Umbro was always a kind of loner he didn't like to be near people so when he had the chance to get his starter he amidiatly went alone to route 4 and look for a good starter pokemon to be his partner he looked there for hours and didn't find anything until he saw a small eevee laying hurt on the floor he ran strait to help the eevee and saw that its different it was white instead of the usual brown color he decided that this eevee will be the perfect partner pokemon and caught it and went to pokecenter in Veridian city to help the poor eevee "you will be okay" he promised the eevee before giving it to nurse joy.

Phoebe looked up and introduced herself to the trainer, "The name's Phoebe and this is Hubie the Piplup", Hubie smiled. Phoebe carried the parcel that needs to be delivered to the Professor, "Gosh this parcel is heavy, I just hope I can get it to the Professor", Phoebe said then she turned to her Piplup, "Hubie, it's time to deliver that parcel", Hubie puffed and then Phoebe said, "I will see you soon Darryl but if you want to do some training at Route 1, feel free to do so", Phoebe smiled as she departed the Pokemon Center in Viridian City and headed down south back to Route 1.

It was now nightfall in Viridian City. The only lights on in the city were those of the Pokemon Center and PokeMart, which are thankfully open 24 hours.

Marcia struts into Viridian City and immediately bolts for the PokeMart. "10 Antidotes, 15 Repels, 5 Potions, 15 PokeBalls... yeah, that sounds good!" she says to the clerk. After paying for her items, she and her overflowing wicker bag wobble over to the Pokemon Center for some much needed rest. "Let's wait here for our new friends! Then, in the morning, we can check out Viridian Forest." Marcia says to Shelly intently.

"Tell me again why we're stationed to guard Viridian Forest? The most dangerous Pokemon in this place is the occasional Butterfree!" A police officer asks. "Apparently, there's a big Weedle infestation. But Oak seemed pretty concerned when he sent us over here. Kinda weird, considering Viridian Forest is full of Weedles anyway. But for the record, no way I'm gonna question him." the other guard retorts. "Oooh, scared that Mewtwo is hiding out in there, tough guy?" the first guard taunts. "N-no! Come on, it's just a rumor after all. Mewtwo doesn't even exist." he sighs, hoping he's right.

(I'll be AFK for a bit! Maybe some of your characters can get to know each other before entering Viridian Forest? I apologize for guarding it so heavily, I do have something planned there though ;p )

while waiting for eevee to feel better Umbro asked around the pokecenter if anyone kows why his eevee is not the usual color and instead is a snow white color but no one realy knew or they did know but wouldn't tell Umbro so he decided to just sit there and wait for eevee to feel better

Phoebe headed down south back to Route 1, while Hubie the Piplup joined in the adventure, "Time to head back to the Professor lab", Phoebe said. She sees the Hoothoot flying around as well as some Pidgey and Kanto Rattata playing around for a bit, Phoebe carried the parcel and she was glad that she had Hubie the Piplup helping her. "Hubie, we are back at Pallet Town, time to give the parcels to Professor Oak", Phoebe said as she and Hubie headed inside the professor laboratory.

when eevee finally came back it looked so energized and exited it ran straight to Umbro's shoulder rapped itself around his neck and fell asleep after after that Umbro ran to the pokemart and bought some pokeballs

Phoebe made it back to the Professor Lab with the parcel that she carried along with assistance from Hubie, "Professor, I've brought in a parcel for you", Phoebe said. Professor Oak was very happy that Phoebe brought in the parcel from the Professor, "Thank you Phoebe and Hubie the Piplup for bringing me that parcel, I think if you are in the need of teammates, I might have to give you some Pokeballs", Phoebe was excited and so was Hubie. "Thank you Professor Oak, I won't let you down, also I've followed your rules by not going to the Viridian Forest", Phoebe said. Professor Oak nodded in agreement then the Professor said, "Now Phoebe and Hubie your adventure must continue on, good luck!", Phoebe nodded and along with Hubie exited the professor's laboratory and continued her adventure.

It was now morning, though the sky didn't exactly suggest it. It was foggy with a chance of rain later in the day, though that wouldn't stop our adventurous group of trainers!

"Alright, today we check out Viridian Forest!" Marcia told to her new friends. Seeing the gloomy weather, Marcia sighed. "Ooh, the rain will ruin my makeup!" Shelly, however, jumped for joy at the sight of a drizzle. Taking out a small umbrella, Marcia would protect herself from the rain while Shelly jumped in the puddles along Viridian City. Soon, she reached the gate.

