Advent Calendar Event

Advent CalendarChristmas is nearing closer and everyone in Emera Town is preparing for the awesome holidays! Are you already as excited as we are?
To make the wait for Christmas a little more bearable, we are having our traditional Advent Calendar Event! Behind each door of our calendar, an individual task and a small reward are waiting for you: Maybe you get an evolutionary stone, maybe just a berry - or perhaps even an exciting Event Egg from the past! Anything can happen.

This year you can pick from five different advent calendar designs themed "Winter Holidays in the Past or Future". They are the winning entries from our recent community drawing contest!

Halloween Event
Trick or Treat

Halloween Plaguekrow Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something nice to eat!
It's Halloween time - so get dressed up as a ghost, zombie or boomer and scare other residents of Emera Town to get some tasty sweets!
As every year, you can collect Halloween Sweets by interacting, 'trick or treat'ing other members, by rumbling and by spending Dream Points. These Halloween Sweets can then be exchanged by very rare Event Items, plushies and Event Pokémon - including a new addition!

Warning: Creepy Ghost-Pokémon have recently been spotted searching for sweet candy in Emera Town. It seems they haven't attacked any of our citizens yet, but it's probably best to be careful when trick-or-treat'ing.

New Paldean Arrivals
Event Distribution

Lechonk, Pawmi, Fidough New Pokémon from the Paldea Region have arrived in Emera Town: The popular Pig-Pokémon, Lechonk, the cute Mouse-Pokémon, Pawmi, and the loyal Dog-Pokémon, Fidough, are now available exclusively in a new Event Distribution! They will become available via Professor Rowan's Lab eventually, but this is your early-bird chance to get your hands on them much earlier. Plus: Every Egg from this distribution has a higher shiny chance than usual!

With this new Event Distribution, a new update has been implemented as well: As you know, the activity point requirement increases with every Event egg you claim. This curve had been very steep in the past - for example your 5th egg required 7-times as many activity points as the 1st egg. With this update, the curve has been relaxed a bit, making this challenge more motivating. The 5th egg, for example, now only requires 3.8-times as many activity points. Enjoy!

Explore past and future

Professor Sada Greetings, Trainers! Allow me to introduce myself – I am Prof. Sada. With an unquenchable fascination for Pokémon from both the past and the future, I extend to you an invitation: a journey through time unlike any other.
In this new quest, your path will be determined by your affinity for eras – past or future: If the past beckons, you'll immerse yourself in the Path of Nostalgia. For those lured by the allure of the future, the Path of Anticipation awaits. Choose wisely! Your decision will not only determine the outcome of the quest, but also future opportunities.

The quest is all about studying the Pokémon from a certain Professor in town. There's something truly paradoxical about them. ... My point is: Shiny hunting is a distraction in this quest. Take a well-deserved break when you get the chance! The quest has no time-limit, so finish your current hunt and then make sure to help me with my research.

Some more info you might find relevant: The legendary Pokémon you might obtain in this quest can only be traded with trainers who also own their EggDex entries. It's also worth to note that currently they are shiny-locked - though hunting options will become available!

And remember, this is only the beginning. Stay prepared for more research quests arriving in Fall 2023. I hope to see you again soon!

Shaymin is back
... with a few improvements

ShayminShaymin is back in Emera Town and wants to make kind-hearted trainers a very special gift! As every year, you can choose between: A Shaymin egg, a Shaysola egg, a Gracidea Flower, or a Shaymin Plushie. Just like last year, you can actively increase the shiny odds for the next time you claim a Shaymin egg by accepting a bunch of Shaymin Plushies first. The more patience you show, the higher the shiny chance will rise.

The Shaymin Event lasts until September 10th. This is a slightly shorter than usual; however, in return, the chances of finding Shaymin have been increased. We have noticed that the motivation of our players declines after about two weeks - so having a shorter but more rewarding experience should make it more worth your time!

And as always: Sky Gifts are available again as well! You can buy and send three gifts to your friends for a small amount of Pokedollar every day. These gifts contain random items; such as Berries, Gems and Poké Balls. Or, if you're lucky, perhaps even a Pokémon Egg! (QoL Update: You will no longer lose the Pokemon Egg when you have no empty spot in your Party. You will receive a warning instead and be able to claim it later.)

Paldea Evolved
Gen IX Evolutions
New evolutions from the Paldea region are now available:
Primeape evolves into Annihilape at Level 35 (which is when it learns Rage Fist in the official games).
Girafarig evolves into Farigiraf at Level 32 (which is when it learns Twin Beam).
Dunsparce evolves into Dudunsparce (or rarely into Dududunsparce) at Level 32 (which is when it learns Hyper Drill). Mega-able Dunsparce cannot perform this evolution.
Bisharp evolves into Kingambit with the help of a new evolutionary item: The Leader Crest! This item can be found in mystery boxes and is sometimes available at the Item Shop.
Sprigatito evolves into Floragato at Level 16, which evolves into Meowscarada at Level 36.
Fuecoco evolves into Crocalor at Level 16, which evolves into Skeledirge at Level 36.
Quaxly evolves into Quaxwell at Level 16, which evolves into Quaquaval at Level 36.

All three Paldean starters are now also breedable. Their rarity has been changed from "Special" to "Starter", so they can also be obtained from the Gem Collector and rarely from Prof. Rowan's Lab. Happy hunting!

Necrozma Fusion
Unleash its full potential
Ultra Necrozma
Necrozma's fusions with Lunala and Solgaleo are now available: Place your Necrozma together with a Lunala or Solgaleo in your party, go to your Necrozma's profile page, and fuse them together into its Dawn Wings or Dusk Mane form! After this fusion, you can fuse it again with yet another Solgaleo/Lunala (the species you hadn't used in the first fusion) for its Ultra form!
To obtain the shiny version of these fusions, only Necrozma needs to be shiny. It is not possible to fuse it with a shiny Solgaleo or shiny Lunala.
