Hello, I have a Vanillite in my party which should have evolved by now but hasn’t, I can definitely confirm they aren’t holding an Everstone

I do send them on rumble missions though so could this be why?

Can I close this thread? They just evolved haha - sorry for time wasting

A collection of wiki issues

Last updated: 28/07/2025

(WIP)

Figured out how to have a 'toggle all spoilers' button, might make it a bit easier to look through this post. Also figured out how to have spoilers within spoilers, which may be useful for issues with longer articles (such as evolving pokemon, and event database). Will add these tomorrow, along with links to mentioned wiki pages as well.

Rumbling page:
Show hidden content
“The longer the time the Pokémon is out, the better the result”
[in the same section as the bolded “How long the mission will last:”]

Could there be some clarification on what exactly “better” means?

Does it mean: more PD, more rumble experience (% discovered), higher chance of finding items, or higher chance of rarer items.

I’m pretty sure the puzzle piece drop rate at the end of a mission is the same, so 5 minute rumbles are “better” in that way.

I’m also pretty sure the chance of finding an item (per minute/second) is the same for any duration. In fact, this means shorter rumbles are “better”, as you don’t reach the cap of 8 items, so you can get more items in the same time.

I also have gotten multiple mystery items (including gold keys), and 2 star pieces from the short periods in which I did 5 minute rumbles [for puzzle pieces and the Brown Sack quest]. So either I was lucky, or duration doesn’t actually affect the items you find.

Someone commented on my feed:
“The difference is mainly seen when it comes to high level rumble areas, because the way it's coded (from what I understood when looking through old bug reports and answers given to users) you literally can't gain rumble EXP on those unless youre sending them out on 12 hour long trips.”
Not sure if “better” refers to that, (as well as there potentially being relatively more % discovered on longer missions).

This is probably only something that can be confirmed by Riako though.

You don't need the "https:" prefix, but you still need the "//" part.
Eggs page:

"All these multipliers stack up, meaning that if the user is a Premium member and has blown a flute, EHP received will be multiplied by 2.5."

Saw that 3 has been changed to 2.5. The page still doesn't mention that multipliers stack additively. Not sure if that is because you need confirmation from Riako. For now, without going in to details, maybe it could be changed to:
"All these multipliers stack up additively, meaning that if the user is a Premium member, has blown a flute, and it is a 2x bonus day, EHP received will be multiplied by 3.5."
Busy Pokemon:
Show hidden content
The phrase "and they may not do something else in some cases" is still a bit vague. Due to the recent increase in help/bug threads about 'pokemon not evolving', I think that the page should state that Busy Pokemon can't evolve.

"Unfortunately, auctions cannot be cancelled. The only way of getting the Pokémon is oping no one bids on it."
Small typo with 'oping'
Evolving Pokemon:
Show hidden content
Small typo with 'Tadbuld' (under Thunderstone)

Don't think Oval Stone should be mentioned under Item Evolution, as it's also mentioned under day/night.

Small typo; 'Gurrdurr' should be Gurdurr

Gimmighoul should be on separate lines. Maybe the amounts for both regular and shiny could be added as well (unless there's plans to create a separate page) - 99, 999; 999, 9999

Bullet points missing for some of the new Item Evolutions

Slowyore --> Yoreking would be better placed under Unique Conditions, rather than Item Trade Evolution

Slowyore --> Yorebro is missing, should be placed under Unique Conditions as well

The section Karrablast and Shelmet should be moved below Item Trade Evolution, or placed within Trade Evolution.

Magnedrones can also evolve by rumbling at the Lightstone Cave (as an alternative to using a Moon Stone)

Similar to how Mega evolution links to a separate page, linking to the Hisuian Pokemon and Giga Pokemon pages would be useful.

Tandemaus and Dunsparce have rare 1/100 chance evolutions.
Burmy, Combee, Salandit depend on the Gender.
Wurmple evolves randomly (50:50).
Toxel and Toxtroll evolve depending on Nature.

