"Oh man..." Anthony whispered, looking down at his hands. He supposed he was grateful that magic was a thing, he couldn't imagine not being able to see out of an eye (even if one wasn't really seeing he supposed). He sat in silence for a few moments before finally speaking. "So, what classes are you taking this year?"

"That doesn't really ease my worries." Anthony stammered out. It looked like it should hurt a lot, so 'not as much' didn't sound all that reassuring. It looked... horrifyingly painful. "Your eye-" He took in a shaking breath. "is your depth perception... off?"

Maybe? They look cute but also like they would eat all the taquitos and place the empty bag back in the fridge.

Anthony leaned into the short hug, feeling rather conflicted. Over course his emotions somewhat straightened out as her charm faded, exposing all the scars. His eyes widened in terror as he moved closer. "You seriously call that fine! Your eye!" He hissed, his voice a sharp whisper.

Anthony lightly flinched, grabbing his arms tightly. He honestly found it hard to see himself as anything else. It wasn't too hard to find an article or an old law stigmatizing werewolves, and he could see why. All he really did as a werewolf was hurt. Either physically or financially, and maybe more. He had killed, he had hurt, and when he wasn't doing those things he was draining his parent's funds just to keep his own mind. Tearing himself from his thoughts, Anthony relaxed his grip on his arms, feeling a dull throbbing. "Alright." It was a lame response, but he wasn't sure what else he could say.

Anthony winced in sympathy, sucking in a breath of sir. "Ouch." He lightly picked at his palm, with a heavy breath. "Well, I guess it maybe helped you had experience fighting a rabid, murderous creature before." He said with a stiff chuckle.

"Oh. I mean, that's kinda dumb because you have to stay in school longer, but hey. At least you got a new learning experience!" Anthony said with a little cheer. He would never say it, but he was actually pretty happy. He'd get to see Holly in school for two more years. Maybe that was a bit selfish. A thought suddenly struck him, and the smile dropped. "No bad side effects from my first year... right?" He didn't exactly name the event, he didn't like to think back on it. It was bad enough that he'd killed someone, but he had attacked Holly, and truthfully he was still anxious about any possible side effects.

Anthony's eyes widened. "Wait, seriously? It's nothing too bad, right?" He worried, his voice almost frantic. He knew from personal experience how dangerous some creatures could be. He frowned at the thought, blocking off that train of thought. "Was it at least fun, did you learn lots?"

Anthony listened to her apology, lightly shifting in nervousness. It wasn't his fault, hopefully. "Ah. It's okay. Nothing too eventful happened last year, really." And by nothing eventful he meant he hadn't lost control at all the last year, and he wasn't hurt or anything. He finally seemed to notice her appearance wavering, lightly narrowing his eyes in concern. "Hey, uhm... are you sure you're okay? You're kind of..." His sentence trailed off as he realised he didn't know how to explain it.

"Seldom can one attain victory in ware fare without allies. Some allies provide direct assistance, the two forces battling side by side. Other allies provide logistical support, whether weapons and combat equipment or simply food and other life needs. Sometimes the most effective use of an ally is as a threat, his very presence creating a distraction or forcing the common enemy to deploy resources away from the main Battlefront.
But standing by an ally doesn't necessarily mean one will always agree with that ally. Or with his goals or methods."

Anthony jumped as he heard a voice and a tap on his shoulder. His eyes were wide as he turned to see who sat next to him. "Holly!" He gasped, his voice sounding in disbelief. "What are you talking about?" He asked, realizing that maybe he hadn't phrased the question correctly. He lightly buried his head in his chest in embarrassment. Lightly looking back up at her he clarified. "Like, what are you planning?"

Anthony had quickly exited the carriage, walking at a brisk pace towards the Great Hall. He moved towards the Slythering table, keeping his head down. The third year quickly took a seat, lightly wriggling in discomfort. He still felt a little shakey, keeping his hands under the table to try and hide it.

As the carriages neared a stop, Brooke exited. "It was nice to meet you Aria. Hopefully we can chat more!" She exclaimed, before darting towards the Great Hall. She excitedly slid into a seat at the Ravenclaw table. Eagerly greeting all at the table.

