor of the new base, so quiet it was easy to forget she was there.

Ldeya disposed of the soda can in a trash can on her way to Elantine Tower.

As she strolled through the Tower's front doors, she smirked. Elantine Tower was a high end establishment overlooking Town Square, serving as both the clock tower and a hotel for the occasional esteemed guest. You didn't just have to have money to get a reservation, you needed connections as well.

Fortunately, the Mafia was lacking in neither.

Once before, she'd sauntered in, irresistibly beautiful and charming. It was a beautiful assassination, a knife to the throat right in the middle of a dance. And how fun and exciting it was to casually exit, hands in pockets, as the bullets flew and missed.

After that, Lady Luck was born.

Liyue was perched delicately on the windowsill of her room, a purple butterfly floating around her absently and purple roses crawling up the sides of the window.

She looked with wide eyes at the clouds passing above.