Fusions/Party evolutions could also be mentioned on this page (or on a separate one).

Should there be a page for Gender Differences? Main one that comes to mind is Aegislash's forms being implemented as gender differences. It isn't a separate species on PH, which is why I didn't include it in Evolving Pokemon above.

@CatLady:
I noticed that Riako's Evolving Pokemon forum guide is essentially the same as the wiki page. Would you be able to edit that post to add a link to the wiki page? (would be easier than having someone keep updating both the wiki and the guide). Not sure if you can edit Riako's posts though.

Fully support!

I've had to unfriend a bunch of people I actually was okay with; the only problem, the 20+ notification. Half of which were mostly feed ones and those also buried my berry garden and my rumble notification which in return I had to physically go check!

It's highly annoying for me, since I'm always busy and normally if I check after I first waking up; and had to eventually pick my garden or do a rumble, I would forget if I don't see it. So, yes. This would be highly useful for me and I would immediately use it if implemented!

Currently, the town map is a bit outdated - newer links are missing.

Missing features + potential ways to link them:
- Berrygarden (garden patch [similar to the Daycare backyard/field] // berry bushes // Lorelei selling berries // a Bulletin Board)

- Emera Square (simply link to the middle of the page, which is currently empty // link to a bicycle [current icon in navigation])

- Emera Beach (linked to Wingull in top right // fishing rod leaning against a bench)

- Safari Zone (Safari Ball on the grounds // Butterfree/Vivillon flying)

- Ancient Cave (Unown floating // one of the Harvest Sprites // cave opening // sign)

- Royal Tunnel (Zubat // rocky cave opening // sign)

- Shadow Radar ([it is found in the Home tab, but the links on the sidebar are for the Town] potentially a arcade game? // a shadow Pokemon lurking in the background)

- Bill’s House (Apartment above one of the buildings? // office building [with computers])

I also think some parts should be updated:
Why is the Item Shop so tall? I think it’d be better if each floor was linked to a particular shop in the Emera Mall (or if the whole building links to the Mall)

I understand Route 53 being a signpost, but what about the rumble areas and Tall Grass? Maybe it could be a Shovel/Explorer Bag for rumble, and a Pokemon silhouette in a bush for Tall Grass.

The size/proportions of the image may have to be changed to fit everything.

I’ve been thinking a bit about the difficulty/cost [33k Festival Points] of obtaining Celestica Flutes [they are regional forms, not megas/legendaries] and have made a suggestion to reduce their Festival Point prices. But instead of that, maybe they could be obtainable elsewhere.

We have the unreleased Silver Mystery items: . Celestica Flutes are also silver:

These could be similar to Black Boxes - they’re limited to only a few items.

Having just Celestica Flutes wouldn’t really make sense, so some other potential items are Ultra Saddles and Mega Stones.

There was a suggestion to make Ultra Saddles obtainable in a different way, instead of normal Mystery Boxes, as they technically aren’t legendaries. There’s 11 of them, which makes it difficult to collect all of them (especially if you want to shiny hunt them).

More ways to get Mega Stones would always help, as you need 80+ of them, so maybe they could be included as well (they fit the Silver theme)

So maybe the drop rates could be as follows (could be adjusted depending on how rare they are to obtain, by adding junk items):
- Celestica Flutes 60%
- Ultra Saddles 30%
- Mega Stones 10%

It was also suggested to implement the Galar Horse summons in Silver boxes [before they were released through the lab]. So maybe they could be obtainable this way as well (at a significantly lower rate, maybe 0.5%). These could either be summons, or an item that grants you a one-time discount on their eggs.

The evolution items Peat Block and Black Augurite could also be included (and removed from regular boxes).

Potentially Arceus plates as well, as those are used for Azure Flutes. (may need to be removed from regular boxes, to not make them even more common).

