I honestly really don't find it fair for those who leave for long periods of time only to come back only to find their username changed. There may be cases where users don't remember the email they used(like me with multiple amount of emails) and so if they leave to certain circumstances they're screwed because they can't get their new username. And it isn't like they can make a new account because multi-accounting. This just seems like an unnecessary(unfair) punishment for someone who doesn't want to play the game anymore or can't play the game due to circumstances. You don't see this on other sites and for good reason. The username is their username and it isn't right for it be taken from them without their consent. [Read more] |
