The earliest Mafia games were pretty basic. They only had Mafia, Cop, Doctor and Townies. The other char were added to spice up the gameplay. So, you can deem many of those new characters as redundant. And also there is no hard and fast rule about impl each and every character in the game. Up to the Moderator, yes, he/she can even make a game without a Doctor or Cop or Godfather or make multiple Godfathers. But the essential rule is about voting in every round.

	Well, that's the rule. Random or evidence based, you gotta cast a vote. Well then before proceeding into the next round of a game, wait for everyone to cast votes. In that way nobody will stay inactive also. [Read more]

How else we can identify mafia or non mafia members, other than doubting and pressurizing them. Well Prottoy and shadow, what do i do other than doubting people?? Sit here silently and say nothing?Like the ones who don't say anything and don't get suspected?? Well then, from the next game, I will not say anything XD even if I have doubts and I'd recommend others not to EVER ask anyone to reveal roles, because that implies that you are Mafia. Am I right or am I right? You can tell me what to say to avoid suspicion on myself XD If you can give an alternative solution, it'd be helpful. Also