"Oy! You there, little trainer! Didn't you hear? There's a Weedle infestation past these parts. Nobody's allowed in." One of the officers grumbled. The other followed, "Orders straight from Professor Oak, 'don't let anybody in!' and I nor you want to defy the Professor, do you?"

Marcia stood, slightly shocked at the sight of two police officers guarding the Forest. Surely, that's a bit overkill? "With all due respect, Mr. Policemen, I'm going into that forest. Oak's word means just about as much to me as the ground I'm stepping on. So, lemme in!"

The policemen laugh. "Allllright kid, I guess we'll have to settle this the old fashioned way!" One of them says. In an instant, both policemen send out their own Growlithe.

"Oh, a battle! Sweet! Shelly, go!" Marcia sends out her Squirtle. "Hmmm, it is a 2v1 right now..." Marcia turns her head back towards the city. "Anyone wanna battle with me?" she shouts, before sending a rain-boosted Bubble towards one of the Growlithe.

Phoebe and Hubie continued to head up north back to Viridian City, as Phoebe continued to walk up she hears the battle that is happening up north, "Uh oh, I hear that a battle is underway", Phoebe along with Hubie the Piplup continued to head up north and suddenly she sees a Nidoran female, "I see a Nidoran female, I guess it's time to battle, ready Hubie?", Phoebe asked and soon Hubie nodded which means it's another battle for Hubie. Phoebe had to stay focused in the battle, but she was ready, "Okay Hubie, use Pound", Hubie puffed up and ran to Nidoran female and used the Pound attack which did some damage, soon the Nidoran female used the tail whip move in which it missed. Phoebe thought carefully and soon said, "Hubie use Pound one more time", Hubie ran and used Pound on Nidoran female but this time it did a little damage, Phoebe then grabbed the Pokeball and threw it on the Nidoran female, the silhouette of Nidoran female disappear into the Pokeball, Phoebe waited to see if the plan worked, the Pokeball shook once, then the Pokeball shook twice, Phoebe took a deep breath and the Pokeball shook for the third time and soon it stopped shaking and stood still, Phoebe caught a Nidoran Female. Phoebe took a deep breath and said, "Phew, I did it! I caught a Nidoran female", Phoebe said excitedly and Hubie smiled.

When Umbro eard someone calling for help neer veridian forest he looked happily at eevee and said "seems we got ourselves something to do" he ran straight to veridian forest and when he saw the battle he ran even faster "eevee use swift on the growlith then use tackle on the other growlith" when he finally got there he looked at the girl who called for help and asked "you going to veridian forest?" While still fighting the policeman

After feeling very excited that Phoebe caught a Nidoran female, she along with Hubie the Piplup continued to head up to Viridian City, after a few steps up ahead Phoebe along with Hubie the Piplup and Arizona the Nidoran Female made it back to Viridian City and soon she sees the battle that is happening, "Goodness is that a battle going on?", Phoebe asked. Soon she sees the other trainers who are seeing the battle, Hubie the Piplup was surprised and Arizona the Nidoran Female looked on, Phoebe continued to watch the battle as it goes on.

The two Growlithe used Ember, one on each Pokemon, but the rain weakened the attacks.

"Thanks, bud!" Marcia smiles. "Yes.... well, trying to go to Viridian Forest, I mean." she explains. "Shelly, use Bubble, but aim for both the Growlithe!" Shelly obliges, and powered by the rain, the Squirtle hits a critical hit Bubble on the already weakened Growlithe to knock them out.

"Yes!" She turns to her fellow trainer. "Thanks to you and your Eevee, we beat these old geezers!" she laughs, putting out a hand to shake.

"Uughhh... fine, we'll let you lot in. You seem strong enough to handle whatever's in there. But don't tell anyone about this!" One officer groaned. "Yeah, we'd never hear the end of it if we said we got beat by two rookie trainers..." the other adds. "One more thing... don't go through the forest's exit. You can go into the forest, but there are guards on the other side of it as well. Take the detour once you're ready to go to Pewter City." With that final word of advice, they both step aside.

Walking and talking, Marcia heads into the gate leading to the forest. "Yaaayyy! Alright! I don't think they'll mess with our group now. Thanks for helping me out! What's your name, aga-"

Entering the forest, Marcia pauses. "W-what?"

Viridian Forest, if you could call it a forest anymore, was almost completely decimated. Trees line what looked like a huge crater in the center of what was once a verdant biome. It resembled a desert, now. Stray Pokemon, most of them hurt, stick to the sides of the forest where trees still remained, half out of necessity and half out of fear of the new people entering their old home.