Some potential methods of obtaining them:
- rumble at Alola/Galar (or all special rumbles, as you can’t get regular mystery items from them)
Possibly requiring a high rumble level (~50)
- Gem Cauldron (instead of Black items)
Would also mean more users use the Gem Cauldron, as you don’t have the chance to get worthless Black Boxes [obtainable from the beach]
- Wondercards (every X cards)
- Emera Square - 1000 FP

There are currently only 3 ways to obtain the Lab Legendaries: from the Lab, which requires luck; from the Gem Collector, which is quite expensive; or from trading with other users.

Ditto should stay as a rare, not overhunted Pokémon, due to it’s ability to breed with most Pokemon. But for the others (Articuno/Zapdos/Moltres, Glastrier/Spectrier), I see no reason why they are so difficult to obtain.

Now, as they have been considered as “rare” for so long, I think it is best to not have the new methods affect the number on site / their value too much. Which is why I am limited to a few ideas, but if anyone has better ones, feel free to comment on the thread.

EDIT 02/07/2025 - Guaranteed lab legendaries:
You'd receive a random lab legendary, excluding Ditto, for every 1000 lab eggs adopted. Maybe "a gift from Rowan for helping with his research"
They'd still be obtainable randomly, but at a lower rate (Ditto remains unchanged).

The Galar rumble area is unlocked by spending 5k gems. At 20k gems spent, you unlock the ability to have battles with the Galar birds.

You can randomly encounter the shiny forms of the Galar Birds as an easter egg, but you don’t get anything from them. Maybe the shinies could drop Blue/Yellow/Red Feathers, which summon their Kanto forms. Assuming a 1/50 shiny chance, they’d be worth 150k (current Galar feather value) * 50 = 7.5M PD, so not too cheap, similar to gems.
Only issue I can see with this is users suddenly gaining 7.5M PD, so maybe they’re only obtainable after more gems spent at the Gem Collector, or X gems found at Galar, or a certain rumble level at Galar. Or possibly after completing you Kanto/Galar dex.
Maybe you'd have to trade X of the Galar feathers for one Kanto feather (upon defeating a shiny bird)
Or maybe the Kanto feathers wouldn't act as a summon, but grant you a one-time discount on their respective eggs from the Gem Collector.

Glastrier and Spectrier could be boss battles at Galar (at a lower chance than the birds). This could be unlocked after completing the Galar dex, spending X gems, finding X gems, or a certain rumble level, same as above. They could either give summons or one-time discount items.

There was a suggestion to add Glastrier/Spectrier summons to the unreleased Silver Mystery Boxes. (This was before they were added to the lab). This could be still followed through, by adding Ultra Saddles and Celestica Flutes as more common items (see this suggestion).

I don't really agree with making the recipes available at an earlier level, since that'd just mean more people looking to buy the powders, but the same number of people completing powder tasks. Level 30 doesn't take too long to reach, getting powders takes much longer. Maybe if powders were obtainable from tasks from level 15, there'd be something to work towards while increasing your Level. (And if users aren't aiming for the legendaries, there'd be more powders for sale). Though the issue with that would be that the items needed for tasks are significantly cheaper / easier to obtain at lower levels.

Another idea could possibly be to introduce level rewards: 1 White Powder every 5 levels from 15-30, 1 every level for 30+ (that might be too much, maybe 2 every 5 levels 30 till 50, and 1 every level for 50+)
[That'd probably require a separate suggestion thread though.]

Like I said earlier, I think the main issue is the lack of powders for sale. So either upping the drop rate, or making them obtainable in multiple ways, should help.

Another small idea would be to make them obtainable from the beach. You could find them washed up on the shore, like the Shoal items, at a 1/500-1/1000 chance (you can only get 5 items per day). Or you could fish them up very rarely. Doesn't really make sense lore-wise how you can get a mysterious "white powder" from delivering berries to NPCs. [Though again, this'd require another suggestion, which is a bit annoying, since these are all related to the same idea - cost / ease of obtaining the Swords of Justice]

Got confused for a second by what you meant by GC lol. Yeah, the Gem Legendaries are also quite expensive. But I feel like those are a bit more passive; you don't have to refresh Board tasks every 15 minutes, you don't have to check the Item Market as often, since there's a lot more gems available compared to powders. You can also get gems in multiple ways, not just buying them (slots, rumble).