Brooke's eyes widened as she recognized the book. "Oh, it's that one!" She knew that technically she was supposed to read the book and... she had enjoyed it but... really she ended up just reading the required pages. She gave an awkward chuckle at the thought, sitting down next to the girl. "My name is Brooke, how about you?"

Anthony watched apprehensively as students left the train, clambering onto the carriages. Finally he stepped off the train once the crowds had dispersed a little, making his way towards a carriage. He stared at the empty space where normally horses would have been. It had always unnerved him. He had heard rumors about what was actually pulling the carts, they all mostly varied but one thing each tale had in common was death. Anthony looked away from the empty space, his heart feeling like a hand was grabbing onto it firmly. He was fairly sure he was shaking. At least Anthony could dispel most of those rumors. After all, he'd witnessed death, he'd seen dead people, and he'd... killed someone. He grabbed at his head, trying to shake away the thoughts.

Brooke excitedly exited the Hogwarts Express, jogging towards a carriage and clambering on. Looking up she noticed a lone girl reading a book. Smiling she sat next to the girl, looking at the book she was reading. What should she say? Finally she mustered up enough courage to speak. "Hey, mind if I sit here?" She asked pointing to the seat next to the girl. She seemed fairly younger than her, though Brooke didn't mind. "What are you reading? I don't think I've seen that book before."

Calverus' lips tugged into a frown beneath his mask as he listened to conversation strike up. He had forgotten how social sentient beings could be. Looking up at the walls and towers, he allowed himself to observe it closer. It was an impressive structure, though he had seen better. It wasn't quite like any buildings one would see on Coruscant, or even... Calverus scowled, reaching his arms up and folding them, grabbing onto his arms tightly.

Kosuke felt his jaw drop for a split second as he gazed upon the structure. It was possibly larger than the Hokage Tower. His hand slipped from his weapon and he slid his book into a pocket as he looked at the building. "Incredible..." He breathed out, his eyes wide.

Brooke gave a small laugh as the cat purred, handing it over to the girl. She stood up, brushing off her robes as she looked at Jules. Her face slowly filled with color as the prefect and girl thanked her, her fingers lightly tugging her sleeve. "It was no problem, really!" She exclaimed, then looking at the cat. "She's super cute. How long have you had her?" She asked, her words getting a little jumbled together as she spoke quicker.

Brooke had exited the compartment, now donning the black and blue robes of a Ravenclaw. She figured she could spend this time observing the first years. Brooke often tried to guess and make bets on what houses the first years would be sorted into. As she stepped out into the train hallway, she watched as a cat came tearing down the hall. Hearing frantic calls, the Ravenclaw figured she could try and help. She quickly knelt on the floor, hands reaching out to grab the creature, or at least slow it down.

Anthony sucked in a breath, standing hesitantly by the sliding door of the compartment. He had done the same thing last year, though it was all futile. Maybe she had left Hogwarts, or graduated, and simply did not tell him. Or maybe she was just avoiding him? He wouldn't blame her if that was the case. Regardless, Anthony stepped outside, looking around. He didn't just want to knock on other apartments, he was honestly hoping he would be lucky enough to bump into her in the halls.

Brooke walked through the brick wall, quickly surveying the student already there. The Ravenclaw took her luggage from her mother, hugging her parents goodbye before climbing aboard the train. She entered a compartment at random, setting her luggage beside her as she sat down. Her leg bounced up and down as she excitedly waited for the train to depart. The ride to Hogwarts was always somewhat thrilling to her, mostly because of her own anticipation.

Anthony hesitantly waved goodbye to his parents, taking his luggage and hauling it over to the train. The bright red color of the locomotive always confused him. It looked good, he supposed, but it was just such a bright color. Shaking his head, he clambered up into the train. He found an empty compartment, sliding inside and slipping his luggage in the overhead apartment. The train still seemed fairly empty, he must've been pretty early. The boy awkwardly sat down, crossing his hands as he looked at the ground.