(So! There are Pokemon to be caught here, but they're all hurt, so you don't have to put up much of a fight to catch them.

Regular Encounters:
- Weedle
- Caterpie
- Oddish
- Bellsprout
- Wurmple

Special Encounters (a wheel will be spun to determine who gets to catch these. Palpad me if you want to be in the draw! Though it won't happen for at least a few hours to give everyone a chance to decide!)

Phoebe ran up to meet with Marcia and the other trainers who were already heading to Viridian Forest, "Come on Hubie and Arizona we got to meet up with the other trainers", Phoebe said as she continues to run. Hubie and Arizona joined Phoebe in heading to the Viridian Forest, "So this is the Viridian Forest, I guess I might have to find a grass type Pokemon for the Pewter City gym of course I got Hubie the Piplup which is a huge boost", Hubie nodded in agreement and Arizona the Nidoran Female also agreed.

Indigo finally caught up with everyone, they looked pretty rough to say the least. Even Pecan wasn't with 'em, Indigo will have to teach him to slow down and not rush as much. Panting, Indigo wheezed "I-I'm back," Pecan looked back and noticed Indigo, with a mix of shock and shame on his face.

Teo had followed along earlier, slightly bemused at the fact that their group was already coming into conflict with law enforcement. He stayed out of the battle, knowing that his Bulbasaur would have a difficult time against the two fire type Pokémon, but he trusted that the force of nature that was Marcia would get them through.

Taking in the damage to the forest, he let out a low whistle. “No wonder there are guards here.” Stepping closer to the crater to inspect the damage, he asked the others, “Do you know what caused this?”

Ronno too followed along- rather blindly, really just trailing along for the lack of other things to trail after. Ever since Route 1, he was too preocuppied with fiddling with Jolynes fur, trying to put the long strands covering her face up with little, diamond-shaped pins.

Jolyne was first bemused, but when Ronno grew bolder at the face of his utter failure, and started talking about the little scissors in his handbag, Jolyne started expressing her botherment with electricity.

But now, all the pins and little shocks were forgotten about. At the face of what remained of Viridian Forest, all that remained in Ronnos's mind was a heavy cocktail of curiosity and dread, one that Ronno knows led to bad ideas.

Slowly, as if he knew that he is making a mistake, but was determined to do it anyway, he went over to kneel next to Tao, and dragged a well-manicured finger through the crater's raggedy surface. His finger came off covered in ash, and Ronno with zero hesitance immediately proceeded to lick it.

It didn't taste paranormal, so there was that. Some balm, for his weary soul. "It was the weedle infestation, of course. Gobbled up all the foliage, and then their sires.. liquified the earth, I suppose? Flesh, soil, what is the difference in the end. A issue of overcrowding, nothing more, nothing else..."

Even to him, that sounded just a tad dubious but.. Ronno would like to hope. He knew how to deal with ghosts, and the inevitable Doomsday too. Atleast, he trusted himself to figure it all out when it got to it.

But whatever was the... The Entity, the Mewtwo that his subconscious whispered to him in a frighted, mousy tone, that one was a matter way past his coverage.

Still being amazed at the sight of Pokemon in the Viridian Forest, Phoebe along with Hubie the Piplup and Arizona the Nidoran Female started to walk up and check out which Pokemon are at the Viridian Forest, "There's got to be an alternate pathway to Pewter City", Phoebe said as Hubie and Arizona looked around. "As far as I know, all I see are bug and grass type Pokemon which is astounding", Phoebe said. Soon Phoebe had an idea, "I guess I need to find a grass type Pokemon, hope for the best", Phoebe said as she begun her search of the grass type Pokemon. "Arizona and Hubie, can you stay with me please?", Phoebe asked.

“Well, if Ronno’s tastebuds know anything, then hopefully it wasn’t anything more than hungry Weedles…” Marcia says, still amazed. A tinge of familiarity seeped through her. Her face turned to a frown as she thought about the destruction. Clearly, the tsunami on 4 Island and this… they seemed too similar. Too out-of-the-blue. Unexplainable. But soon, her attention turned to a lonely Weedle, rummaging in the grass next to her, and her eyes lit up. “Well, at least I can catch a new friend!” She said before chucking a PokeBall at the already weakened bug type.

Shake, shake, shake… click!

“Well, at least catching the Pokemon here should be easy…” her positive demeanor didn’t do the best job at masking her intimidation. Surely, something greater than herself did this… she almost hopes it isn’t true, and yet, what’s an adventure without a villain?
