@XxsatoshikunxX I'm not going to answer those questions, and you probably shouldn't expect an answer from someone else:
1. The answers to your questions are actually really difficult to find.
2. I assume your questions are just out of curiousity, which means they won't really help anyone, so there's no point in answering them.

1 - You can complete any of the dexes in random order, you don't have to start with Kanto

2 - All versions of a Pokemon count towards a dex, including shiny, regular, and shadow for Kanto/Johto. So if you have a shiny form, you don't need to get the regular as well.

3 - You don't need any of the EggDex entries to complete a dex. You only need (all of) the Pokedex entries listed on the Sinnoh section of the Pokedex page. This includes form changes, but not Megas/Gigas.

4 - Rotom has the special rarity, which means it is not obtainable from the lab or gem collector. It is obtainable through the Safari Zone or breeding. As I stated in Q3, you do not need the EggDex entry, so you could buy them from another user. You'll also need 5 other forms of Rotom to complete the Dex.

EDIT: well that's stupid. I don't get why the Rotom are not included in the Dex while the Castform are... Sorry for the confusion ^^

	To evolve Alolan Sandshrew into Alolan Sandslash, you'll need to use an Ice Stone on it, not an Ice Gem. As for evolving Pokemon in general, here's a good guide for that. [Read more]

	Clicking on the wrong one is actually better than clicking on none, as the latter would give you a warning, while the former will not. This has been confirmed multiple times. I've seen someone test this theory, and other users have been affected by this (accidentally). [Read more]

OT-collectors not affected -
Well, actually we are affected by this update. To me, OT is about fully obtaining the mon myself, which means that I don't want someone else's name to taint the mon's profile. Someone already has been affected by this (worse than me): [X]

Lab eggs -
Yes, I understand that the code is the reason for making all lab mons have Professor Rowan on it. But my point that it is kind of illogical still stands.

Tall Grass (SMs) -
While I personally wouldn't argue with someone that it was my SM, on the other hand, there are some (annoying and illogical) users who might, which would just cause unnecessary trouble.

As I've said before, the name 'taints' the mon's profile, or at least, in my opinion, so my personal value of it would be less.

Breeder already visible on family tree -
What I meant was that you can (indirectly) see the breeder from the family tree page. Just go to a profile of a mon, and see who owns the parents of that mon (however, this only works if the person who bred the mon didn't trade the breeding pair away).

While having another username on the page may not 'annoy you', it does annoy us OT collectors.

This isn't "emotionally leaded" at all. While yes, I agree that it may be 'personal opinion'. But aren't most suggestions like that? Don't they provide QoL improvements to certain users? For example, the berrygarden suggestions - they won't affect users who don't use the berrygarden; with this logic, shouldn't they be considered personal opinion too? In a similar way, this suggestion would be a ('personal') QoL (re-)improvement for OT collectors.

To check the OS of a mon, you'll need to go to the Pokedex page. Find the mon's dex entry, and then look at the sitewide frequency:
"Sitewide frequency: 8 / 7,387"
The left number is the number of shinies OS, and the right number is the number of normal variants OS.

Unfortunately, this is only accurate at the moment of obtaining/evolving/form-changing the mon. There's currently no way to check OS for already obtained/evolved/form-changed mon. Same goes for most brand new events, which do not have a dex entry.

	On the Mewton M. Meowth page, some info regarding the shiny is incorrect. You do not need the EggDex of every other shiny Mewton to unlock it. You only need to complete every goal, which is also stated in the original news post. The egg sprites are missing on all of the Mewton pages. [Read more]
