"Awesome," Aite snorted. "I'm not passing up a perfectly good opportunity to get ice cream."

"Alright," Tira yawned as well. "I don't even think it's that late. Not sure why I'm so tired..."

"I wish I could share your optimism," Toka admitted with a chuckle. "I never know what to expect with that kind of thing."

Mira smiled and held his hand. "I'm glad too. This is nice. ...Arceus, this is so nice. I never thought I'd be able to feel this way about anyone. Yet... Here I am."

"Ooh, it even SOUNDS good. Do you think we'd be too much of a third wheel if we got ice cream, too?" Aite snickered.

Tira looked over at the pillow. "Heh. Thanks. You want one?" She asked, shifting her head onto it.

"Yeah, sure. Sounds good," Toka nodded enthusiastically. "I just hope nothing is too awkward."

Mira blushed and smiled. "Right back at you. ...You're ruthless, Tiger, and I love that about you. I know you won't let me--or anyone else for that matter--down."

"Hey, what's that ice cream place of yours called?" Aite asked.

Tira chuckled and yawned slightly, subconsciously curling up into a smaller ball.

Toka flew down to a small island and set down the magikarp. "I wonder how Tiger and Mira are doing."

Mira smiled, feeling tears fill her eyes. "I--" She cleared her throat. "I love you too, Tiger. And you aren't going to lose me. Not like that. Ever."

Aite laughed. "Sweet. Though... I do get the feeling that won't happen."

"Has he seen it thirty plus times, too?" Tira asked with a snort.

Toka lashed out and managed to grab it by its sides. "Got it!" She called, quickly biting it.

"No, no, it's fine, I just--" Mira sighed and shut her eyes. "I had a boyfriend. Nick. He um... He loved me. And I acted like I loved him, but I just... Felt nothing. I thought that there was something wrong with me. He was... Perfect. But I didn't love him like he loved me. So, I convinced myself that there was something wrong with me. I thought I was aromantic. I started planning dates to numb my own pain and help others find what I couldn't. Then Hoenn came along, and you fell into the ocean..." She trailed off, but caught her train of thought quickly enough. "And I think that was the first time I realized how awful it would have been to lose you. Then when you saved me in Kanto... I realized that you had that same kind of fear. I wasn't sure what to think about it. ...Until this journey. But I think--" She stopped again. "I think I do have a crush on you."

"I guess so," Aite snickered. "Would you be angry if I gave the 'you break her heart, I break your face' speech?"

"Ah, really? So you too?" Tira smiled. "It's nostalgic. Still one of my favorites. But Toka's sick of it."

Toka hovered above, claws out and ready to attack it when it jumped.

"U-Uh," Mira blinked, blushing heavily as well, and looked away. "Y-Yeah. I think so. I... Don't know what it feels like to have a crush. But I think that this might be it."

Aite followed his gaze curiously and grinned slightly. "Heh."

Tira wagged her tail slightly and giggled at the movie. "This is actually the first movie Mira and I ever watched together."

"I'll hover above it and catch it," Toka nodded confidently. "Ready?"

Mira found herself blushing. She chuckled nervously and looked at his hand once more. Oh, Arceus help me if I'm wrong about myself.

She moved her hand onto his. "Tiger... I think I like you."

"Perfect," Aite threw up his arms. "See? That was spot on."

"Awesome," Tira grinned, curling up with some of her own popcorn.

Toka smiled and followed quickly. "Ooh, ooh. I see one already," She pointed to a magikarp in the lake.

Mira smiled and waved. "See you in a few months!" She called, and went back to the dock. She let Toka out. "Hey."

"Home?"

"Yeah," Mira nodded, jumping onto the boat. "Anywhere you want to go?"

Toka thought for a moment. "We haven't played for Noctowl in awhile."

Mira nodded slowly, untying the sail. "If I can find my ukulele again, sure," She smiled. Toka grinned back and ruffled her hair before taking off over the sea, towards Three Island. Mira wasn't far behind, racing the Dragonite.

Mira shrugged. "Just... Confused," She admitted. "I don't even really know why, honestly. Tonight is so nice and you just..." She trailed off, unsure of how to go on. "I don't know."

Aite snickered. "How's your French?"

Tira grabbed Mira's credit card ("I see Aite's been using this again. He left a scuff mark on the front.") and went to the lobby, buying the bag of kernels.

Toka laughed, yet blushed. "Thanks Kibo. And you are as perfect as the shining moon rising, lighting up my darkest days. I just beat you. THAT was bad."

Mira smiled and followed his eyes. "I've never seen pokemon do anything like this," She murmured, watching intently. She notice he took his hand away and blinked, somewhat disappointed. But why am I disappointed?

Aite smiled. "Thanks Cynda," He grinned. "Though I know almost nothing still."

"Ooh, sweet," Tira grinned, going to Tiger's bag and sniffing around. She located the flavoring and pulled it out. "Alright, I'll go buy the popcorn bag."

"This is perfect," Toka smiled as she landed.

Mira smiled and tore a piece of the garlic bread off. "Thanks, Wildcat," She replied quietly, feeling herself blush. "That does mean a lot."

Aite rubbed his paws together. "Here we go. This is where stuff starts to get romantic. ...How was my french by the way?"

Tira quite literally dumped Mira's clothes into the wash with a yawn. "Why you--oh, right. You're the one with a flame on your tail," She nodded.

Toka looked down. "Ah, I see," She smiled. "That definitely looks like a good place."

Mira nodded slowly. "I know that for a fact," She murmured. "I couldn't do half the stuff I do without the knowledge that you're all behind me." She stuffed a gnocchi into her mouth as an excuse to stop her sentence before it got too mushy.

"Tiger is a smart man," Aite nodded. "He knows when to time stuff like that. But yeah. Now is perfect."

"He has good taste," Tira smirked, following.

Toka took off after him, beaming. "It's date night for us, too, huh?"