There's a suggestion to lower the number of gems needed, but I don't think that's the right approach. Made a suggestion a couple days ago to lower the rarity tier for Ice, Ghost, and Fire gems, which would mean there's more of them available. Especially since both Glastrier and Articuno need Ice gems, so they're currently worth 3k PD.

I'm currently level 7, the only thing I've done is start clicking the ''click list'' and waiting for someone returns the favor to get my eggs going. My party only consists of eggs that I'm breeding, once bred it goes straight to the storage and I'm getting a new egg from Rowan or the daycare. Is that how it works? Doing the rumble since start as well. Is this the game play loop? Do I need to get higher level so i can do more activities? What else can I do?

Bolt's group came to a halt along the winding path, the rumble of thunder trailing close behind. The storm was sweeping in fast from the west—right on their heels and following the same eastward road to Emberhold. If they wanted to beat it there, they'd have to move, and fast.

The trail beneath them was mostly packed dirt, but the loose, dry sediment wouldn’t stay that way for long. One good downpour, and it would turn into a treacherous stretch of slick, clinging mud. Every second counted now.

Some puzzle pieces should have a 100% drop rate, such as the ones from Royal Tunnel, Gem Cauldron, and Bulletin Board. Others should have higher drop rates, but not a 100%.

There are 72 Royal Tunnel pieces available. The current fastest way to get them is by repeating the Beginner Path over and over, where you'll have a chance to get a piece at the end. 72*20 = 1440 levels, and that'd be higher if you answer wrong and start again. By having a 100% drop rate, it wouldn't take any more than 1440 levels.

Gem Cauldron has a similar issue. 48 pieces, but a ~1/4 drop rate. Given how expensive it is to brew evolution stones (~15k PD worth of gems), pieces should have a 100% drop rate.

Same with the Bulletin Board. The cost of the items is often greater than the reward, especially at higher levels. There are 48 pieces to get, so it can take a while.

The Emera Square pieces are obtained from the Bug contest. You have a chance to get them when rating a Pokémon. 24 Pokémon isn't a lot, so maybe a 50% chance would be better, which'd take 48 Pokémon.

There are 72 rumble pieces. I have completed 1320 missions and only got 39 of them. Maybe a 10% chance would work? [Edit: got the rest by spamming 5 minute rumbles. Maybe it’d be better if the chance scaled with duration?]

Keldeo Quest

Quote from Prof. Rowan after reaching 200 eggdex

Hm, well, could it be? ... No! ... Or?
Oh, hey, [player]! I didn't notice you, sorry.
I'm fascinated by this shining blue stone that one of my Pokémon found on a rumble Mission!

What? ... Of course I also send Pokémon on rumble Missions!

Anyway, I just can't seem to solve the mystery behind this precious stone. Do you have a clue?

Quote(If we accepted the quest)

"Sure"? You won't tell me, huh?
Well, I guess I'll have to give up then and give you the stone instead. You're very smart - I bet you can solve the mystery!

(1 Resolute stone obtained)

With the Berrygarden puzzles, does the chance of getting a piece when harvesting berries increase with level/berry rarity? Or is it the same chance for level 1 berries compared to say, level 50 berries?
Also, does the chance increase with the number of berries harvested? Like if you harvest 60 plants at once, would you have a greater chance of getting a piece as harvesting a single plants?

Another question - with the Emera Square puzzle, do you only get pieces from the Bug contest? Or can you get them from the Beauty contest as well? (e.g. completing tasks)

Edit: same with the rumble pieces, does the chance increase with the duration of the mission? Or is it the same for a 5 minute mission compared to a Galar mission?
