I don't think I can reasonably support this.
From my viewpoint (and reading the comments here, it seems quite a few other people think the same thing) sniping is just a part of auctions. I've played other games that revolve heavily around auction houses, and I think it's an important thing to be able to do. Maybe some people don't snipe and find it irritating, but personally I think it's a legitimate strategy to winning an auction. You said that it "takes the fundamentals of an Auction House off the table completely" but based on other auction setups pretty much anywhere, it happens there too, and it's an important part of strategy.

I honestly think that this would be a really nice thing to do. The fact that I tend to have sporadic gameplay periods is one of the big reasons why I struggle both at sticking with a particular game, and why I rarely put money into games. I already think this game is pretty great cause it doesn't seem like there's much of a punishment for missing a few days, but I know that I'm not comfortable spending money on premium when there's a fairly high chance I'll be unable to make full use of it.

	There doesn't seem to be any way this causes problems, but it might be more beneficial to have a range search for the dp rather than a flat number, so you could search within a range you want to spend (like <20 or 20-30) [Read more]

	I don't feel like there's really much of a problem with this, either with or without an item. There's not any damage done to balancing, if you lose everything you've collected by choosing to end this early. If this option needed to be limited for some reason, you could always solve this by limiting us to so many cancels per day. [Read more]
