Without saying anything, he silently stepped out from the shadow and walked up to behind the unnoticing cookie, and tapped her on the shoulder politely. "Sorry Ma'am, I just happen to hear you guys talking about a recently fallen kingdom? Pardon me, but could you explain more on that? You see, I have a relative from the area actually.." Merin awkwardly trailed off, he didn't want to say that he was impolitely eavesdropping on their conversation, so at the end, he could only awkwardly make up a lie. Even back then in the Vanilla Kingdom, people were extremely honest and understanding with one another. As a result of being slightly isolated, as their kingdom was literally above Earthbread, they develop a tendency to trust everyone there completely, so it was rare case that Merin would need to lie despite being one of the few civilians who was able to freely go in and out of the Vanilla kingdom. But just as he was about to pick the perfect lavender, his hand accidentally touched a young lady's. Merin flinched, and stepped back, giving way for the other, smiling apologetically. Thus for the past month, he had his blue bird sent a letter to Pure Vanilla, and had to rest in a nearby village who was unharmed by Dark Enchantress Cookie's attack. Merin stretched his body as he gazed outside the window, facing the beautiful clear blue sky, but unlike before, he couldn't enjoy it with a peace of mind now. Pure Vanilla Cookie, afraid that they won't reach there on time, sent Merin first as he hurriedly went to gather the warrior cookies. Merin, as fast as he possibility could, traveled to Teahaven, but by the time he reached there, the kingdom was in complete ruins. Fire was everywhere, but more than fire, there was crumbs. His heart sinking, he immediately headed towards the castle, hoping that Lemon Lavender Cookie and the council was alright. But the scene he arrived too was some he would have never predicted. Now, she was stranded on some mysterious island, with 11 other people whom she rode the ship with. Ofcourse, there were a few particularly weird individuals with perhaps some mental disability, who is she to be the judge of that! It's not like she wasn't looked upon as a weirdo at times..heh! "What's with the cold and weary atmosphere.. uwaa how scary!~ No one has died yet, so what's the worry?" Soo-ah shrugged, complete alright with the fact of multiple eyes suddenly staring upon her. She always has this goofy smile on her face, with a mysterious twinkle in her eye that always spells trouble. At first, she gets along with everyone perfectly well, and everyone else laughed along with her small harmless tricks. Until it starts to get a little annoying. Now people usually avoided talking to her, much put their belonging near her, worried that their stuff would disappear because of her "silly little tricks". But, always with her without a care smile, she just shook it off, continuing on her airheaded act, as if she was still friends with everyone, and not an outcast. Soo-ah dislikes: Complicated things, envy, jealousy, controlling people, and anyone that her sister doesn't like. Soo-ah likes: boys, girls, people, sour things like candy :) 𝙰𝚙𝚙𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎 - Soo-ah's appearance is beautiful.. if it weren't for the fact that she dresses as if she were homeless. It makes it even more odd, with the black eyepatch she wears on her left eye that she ofcourse like any girl with secrets, never takes it off. But the knife that ends it all, is her eccentric personality. 𝙱𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢 - Soo-ah's life was pretty uneventing at first despite living in the bad side of town with her sister, alongside their gambling and alcoholic addict of parents. Though they may live in the bad side of town, Soo-ah was able to grow up stronger than most females, and has learned to get along with multiple gang members due to her unruly personality. This has caused her to be far more free spirited than others. But at the same time, unlike Soo-ah, her gentle older sister Sayoon is a calm and booksmart person. She dislikes violence, and yearns for peace. She hated the fact that their parents were bad influences, and repeatedly told Soo-ah not to hang around the wrong crowd nor get close to them. It was Sayoon's dream to get out of the small town, and head towards the bustling city where people of higher class and elegance gathered. But for Soo-ah, their little town was all Soo-ah ever knew. Sure she was simple minded, but she wasn't stupid enough that she couldn't tell that her elder sister is unhappy with her behavior. For Soo-ah, Sayoon was the brightest star in the sky, distant yet clear. Unlike their parents who never cared about them and their piling debts. Sayoon made sure both of them were fed and dressed one way or another. Sayoon always made sure to make herself look neat, without a strand out of place. While it was normal for there to be dirt and light scraps on Soo-ah's skin. Soo-ah never had the guts to say that Sayoon didn't need to try that hard for them. But she couldn't say that whenever she glanced at the determination burning in the other eyes. Thus she held back as she listened to the earful of Sayoon's scolding about keeping herself safe. Soo-ah thought that if she couldn't say it this time, there would always be more opportunities in the future. But she never knew that one day, that opportunity never came. Despite the fact that he was quite annoyed that they had followed Shirin, the scammer to the tree without finding anything of use nor any new information that he could use to expand his knowledge. But.. the liongator that they have found was an interesting species that they don't often see. Oh was his hand was itching to grab a sample of Felicia dna, or fur or perhaps a drop of the other's saliva. But.. he must hold himself back. This was not his laboratory, nor was this a creature meant for him to experiment on. But.. just one piece of hair, or drop of saliva should be fine..? Right? Ofcourse that wasn't the only reason he had in mind. For one, he was new to this side of the empire, thus wasn't exposed to all the different situations by far, neither was expecting such unique entities with this type of abilities. Of course, mimicry wasn't a new ability he has never seen before, but this wasn't just a simple mimicry. She leaned her face against her hand, as she stared at the back infront of her in curiosity, but also disappointment. She thought that Kinoko had actually had some genius plan in mind when she decided to rashly run away from them. But when it turned out to be just an impulsive move, Soo-ah was honestly... pretty damn irked. Soo-ah almost wanted to break open that head of her's to just see what in the world was going on in the inside. But, for the sake of others, and herself to not get in trouble, she just held back. Like she usually does. Annoyed at how she was just restrained, Soo-ah insistently poked on Kinoko's back annoying the other to the best of her abilities. [Read more] |

Somewhat? Except for the moss that seems to complete envelop the whole building, and the various cracks on the sidewalk. The flickering big signboard with the big bolden word [Motel] does seems to bring them to the right place. With a hint of skepticism shown on Shieta's face, she looked around at other buildings, but truly, this seems to be the only motel in this entire town. Not surprising, but not welcoming either.
